  • The Road The Stage has officially gone International - or whatever you say when you interview your first non-Canadian guests! Patrick Bateman and Peter Michaels host The Warning at Communal Creative Studios. The Warning were in between shows in Alberta and stopped by for fresh waffles, to educate TRTS on parts of their homeland in Monterrey, Mexico - discuss their wild trajectory and how 3 sisters approach writing and performing some pretty killer rock music. If you haven;t heard of Ale, Dani and Pau from The Warning just yet - it’s only a matter of time. They are a BIG DEAL.

Wow this is the most enjoyable interview of them I have seen. Got them all enthused, not the usual stuff they have done hundreds of times before, really brought out their fun loving personalities. And on top of that, heard them talk about things I haven't heard before, and I pretty much devour everything they come out with. Especially surprised by news of going to Nashville next month for a writing session. Totally new info to me. Thank you very, very much. I particularly love the thing about not believing it when crazy good things are happening. When everyone around you is telling you that you're the greatest, the worst mistake you can make is to actually believe the things people are saying about you. A lot of wisdom on display here from both interviewer and interviewed.

That was a really good interview, with terrific detail re: their Berklee experience. I’ve been following them for years, and there were one or two things I hadn’t heard.
I’d never really thought about it, but imagine 10-year old Ale holding her own with super-talented older teens who probably started playing music before she was born. It’s kind of incredible.

I love watching interviews with these three humble and talented ladies. Pau is a tiny ball of energy, and I can just imagine her as a teenager going into a class with people who are older. I've also seen their early music videos where the bass is almost as big as Ale. I hope they come to the UK one day.

"Very Canadian" lol I loved the things they mentioned.. especially the 'are we pronouncing your names correctly'. Little things like that can be very heart warming. I was born and raised in the US, with a very Hispanic name and have dealt with people that won't even bother to get it right.. or even just purposely call me by a completely different name that is much more common. It's incredibly rude. Fun interview. I really enjoyed it.

Then the interviewers allowed the ladies to speak. Very thoughtful and relaxed interview. Very welcoming. Loved it. Learned new things like Ale was once learning how to play a saxophone. Also, they may have just encouraged a new dimension in The Warning's music with Dany playing sax in a song. Look to INXS for how that's done. Such a great and interesting video. This is great. You got the girls firing on all cylinders. Edit: The food was a brilliant idea. Years ago, Arsenio Hall was interviewing a "supermodel", Kathy Ireland (?), and she was frozen - she couldn't speak. So, he got up and left the stage (no cam following, so just Kathy in her chair). He came back with a tray of food from the green room, set it on the hassock between them and started to eat. Then she started to eat and all of a sudden she was engaged and coherent. Not saying that TW are anything like KI, just that Arsenio was brilliant, as are you.

What a fun interview! You could see the girls visibly relax as things went on. You guys definitely did your homework about the origins of The Warning, and kept them involved the whole time. Great stuff, and hello from the Southwest U.S.👋 We're right across the northern border of Mexico, and of course the culture is pretty common here (Western New Mexico actually), so we feel very close to these girls, and a lot of people in the area are bilingual as well, so to us, their grasp of the English language is damned near perfect!!🤣 In some of their early interviews, it seemed they were grasping for words quite frequently, but not so much anymore, as they spend more time in the U.S. and Canada.😉 They have gained a ton of experience in the last 10 years, (much more than I did in almost 40 years of playing)😮, and they keep pushing the envelope, which is important if you're going to make it big! I would love to see where they end up 10 years from now, but I don't know if I'll make it that long. I'm pretty sure they'll be shaking up stages around the world though.😍👍

Hey, just wanted to ask permission to do a reaction video to this interview. We love the Warning and were told this was a great interview by you. We don't want to risk a copyright hit if you don't want us to cover the interview. Thanks.

I love when host do research and listen and give space to their guest to speak. And also relate every question to the recent statement. That's a master work.👍

I really want to know when the Nashville dates are! I have wanted to see The Warning for so long, and that's probably as close as you girls will be for me to attend! Great interview, so excited to see you live!

Ouch, Dany it"s really cold in Canada. I noticed that there are many winter hats. Which she wears, only when she performs she doesn"t wear a winter hat.

As the lead singer she's the most vulnerable to the cold.

First time viewing this and I feel late to the party. Wow - what a difference 4 months makes. In the interview, they mentioned their dates in South America (Peru, etc.). Who would have known that they would be asked to do 4 shows with muse, as well? Even more wild that Muse came back, again, and asked them to do some more tour dates with them in Europe, in mid 2023. Insanity at its finest. I enjoyed the interview and the flashback to a few months ago. Thanks!

I came across these girls on a Instagram short quite a while back and have followed them since. Having grown up in a musical family myself I find their musicality very awesome. I hope the best for them and hope they don’t get ruined by the industry.

Very delightful to watch was intrigued every second of that and most of it was relatable - and you two hosts are the most down to earth and non annoying for the warning ive ever seen and genuine not a single question wasted good background knowledge of them and really focused on what they were saying - never been to canada lol

It's nice to see interview that take some time to do research, but also to take the time to do an in-depth interview. This is one of the better The Warning interviews out there.
