  • So I did it. I guess the micromanagement tipped it over the edge for me and I bit the bullet and QUIT (after months of back and forth 😅) I wasn't able to express my true creativity in this field of work and after a few years I really realised that this wasn't ME. Micromanagement looks different every where, if you ever feel you are struggling at work, speak to someone, if not work or friends, then definitely speak to your doctor (I did) Never stay silent if you are struggling. If you feel you are being treated unfairly at work then don't be afraid to voice your opinions because at the end of the day, it is your own mental health that will be affected x

Thank you for this video!! I started a new job 6 months ago and have been micromanaged since. I have never experienced this In my entire career. It is interfering with my personal life and I am starting to doubt my work and have a lot of anxiety. I have contemplated quitting then finding another job later because I don’t have it in me to wait to find something else. I just have to get out. Man how I took for granted past jobs where I didn’t experience this! What a nightmare. That’s again for this. Much love to you!

thank you for sharing your experiences with me 💛 it's so difficult when you're in a toxic job like that, it took a lot of healing for me after I left. If you can support yourself for a couple months whilst you find something else, I think it's for the best. Or you could always go and visit your GP who can sign you off for a few weeks and you can use that time to look for something else whilst you take a mental break. I hope this kind of helps you 💛 big hugs xxx

So true, they make you doubt even the easiest things in common real life. You even doubt if the way you are making a sandwich is ok. When they do it in front of other people is so humiliating, it messes with the rest of your day and your personal life :(

Same here and I feel so much better! The work I did for my previous company (E-com & multi-brand management) never ended, and there was always an intense sense of urgency so my anxiety was through the roof. I now have my own clients (in another area of expertise) and feel much better now. Wishing you the best💕

    Grace,
Here's my situation. I am also stressed out. I needed to request a transfer. I could not handle the site anymore.
Waiting for my boss to find me a new site. I had to leave the lawfirm account. Too much drama, too much politics. Putting a dead mouse inside my security blazer with an attached threatening post-it message is the straw that broke the camel's back. It is a toxic environment.
I worked there for almost 2.5 years. The silent treatment became unbearable but the dead mouse and threatening note did it for me. Monday night was my last day. I am now a man without a site anxiously waiting to start working at a new location.
People are really mean which is the main reason why I love to be alone. Thank God I have enough sense to save money for a rainy day. I hope to be at a site in the next few days.
    You say?

These events are mostly happening everywhere taking advantages lowering others status these private third party businesses creating own polices by unfairly positioning & are not effectively treating there employee as equal citizens it's all about modern slavery, lack of inspections & security is very weak & theres no level of respect then best way is distance yourself from these jobs to have a relief & for them who has pride/hate/misuse others will never feel peace or achieve happiness (May God succeed your journey ahead give you ability to ignore the past & move on) Its part of life good & bad moments it's all a test inside nature

I’m also about to quit my job due to a micromanaging Director. I’ve done so before for the same issue! It’s so hard to find good managers nowadays! So many of these companies are the same and they are all have awful managers on power trips! Working is NOTHING how it used to be years ago. It’s very sad because these types of managers push great employees away! 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’ve worked in HR for 11 years and I’ve worked in Payroll 3 times before I quickly got out of it when I saw how miserable all the ppl were in the payroll department. The payroll managers are ALWAYS nasty and mean to their employees.
