So many things have happened since my last recording!
We spent two months in the Baltics, visiting family, and after we came back to France, it was time to move into our first home!
We moved in a little over a month ago, and have much work to do!
One of the first thing that I tackled was my little atelier. I now have a knitting room of my own, a special place to design, create and store all of my woolly bits!

Yes! It’s a cottage from 1870 so quite old indeed! We are still in France and about 15 minutes from a « big » city
Bonjour Mélody. Je tricote à l’anglaise, j’ai essayé de tricoter à l’a continental mais sans succès. Je tricote à l’anglaise en lâchant mon aiguille comme vous le faite. Je ne me sens plus complexée de le faire et à présent lorsqu’on me demandera comment je tricote, je dirais que je tricote à la Mélody. Très belle vidéo. Bon baiser de Brest.
Oh mais il ne faut pas complexer! Nous tricotons tous différemment et cela reflète notre héritage. Au contraire, je pense qu’il faut être fier de la manière dont nous tricotons. Rien ne nous empêche d’essayer une autre méthode, mais vraiment je ne comprends pas les personnes qui « jugent » la manière de tricoter, c’est vraiment ridicule.

The small bottle of stuff you were spraying on your yarns and sweaters…was it a nice smell or was it moth protection, or both?
It’s not moth repellent per se, but it smells wonderful, so moths probably hate it!
Lovely video! (You use a different technique when you knit, I cannot take my eyes from it as we do it quite differently but with the same result as far as I understand)

Just found your vlog. You have pretty knit sweaters in neutral shades of beige & brown. How do you start a knit in the round? Is it different than using 2 knitting needles?
A warm welcome to you! Oh it’s absolutely amazing to knit in the round. It goes very very fast and most of the time you don’t have to purl which I know is not everyone’s cup of tea. Maybe try to check for tutorial on RUclips to understand the mechanics of knitting in the round. It’s a game changer really :)
