I just made your top-down cardigan bulky yarn pattern with merino wool dyed by a young man who lives in Chicago and I am hooked on your patterns now. I can't wait for the worsted weight sweater vest this is exactly what I have been looking for my daughter. Now I am excited for the caplet so pretty. I am excited to get your gauge tool because I also spin my own yarn and am always looking for ways to use it. So happy I found you.
That is awesome! You spin your own yarn!? Wow, that's amazing.... so glad you're enjoying the patterns and hope you find the tool helpful! Cheers and happy knitting :)
Ashley, tq for your tutorials. I got a task for you. Cardigan without raglan, increase or decrease but must be one row repeat lace 😜😜😜😜😘😘😘😘. See what you come out with . Also must be worsted weight yarn
Oh good -- so glad to hear! I'm really loving it too. Funny how the designs you don't think are going to turn out, turn out to be one of your favorites!
How are you??? You look great! I am knitting the cardigan you are wearing, and tought us how to do it, in a portuguese yarn named Badana, from Rosa Pomar . The sheep, are Churra Badana native from the north of Portugal and are in great risk of extinction. Hopefully I will be finishing this simple but beautiful cardigan in this so special yarn. I am the one that doesn't knit sleeves...well, never mind who I am, just know that you have a big fan here in Lisbon 🥰
Oh you are too sweet! I love hearing what you're up too ..... and so sad to hear about the sheep. I hope they find a way to protect them. Feel free to send me a pic when you're done -- would love to see the finished product ♥️
Hi Ashley, I really love your videos and patterns. Thanks for all the kind sharing! I'm an intermediate knitter but I'm so curious about how to make my design in different sizes, as to make a proper finished pattern. Is the size calculation going to be involved in your future video plan or course? I will be really excited to get your idea.
Ashley I'm wanting to make my first wearable of your design along with a full tutorial of course. I'm brand new to knitting but I'm so devoted to learn. I have been crocheting 47 years and I love yarn but I'm not as in love with how some crochet garments look vs knitting. I will always crochet but I'm hungry to knit!! Lol forgot to ask my question-what in your opinion should be my 1st wearable of yours to make?
It will be like that until you fill in the gauge information! Once you fill in the gauge cells for both stitches and rows there won't be any more errors! Everything is blank when you open it initially....
Hi there! All of the info I reference in the video is in the video description. Here’s a link to the tool! www.etsy.com/listing/1394648556/knitting-pattern-gauge-converter-tool
I bought your gauge and could not download a proper useable copy. Etsy will not answer me and this is now the second time I have thrown my money away. Yours was the highest amount. I’m very disappointed with Etsy.
I live in the U.S. too…. I write my sizes numerically because S, M, L means different things to different people in different brands. It’s more important, in my opinion, to look at the finished size of the garment so you can figure out what makes sense for you.
I enjoyed your video for the most part, however you go on and on and on and repeat the same idea as if your audience isn't smart enough to get it at least the second time. You waste a lot of time.
Hi Katie, as you can imagine, it's hard to get up in front of a camera and speak without a script. I'm continually learning and improving, as we all are. I also don't like to waste my time with comments like this so I'll leave it at that!
Ashley, thank you so much for another great video!! You are amazing, and I’m sure that I speak for many others, we appreciate you for all that you do.
Thank you so much!!

After changing up the yarn/gauge, what is the best way to determine the amount of yarn needed for the project?
Love you
♥️
Ashley I purchased your gauge tool and now my blue has errors in the total on some of my converters. Can you help me with this please?
