Dany wrote the song when she was 15 years old. She was feeling homesick while attending Berklee School of Music in Boston for a summer semester back in 2015. She had procrastinated on an assignment to write a song til late the night before it was due. She literally wrote this entire song in an hour, went to sleep, woke up, and presented it to her teacher the next morning.

An excellent song with one of Daniela's few solos that is really beautiful, a classic rock song that never goes out of tune, great analysis of Dany's artwork, cheers.
i do believe i quite like this series.
unlike the vast majority of tutorials, this felt like an organic learning process (as opposed to a sterile block of instruction). i think it's probably good for people who are trying to learn to actually see what that process looks like real-time ... hunting around for that right note, hitting 3-4 wrong notes en route, i could actually feel my ear getting trained in real-time as i watched this. there really is next-to-zero real learning that comes from just watching someone run through a pre-rehearsed perfect run. you can't just ignore the misses , you have to embrace them and flow with them.
not only was this tutorial very accessible, but it makes just the _process_ of learning feel accessible.
anyways, i guess that was just an overly-rambling way of saying "cool vid".
