Great work gents! Thank you for pushing the 4 banger community.
Great work guys👍
that's called art!
I can't believe any high boost 4 cylinders are open deck in the first place
BMW eventually got the memo and added factory closed deck to the B48
So dope
my n54 has this same setup done to it. absolute unit of a block. a great investment when tryin to really push them.
Awesome! Any photos to share? :)
as a 428i N20 owner , this is something im looking forward to in the near future , also i assumed the n20 was like a german 4g63t , but i guess the sr20 would make a lot more sense .
has its moments but the N20 is a very capable little platform for sure!
@navadituned how do you feel about those aftermarket oil coolers the g plus brand?
Lack a thermostat, so unless you fit one, its a no from me
Quick question I have a full bolt on n20 currently running the stage 2 e30 ots from bootdmod3. Is the navardi tuned stage 2 e30 ots map a better option? Not really needing a full custom tune just something a little better than the ots map from bootmod3
Our OTS maps are alot more consistent, and linear over the BM3 OTS maps - we currently have a buy 1 get 1 free sale on for any of our tunes our Custom maps are better again. But whilst power gain is 2-3% on our OTS and 5% on our custom stage 2 maps. the biggest improvement is the drivability and top end of the engine as well as the silky smooth delivery of power. Feel free to reach out to us directly for more info
@@NavardiTuned I saw the sale for the tunes. It says buy 2 of the same tunes to get the second 1 free but why would I need to buy 2 of the same tunes?
@@Alpine_N20 So the tuning packages there are 3:
1. For stock turbo and stock engine
2. Stock engine and upgraded turbo
3. Upgraded Engine and upgraded turbo
once you buy the tune you can tell me you want it for E30 or E85 or 93 OCT etc (provided you have the correct supporting hardware) - So when I say buy 2 of the same I am referring to the tuning packages not 2x of 93 tune or e85 tune.
So with this promo you could get a 93 and E30 tune for example for the price of 1
Lots of build videos, with click-bait titles, but no actual results anywhere on the channel that I can find.
Put up a dyno run with some numbers and film a POV doing some pulls and drifts and you'll probably start selling some components. 👍
I have a bolt-on/tuned 228iMT M-sport, but I'm basically just waiting to buy a 240i unless I see proof that the N20 is actually worth some investment.
Wow, really seems you didn't do any research either on this channel or in our Instagram, discord, Facebook or Wiki.
Would encourage you to further your research before dropping any negative comments
Why the inner sleeve is not smooth as a mirror finish?
The inside wall of the sleeve where the piston sits on the example in the video has already been honed and you can see the cross hatched pattern. The sleeve that is shown in hand by Laurence and Tony has not been honed (we do not hone until it is installed into the engine as we must torque plate hone these sleeves)
The ouside of the sleeve is coated in a black coating this is a specialised coating to help with heat transference and corrosion from the water.
You do not use a mirror finish on the cylinder wall as that does not allow for good piston ring seal you must use the correct cross hatch pattern at the correct level of RA (roughness average) most engines use between 15 - 25 RA (although can depend on the wall material and piston ring material as to how low an RA is required. We have honed these to the correct specifications for our sleeve and piston combo
How i get that bore?

How much it cost?
Listed on our website navardituned.com
Would this application still work for the 2012 528i I know it's a bit different
Yes, exactly the same engine - you just have very tight room for aftermarket turbos
@@NavardiTuned I just sold my 528i and I regret it now i want my BMW back.
@@Luis92r :(
Yeah but why?
Why do this? You need to be abit more in depth than that
It’s to shut people up that say the N20 can’t make power
