How do you tighten the nuts for the lid? Mine are all loose and I can't seem to get rhem tight!
This guy is amazing. He has skills of a good teacher.
Your tip for the pins on the legs completely saved us.
This was awesome! Thanks for all the tips. I did notice that when installing the last leg (the leg without the wheel) you had installed the metal clip upside-down. This caused the clip to be shoved too far inside the leg when I tried to put it on. The "V" of the clip should point inside the leg, and away from the bowl. Thanks again!
I bought a Master Touch yesterday. Wish I had seen this video first. As you said, much easier if the clips go in the legs (found out from trial and error) . And another good tip about attaching the lid holder bracket to the bowl first.
This is our first BBQ. I happened to come across this video and my husband put it together with this excellent step-by-step guide. Instruction manuals are fine but you can’t beat a video showing you how and the relevant tips. It took him about 45 minutes to put together and we went on to have our fist BBQ tonight. Thank you for taking the time to put this video together.
I would have never been able to do this without you
Very good Riverside. I assembled ours moments ago and discovered on my own that the pinch locks had to be inserted into the poles first and not the kettle bottom. Hard to believe Weber overlooked this proper instruction. You created the most thorough assembly video for this grill on RUclips. Cheers!
I followed the Weber instructions and had no problems. Weber didn't "overlook" anything; it's just a different way of doing it. The (slight) risk of doing it the way it's done in this video is losing the clips inside the legs where they'd be out of reach. Doing it Weber's way may be a little more difficult, but it's risk free.
Thank you so much! Santa just brought mine.
thank you for the video, Just bought one of those and it really helped me! saved lot of time
So so useful thank you assembled perfectly! The legs I found with weber are fiddly! Especially getting the pins in the holes!
This YT-Video should be mentioned in the Weber manual.
Very good tutorial.

This was super helpful as Weber's instructions are very confusing. Had to rewind multiple times since you moved fast & the camera couldn't keep up with the right angles. Thank you!
Extremely helpful. Put my bbq together using this video.
The new instructions thankfully tell you to put the pins in the legs first. I still found them really tough to get into the holes. A little too much force - but I suppose it's in for good.
Thanks for posting this video. Using the Weber instructions I don’t know if I could have ever completed the assembly.
Used this video to set up my 57cm kettle.not the masterouch as shown.perfect instructions.thanks.
a very good video build my new weber kettle master touch in 15 mins !! lovely bbq i prefer it way more then the gas grills
I bought my Master~ Touch yesterday & just finished putting it together! I ordered my meat thermometer today ! I'm sure I added 10 views on your video...great job!!!!
Wish my Weber Master-Touch could have been assembled this nicely. One of the legs did not go in all the way and click. I followed the Weber instruction manual to the letter. The nut and bolt that attaches the lid holder to the lower body of the grill had a manufacturing defect and would not tighten beyond the first two turns. It's a lot of time and expense to get that far along just to have these kinds of problems.
Thank you. So much better than an instruction manual.
Great video thanks. The problem I encountered was on stage 6 at 5:35 - the fit was so tight on one of the poles. I had to apply light grease and a lot of twisting to resolve!
Very good video. It's also very important to orientate the handle(to wheel the unit around) with the wheel configuration. The other item I found confusing was that the tabs on the ash catcher system go OUTSIDE the wheel well holes.
Thanks for posting this…..I’ve got mine coming July 3rd…
I put mine together with the help of these videos. The instructions that come with it are useless. Just pictures. It also does not list parts and their sizes so if you loose one it is impossible to buy a replacement part especially if you never did one before and don’t know what you are talking about when you go into a hardware store. It is finally together, have two pieces left over and know exactly where they belong but refuse to take it apart to put them in. Looks beautiful and can’t wait for for good weather to cook on it.
You make it look easy love!! XOXO from America Thank you
Great vid - how about a cleaning / maintenance vid to keep master touch / Q bbqs in top condition??
"you can't put this on wrong"

I have to say I would never have managed to build this from the book. Thank you for a great video!
Deb
Same here.
Thank you! Great help😄
great video , clear and concise , thanks
Great video. Weber should link to it directly, agree with other commenters
Excellent video! Though I am still having trouble with 2 of the legs.
This was very helpful. Thank you
How did you actually put this together without one swear word! 🤬😁 Still, I wouldn’t have put it together without watching this video, so thank you
Easier to follow the manual. He made it harder by installing all the legs.
thanks very much Russell, very informative, mine arriving to day, so this is really usefull.
Thanks, great video. Mine didn't have any instructions!
Excellent video. Weber should change their assembly instructions to follow the sequence on steps you demonstrate!!!!!
Great video, very helpful!
💪🏾 this video was a great help I appreciate it barbecue brother👍
Bonjour, merci bien. C’est très pratique!
Wonderful video Thank you.
Some good tips on here thankyou. It seems you put the clips in the legs upside down, also it was hard to see where the ash cover clipped into the legs at the bottom of the bbq, the thin tabs at the bottom of the catcher slip into a thin slot on the inside of the leg slots near the base of the bbq.I also had ti use a spray of silicone to get the legs into the holes because they were very tight.
Thankyou
You save my life!!!
I WISH mine went together that easy. Inserting the legs took me a hour. I had to sand down the inside of the holders and jiggle it around. There a bump thats sloped inside, and the further you push, the more steep the bump. Also, my nuts stopped where the outer plane was flush with the screw. Came here to see what you did, but yours fits no problem
Very helpful!
Great video, but the clip trick did not work well for me; the clip just clicked into the poles instead of out through the holes. I followed the instructions instead and it almost worked like a charm. Sometimes I needed to help the peg find it's way out. That said, this video was a lot less confusing than the instructions. Many thanks!
5:38 ok this here is where I am stuck. The wheel legs are just too wide and won’t go in the holes on the grill… I have tried everything including trying to scrape off whatever paint is in the area. No luck for days.
good points with the legs !!!....weird they dont do the same in the manual ,but no complains it took me less than 30 mins from the car to ready to use ..i cut my finger though hehe ,but best Investment i ever done
Thanks, great help!
Well done & thank you!
I think my legs were misaligned. The clips going in the leg and then in the post doesn’t work that easily. It took me so long to get the clips in
Thanks somuch!!
great video thanks a million!
отличное видео!
Very helpful Thank You.
Clips will not snap into the holes when installing the legs. The clip is bottoming out on the grill preventing them from being able to line up with the holes so they can snap into place. Very frustrating.
i have the same problem. how did you solve it?
@@ruofeiliu5992 I just wiggled the legs around a bit until the pins snapped into place. It only took a few seconds per leg. You do have to make sure the leg is rotated so that the hole in the leg is lined up with the hole in the leg holder as you insert it, of course.
@@seikibrian8641 Thanks. I did the same. Just wonder why It is So easy in the video.
@@ruofeiliu5992 He's done it many, many times over the years. Practice makes perfect.
I have a question? Will the The Weber Char-Baskets fit the 14" Weber Smokey Joe? Love your videos. Thanks
I TRIED to put mine together, and did it wrong and have to take off the wheels off the bar (I bought new hubs) but can’t get the hubs off. Any suggestions how?
Hmm my Master Touch manual indicated to put the pins on the legs rather than on the bottom of the grill. Maybe they took a tip from this video.
Dankeschön 👍👍
Thumb up
Question: can you use Fogo premium charcoal in that Weber grill?
You can use any kind of lumpwood charcoal or briquettes on these barbecues.
@@RiversideGarden1 ok bc i was just worried the lump charcoal would tear up the inside of my Weber master touch.
Good manual! At 7:22 i see you easily put that screw! I can't do it! I dont know why but the screw looks bigger ... is it something i do wrong?
On mine (USA market) that bolt had a different sized nut than the upper ones for the lid holder. Instead of using the Weber plastic wrench/spanner for that one, I used a 7/16 socket wrench.
@@seikibrian8641 i will try that instead. Thanks.
I see the 3 knife, but is a kit to buy separate or its just inside?
This is available separately, the product code is 7444
Hmm 5:51 mine didn’t go in perfect infact as a pushed the clips in, they stayed in
how did you solve it?i have the same problem.
@@ruofeiliu5992 me too! I just couldn't make it work.
Whats better grill > Master Touch vs Kettle ?
The Master Touch IS a kettle. If you are comparing the Master Touch with the Original Kettle Premium, the main difference is that the vent covers have a heat shield on Master Touch, and the Original Kettle Premium just has a bent metal tab. Also the Master Touch comes with the "GBS" (Gourmet BBQ System) grill grate and warming rack, and a lid holder. Unlike the Master Touch and the Original Kettle Premium, the Original Kettle doesn't have the removable, high-capacity, aluminum ash catcher; it just has an ash pan. Whether any of those features are important to you for the extra money would determine which is "better" for you. (I went with the Master Touch.)
Here's a link to the Weber site where you can compare the different models: www.weber.com/US/en/grills/charcoal-grills/
What is the blue and black one behind you please
Hi Ann - this is a very old, now discontinued, colour mastertouch with a rotisserie.
7:15 does anyone has a problem with the locking nuts???
hey Mate you installed the bottom grate upside down according to instruction illustration
hook should face the ground, not up
Блядь, что с фокусом??!
