i already got my license but keep coming back to these vids. i passed on my 3rd try so dont give up yall. watching these vids is not enough, remember: A LOT of practice!!
Very good examiner 👏 He was calm, professional, and seemed like he meant the best for the driver, as he should be. I've been watching too many Karen examiner videos so this is refreshing to see 😊 Kudos to the driver as well; I'm sure he will pass the second time!
I just passed my road test like a week ago but I am still watching these videos haha. For all of you that have not taken the test yet and are going to be taking it soon, I wish you all the best of luck.
I passed mine one week ago! I recommend practicing driving around and possibly asking people the route of the test so you can practice it. Ask someone to help you parallel park beforehand bc it’s easier once you do it a couple of times. If the stop sign is too far back to where you cant see the road stop twice to be safe. Exaggerate everything you do, especially with checking your mirrors every 15 seconds at least. Slow down and do your signals quite a bit away from an intersection. Good luck and I hope my advice helps!!!
Just took the test and passed with 100%. I watched so many of these videos and they helped a lot!! Thank you 👏😔 Yall can do it! It's easier than it looks, just dont get nervous.
My test is in a few hours wish me luck 🤞🏻(update) I passed super easy no need to stress anyone who sees this you got it! Stay calm and don’t stress you’ll do great!
When I pulled forward very slowly to get more visibility just like this driver did at 7:09, this examiner told me in a very calm way to 'stop'. I got confused and told her that I needed visibility and I didn't intent to cross at all, and she replied that 'she couldn't possibly divine' my intentions. I took my losses that day and I realized this could be just a hit or miss scenario. Some examiners may be happy or even encouraging with you performing it, while others may actually want the whole intersection to be empty before you could even perform the visibility-enhancing maneuver from 7:09, or risk getting your test failed.
This was done in Pasadena dmv. If you get someone by the name of renee just cancel your appointment and schedule another one elsewhere. He fails everyone the first time. All my friends and coworkers had him and they all failed, some went to Glendale and El Monte and passed.
I took my driving exam twice about three years ago and failed both times due to critical errors. I was always too nervous to get back on the road and try again, but I knew at some point I would have to. After three years, I finally gained the confident to try again and now my driving exam is schedule for this friday. I've practiced so much, watched so many youtube videos and read articles about driving and even hired an instructor. While I feel ready, I am still praying that the test runs smoothly and I actually pass this time. Wish me luck🥺
My DMV test is in June 30th! Hope I and anyone testing on that day will pass! Edit: I surprisingly passed! Even though I made 11 minor errors, I kept going despite thinking I already failed. I hit the bump too hard and me and my instructor shot up our seats. Stay calm, over-exaggerate looking at mirrors and traffic intersections (left and right), and keep a positive attitude even if you make a noticeable mistake!
I failed my test today. I was cut-off by a car & then it stopped right infront of me. I was too close to that car & my instructor feared for her life lmao. She was frustrated & was intervening that made me more nervous. Rest I did good in all driving maneuvers. I am disappointed, I don't blame anyone, situations happens. I Gotta practice more & hope I will pass. Yay! I passed!
We failed on the same day 😓. Mine was because I went too slow for a little bit and also because I didn’t look behind me when merging into the turn lanes. It’s okay we will get it again!!
Failing sucks but think of it more like a learning opportunity. Practice everything the instructor told you so you can kick the test’s ass your second time!
So I took my first road test February 3rd of 2022 and failed bc it was sooooo rainy that day and my nerves took over me MOREEEE due to the weather. My first time instructor was also so dull and mean looking. However, I failed bc I ran through a stop sign just awful and an automatic fail. I panicked. However, I took that and built myself up again and told myself it’s okay you have the next one and I did. I passed my road test on the second try February 25th of 2022 and I also had a super duper nice instructor who was so motivating and positive. I feel like ppl don’t understand how having a nice driving instructor actually aids you into doing better as well. I was so grateful to have a nicer instructor my second time and I definitely performed way better and she even carried a little conversation with me throughout the drive. I just wanna tell ppl tho that even if you aren’t blessed with a nice instructor I learned that we still have to come through and stay true to ourselves and really just listen to everything they say. And when it’s time to do the parking just copy and repeat everything you learned prior nothing less nothing more. Good luck to everyone taking it 🤍
I passed my road test exactly a month ago but I still keeps watching videos like this to improve my driving skills. Though, Im still nervous merging on the highway and changing lanes.
I passed the test first try. Although when going to the dmv I made so many mistakes, but during the exam I was much more alert and extra careful to follow all the needed steps. I still need to learn to park lol as it was not part of the test.
Passed my test last Tuesday! I wish everyone out there a successful test and you don’t need luck because you all are going to do great! Manifest your license into existence! If you have any questions feel free to comment I’d be happy to help! Biggest advice I could give even though it’s easier said then done, is to try and remain calm and as relaxed as possible and show how attentive you are to your surroundings by constantly checking mirrors and signaling that’s super important.
He didn’t pass but the instructor was nice about it and told him what he needs to work on that’s what I like about this examiner he wasn’t bitching about it he was very understanding and he let it slide the first time but yes jay ikemen is right you need to proceed with caution and look left right before merging out onto the road because you don’t know what car to be coming around the corner and hit u
I took my test last week in Pasadena with the same examiner (had to take a vision test that required me to go on the freeway) and I passed….just breathe relax and you’ll be fine you got this ;)
I feel so bad for him because I was in that same situation. I took my road skills test for the first time back in March this year and I failed because I rolled over one cone. But finally this past Wednesday I went to take it again and I PASSED!!!
Had mines a week ago today in Binghamton. Parallel parking and 3 point turn then about 4 left turn and it was done. Took less than 5 minutes. Glad I passed on the first try. Going first really helps as the examiners are not yet frustrated with the other testers, lol Keep the videos coming
I don't judge people by these tests anymore. All it takes for one examiner to fail you is to call a simple error a critical error. That's all. Only a computerized simulation can give people an objective result of their performance.
😩 hope I pass but I’m not even nervous honestly and I didn’t even practice every day. It was every other day I practiced but I got this and so does every one else. 👌🏾 Update: I PASSEDDD!!! Ugh I was stressing!
You'll do well. You don't have to practice everyday. It's how well you grasp what you've learned and remember to apply it on that day. Show the examiner you are a confident driver. Just breathe in and relax. Nice, smooth and confident turns. Smooth braking. Be alert. Do Mirror, signal, shoulder check before you make a turn, change lanes or pull out. Stop before stop line for pedestrians and again for traffic. Proceed cautiously at intersections. You got this.
At least he was clear about why he didn’t pass the test. My wife took her drivers test and they didn’t even really tell her why she failed they just told her she made a hazardous maneuver and she was so shocked that she didn’t ask why.
I totally bombed the first test. A total of 18 points deduction. Didn’t stop behind most stop lines, made a some unnecessary stops and went over the speed limit of 25mph. Also this is my DMV and this is the exact route I took for my first exam. Right now I’m waiting to take it again in a few hours. Fingers crossed.
@@toxic2421 YES!! I passed!!! Went to practice with same route just in case. And then I got a different examiner (Rick, can't remember the other one's name who failed me, its the same one on this video I recognize the voice), thought it was going to be the same route and it was not. Suffice to say it was 10 times easier than the previous guy. I compare the papers the previous guy circle every single item which means he evaluates every single thing on it. This time I only got half of it. And I passed with only 5 mistakes. This channel says that the examiner wants to pass you. I seriously doubt that with the last guy, I doubt that he can pass anyone under that kind of scrutiny. After we finished the test the last time, he even said, I can see you can drive (I've been driving for 24 years, but in another country) but I'm still going to failed you for minute details like stopping too close to the stop sign limit, which I tend to park just before my front wheels, I know it's a bad habit, or pass over 3 to 4 miles (28~29mph instead of 25mph) If I would had known I would just put it on manual and put it on 1st gear. But then again he might say you are going too slow and you are obstructing the traffic. In short if you ever go to test in Pasadena DMV and your examiner is a chobby tall guy (he might be Hispanic or Asian can't tell with the mask on) either way be extra careful with this guy. [edit] Forgot to mention, I saw the chobby examiner step out of another car while I was waiting for my turn, he got inside of the DMV and the other car just drove off. That means he failed the other driver too, otherwise the other drive would have to get inside the DMV window 24 to continue the paperwork. Like someone on this comment said, don't go here, go to El Monte DMV, very light traffic just mind the school zone and Lower Azuza rd for traffic.
@@kaede15 same exact guy failed me. Makes anyone uncomfortable. Mind me, I’ve been driving since I was 15 just on a different state. I’m 24 almost 25 and he marked me down for almost 20 something mistakes. I passed yesterday at a different DMV but this asian guy ir whatever truly has a problem.
My test is tomorrow at 11:30am… they’re forcing me to use a car that’s not even mine so idk how it’ll feel. I’ll update after I take it. UPDATE: I passed! The instructor was chill and we just talked about life…. Got a 96
i took my test today and passed with only 2 errors my first try!! watching these vids were super helpful for easing my anxiety so i know what to expect but my biggest advice is to practice a lot before your test because you need to be confident. my test was only 10 minutes and i think it was because the examiner could tell im an experienced driver. good luck to everyone taking their test!
For the people who are waiting to take the driving test good luck. Don’t let your nerves get the best of you. Just focus on the instructions the examiner gives and focus on your driving.
ahh idk why i’m still watching these vids, it’s rlly satisfying to watch people drive ngl lol. but i passed my test for the first attempt on june 10! and now have my license. so relieving when you hear the words “congratulations”.
Good luck 🍀. Just remember that on driving tests, yellow lights are the same as red lights. Try not to drive through the intersection on a yellow, unless you really need to, but anyways, you got this 🤙🏽
I failed. The instructor was more excited than me, and intervened with no reason. He told me to change lanes, I gave the signal but I saw the car right next to me, but the instructor jumped to the wheel. I had the same situation second time, he kept saying more left, left. Then I said to him there is car next to me, how can I move left? Big fail. I hope next time I get a calmer instructor.
@@MsCalcioo dang well it’s all good I failed my first time too, when I was reversing out of a parking spot I cut too early and my mirror hit the cone, but next time i passed with ease because the instructor was chill and I was relaxed
My test is tomorrow, and I've practiced 50 hours. I'm very confident in my driving ability but the evaluation guy at our local DMV is said to be very mean and fails almost everyone for petty reasons. So I am nervous about passing if I end up with that evaluator Update: I did get that evaluator, but luckily I passed :)
I passed my drivers license test!! 😭 got marked many times for driving slow though so make sure to actually drive the speed limit!! And look at traffic even tho ur lights green 😥
I don't blame this kid for being nervous. I know a lot of friends who took their driving test at this exact same DMV, Pasadena, and every single one failed. It's notoriously hard, I don't know if this is the same examiner they got but I remember them saying that their examiner was rude and just made students more nervous. A lot of them also said that they got marked off for every traffic check despite checking both ways each time. If you live in this area, I highly suggest to take your driving test somewhere else. Pasadena DMV has an abysmal low pass rate, both because of strict examiners and more crowded streets making for harder driving situations. Places like Rancho, Whittier, El Monte, are much better places to take your driving test. If you take it in Pasadena, especially for your first time, it's highly likely you'll fail because the place just turns you into a ball of nerves. Highly recommend taking it at El Monte, or if you're willing to make the distance, the streets in Rancho are really wide and empty making it an easier place.
I wish I had someone from northern VA giving me this kind of advice!! I'm taking mine July 23 at Around 8 to 9 am. It's the only time they had. Wish me luck and thank you for helping people out you're amazing 👏 ❤
Been waiting since April when I scheduled my test. I hate I had to wait so long! But now it's here and I'm prepared. I'm gonna be me and just relax. I've got this
Almost the same reason why I failed. I did stop before the stop sign checked both sides and didn't see any car coming but then when I turned a car appeared out of nowhere and it had to slow down. I wish I drove slowly to get a good view and then turned.
My test date was March 3rd of 2020. I passed it first time. It was so easy. The only things I got docked on was being too far away from the curb on the parallel and I made a couple turns a little wide.
I passed my test today without any deductions the examiner was so happy 😀 I wish I could send you the test marking sheet or even if I can upload it here I did my test in concord CA everyone told me its tricky in concord but I trusted my gut and didn’t change the location thank god 🙏 awesome feeling
I know this is late, but i'm 23 and im trusting my friends to do my test in Vacaville, CA. everyone says its easy out there, i live near brentwood, in Bethel Island, but I decided against pittsburg and Stockton as places to take my test. Hope I'm as lucky as you, my test is in 2 weeks. cheers and happy to hear you passed, friend!
So true. These instructors are the same people that would go 60+ mph over the speed limit of 45 and definitely would never do a complete stop at a stop sign lmao. I’ve even seen them myself when they pull into the dmv to clock in. 😂
Took my test years ago now but I remember failing the first two times. Failed the first test by failure to parallel park without hitting a cone and accidentally blew through a stop (it was obstructed by a bush, cheeky.) And I got a deduction for not turning on my wipers as soon as rain hit my windshield. Second time, failed to wait for traffic backing out and immediately failed lol. But I passed the third time and was beaming on my first license photo.
I have my test today, nervous but praying and hoping that I pass! update: ended up passing!! Got a couple deductions but other than that everything went pretty smoothly. Thank God my examiner was really chill.
I’m just practicing with instructor. Costing me tones of money. He recommended me to take the test. To practicing me takes test while on test. I don’t dare Ave won’t go for the test if I’m not feel fully certain I’ll pay the test. I wonder what your opinion is. Thanks. ❤
Took mine at this location awhile back. I failed but it was my fault I struck the side walk in the reversing portion of the test.. besides that my instructor was chill. Wish me luck I'll be returning to this location!
I passed mine today 🤓. I drove by the small residential streets first, watched out for kids on bicycles ,movers, stopped on every intersection with signal lights left/right. On 4way stop signs and on 2 ways I stopped, slowly moved, checked and drove. Gotta pay attention on that. Don't be shy to ask if you can turn right on red, if there is no sign safely check and turn on the same line. Good luck everyone!
Hate when they don't give you advance notice of a turn. Like, after this turn right. Nahhh mine was, okay now turn here and I'm literally not even prepared to turn. Like I'm going 45 and I don't have enough leeway to slow down and make this turn.
Passed my test on the 10th! Wish I could've recorded it as much of the test was not done, I didn't have to do lane changes, or the reversing portion (though I can do both) I just had to do intersections over and over.
I passed mine with ease just watching these for fun at this point goodluck to everyone tho it’s pretty simple i only made 1 mistake and it was really minor just single for 3 point turn
It’s 12:06 right now I have my test in norco California at 3:20 I think I’ve watched this video about 3 times SUPER nervous everyone tells me I’m a great driver but I know nerves will come into play once I have a person next to me judging my every move
I'm from the Philippines and I'm learning so much on your videos. Driving here is crazy and I like to take a knowledge from your videos. One day, I'm gonna take that DMV test too. Thanks a lot.
I have failed my driving test the first attempt last year in August of 2021 and now after 7 months of improving my driving hopefully I am capable enough for passing my driving test on the second attempt around February of 2022.

Forgot to mention, I saw the chobby examiner step out of another car while I was waiting for my turn, he got inside of the DMV and the other car just drove off.
I just passed on the first try and watching people's mistakes shows their confidence and ability level
Just passed the written test my first try!!! Now on to the driving portion 👍🏼👍🏼

Passed my test today! Im so glad i had a very nice examiner. Also passed with no faults.
Great job!
i took my test today and passed with only 2 errors my first try!! watching these vids were super helpful for easing my anxiety so i know what to expect but my biggest advice is to practice a lot before your test because you need to be confident. my test was only 10 minutes and i think it was because the examiner could tell im an experienced driver. good luck to everyone taking their test!
Great job! Yes - these vids will help with prep and anxiety, but practice will make you a better driver - Well done!
For the people who are waiting to take the driving test good luck. Don’t let your nerves get the best of you. Just focus on the instructions the examiner gives and focus on your driving.

Cmon man it’s literally common sense , just drive like an old lady who’s super paranoid about every stop sign that’s what I did and I passed lol
I love ❤️ it. I am an old lady I am going to try that
November 17, litle bit anxious but these videos definitely helped me improving myself.
Good luck 🍀. Just remember that on driving tests, yellow lights are the same as red lights. Try not to drive through the intersection on a yellow, unless you really need to, but anyways, you got this 🤙🏽
did u get it?
@@jonathanroop5230 It was postponed to 25 nov. I got to practice more.
So I am nervous about passing if I end up with that evaluator
Update: I did get that evaluator, but luckily I passed :)
My driving test is this Thursday! I'm praying to god I pass the first time. I want my driver's license so bad and have been practicing for months.
Good luck!!
As long as you practice you should be okay. I would practice a bit before the test just in case good luck!

Passes my test today it was super easy
What did they asked you to do?
I've got this
@@IDrawToothpicks You got this! Taking mine July 19, I've failed 3 times so :( hopefully this one works out

Oh man are you fr?? This is the exact dmv i practiced in and have to go to tomorrow for my test 😭... Bruhh now im really scared
Almost the same reason why I failed. I did stop before the stop sign checked both sides and didn't see any car coming but then when I turned a car appeared out of nowhere and it had to slow down. I wish I drove slowly to get a good view and then turned.
going to be taking the driving test tomorrow at the exact same DMV in Pasadena! Wish me luck

all of those text lines on the screen had me lookin around my room checkin my blind spot n shit like i was the one driving lmaooooo
Funny thing is, these instructions be breaking the rules when they drive by themselves😭😭😭😭
Fr
Good luck!

Good luck! You can do it
My test is on friday im a bit nervous but I wish the rest of you luck!

I passed too 😄
@@justanotherpotato5523 Nice :)
I passed my test today! Thanks to this video i learned a lot
Just passed today, big relief
