    One of the things I find compelling about The Warning is how they take all their influences, mix them around in their creative "blender" and out comes a wonderful melding of different rock sub-genres. It's their own genre. The Warning genre!

    5:10 that’s the way to answer that question. I don’t want to know if they’re in a relationship, I just wish for them to find someone worthy if it ever happens. They deserve it. And they deserve to decide how much of their life they share: few people would be comfortable with the amount of public attention they have already allowed in their childhood and adolescence.

    • @moooosica1
      @moooosica1 2 месяца назад +8

      they have had this wuestion in a few interviews, and they always go around it. its because they are touring all the time so they wouldnt be good as a girlfriend, but thats their lifestyle. regardless , they are definitely one of the best bands ever!

    • @thomasalbrecht5914
      @thomasalbrecht5914 2 месяца назад +8

      @@moooosica1 yes, that question always comes up, but think of it: how often would male musicians be asked if they have a girlfriend? It’s really dumb.

  • @Pascal-the-Rascal
    @Pascal-the-Rascal 2 месяца назад +4

    Regarding the question about female rock bands, of course it would be very cool to see more and more female rock bands, but I don't think anyone should "take over" anything, let the people who are good at what they do, do it, regardless of their gender. A good rock band is a good rock band. These amazing ladies have shown us that it's perfectly fine for girls to have male role models, and vice versa. If I remember it correctly, Dany said in an interview that the gender of the people on the stage isn't important, what's important is having fun, or something along those lines, if so, she's absolutely right. It's always a pleasure to listen to them, they are not just world class musicians and song writers, they are also funny, intelligent, well spoken, and openminded.

In reality I would be EXTREMELY surprised if these 3 amazing girls/women are NOT selling-out the biggest venues within the next couple of years as the headliners. Its interesting to see the different ways this album is being received. I would describe it as anything but growth. What I hear is a regression to the rock radio mean. Fuzzed out, tuned down guitars. Vocals with incredibly heavy effects. Extreme pop arrangements. To my ears this album is a side step into radio hit land, not a growth in musicianship. The collaborations with lesser writers has very much highlighted how special their first three albums are.

      Roy, you’ve been making the RUclips rounds with similar commentary for a while now. Of course that’s your right. With that said, I disagree with virtually every point. I think this is a major creative step forward. Yes, there are different influences and sonic differences, but these are still clearly Dany, Pau & Ale’s songs. They’re not going to record slightly different versions of XXI Century Blood and QOTMS over and over just to make a certain segment of people happy. They’re going to make THEMSELVES happy, and they clearly love this record.
