Any chance y'all are planning to start selling the F8x arms with the F3x Syncro monoballs pressed in, like used in this build? The F30TAKIT looks like it uses F3x arms and this link has the standard F8x arms.
4cyl cars may not be popular as a tuning platform in America but outside the US where governments tax cars based on engine size they are very popular, can’t tell you how many 320/328/520/528’s I’ve tuned all with similar suspension and brake upgrades you’re doing here, it’s nice to see it outlined here on RUclips for a change
Since in my country you only got 4 cyclinder engines for the f30 I bought the 320i n20. Many people who have no proper knowledge were criticising that car only issue with it is the timing chain which you know will only break when it goes over 100k kms. But finally there’s someone upgrading and actually showing the potential of the 320 and 328i
Yes agreed as long as you catch it early and replace it it’s good for another 100K and the engine responds really well to tuning too, it’s no N55 but it’s still a fun platform to play with!
You guys are touching things that I thought you would never be touching, wonder how it'll drive like I'd love to drive it myself to get a understanding.
In the process of doing the same thing to my 2012 328 Manual. Ran into the same situation for the rear spring arm and currently in the process of developing a solution similar to SPL.
I have fitted an M Performance Brake Calipers, and have also programmed it onto my F32 428i. However I noticed it is pretty spongy on brake pedal feel (original floating calipers felt better), to the point that double pumping the brake pedal made it 150% more firm. Ive done multiple brake bleed-- its still the same unless i changed to New Brake Pads. Seek your advice on above.
Are the brake bleeders pointing up on all 4 corners? Seems like an easy thing to ask but I have seen radial mounted calipers installed upside down before and you have no shot of bleeding them thet way. Its also an easy thing to overlook if you're not paying close attention.
Hey guys a few questions. Firstly for the shocks did you consistent the Evolve Bilstein B16, they look a bit nicer and are supposedly better valves. Not sure if they make em for F30 though but would be worth looking into. Second, why did you choose 034 Motorsport for the Sway Bar/Bushings In comparison to RevShift/H&R or Dinan. Lastly for the inner rear LCA millway and suspension secrets make some really nice solid inserts to set the arms and dial in the setup even more. Also is the LCA upgrades needed cause I’ve been interested in looking into them. Lovely video, I have a 2015 328i Msport that’s I’ve upgraded brakes, tires, and a few smaller mods and this is really having me reconsider my original plans of selling the car. Amazing mods all around and I’m so excited to see what next!!
Can we get this video for xdrive please. It's like super rare to get a video like this for my vehicle. 440i gran coupe xdrive. I can't use those control arms because of drive. Or just a detailed video for what can be done with xdrive. Arms shocks and bearings and such. Also the rear suspension and arms too. PLEASE..... PRETTY PLEASE 🙏
BMW's go together like Lego's once you know the general architecture. In this case its the same rear subframe, same input size fron the drive shaft, and this car happened to have the larger rear knuckles with bigger wheel bearings and wheel hubs so the larger axles fit no problem (some 328i's have smaller rear wheel bearings based on production code) so it was a green light to go with the bigger diff with the slightly better gearing.
Unfortunately the xDrive platform limits your options, particularly with the front suspension and gearing changes due to the transfer case + front and rear diff. Everything in the rear is the same however. Engine wise you can do all the same stuff.
I cannot see the logic of swapping to F80 arms if you need to upgrade the bushings…the whole point of using F80 arms on an F30 chassis is to get the steering feel from the mono balls so why not just up the f30 arms to mono balls.. Please clarify…

The way this car feels honestly far exceeded our expectations.
I really love 328i videos thank you
Glad you enjoyed these!

Very awesome Build sir
Thanks Gregory , we are excited about it!
I watch a lot of your videos, congrats on the weight loss!
CANT WAIT FOR PERFORMANCE MODS

If you are confident the DSC is programmed correctly, I’d suggest running the ISTA brake bleed procedure.
Bigger master cylinder to push more fluid? Idk

Will there be a build sheet with parts link? I will be very much interested in some of the parts you guys added that aren't normally done for the N20
Yes I was waiting for this lol
Happy to deliver!

shorturl.at/itGS2 here ya go! Full cart coming for the entire build too.
I just want to know how the heck to make it possible to fit in a 40i LSD for the 328i. I want this. I need this 😭

Whats the hp on it now ?
Will this entire thing work on a regular 328xi?

Till this day noonee told mee how much power it makes
Will you guys consider doing this to a base G20 330i ?
That seam sealer in the the front wing area looks horrific for a factory job what’s going on bmw 😮
I am super jealous. Well… buh bye credit cards and eating for the next 9years.
