Hi Omid, i hope you are doing very well. Today i have done my driving test and you'll be happy to know that i have passed my test. I had only one minor error which was not keeping enough distance with the following car on the main road. I am really grateful to you for giving me the opportunities for two mock tests. Those helped me to detect some driving errors and i fixed those later which helped me to pass my driving test. I appreciate your work!
@shawonbarua763 Hi Shawon, You're welcome. This is great news. Congratulations 🥳 🌹. I was quite sure that you'll pass. It was a pleasure meeting you and doing these recorded mock tests. Safe drive forever and take care 🙂🌹
Hi Omid, I have seen a couple of your videos and wanted to thank you for the detailed analysis you provided with your students during the driving practice. It has helped me understand the small details they look for during a driving test. My practice sessions with my local instructor and your videos helped me pass my driving test, at first go, recently. Thank you once again :) - Aditya
Hi Omid, I’ve recently watched plenty of your mock driving lesson videos and have learned a lot from you and just recently I have actually passed my test so I’d like to thank you for all your amazing tips and tricks!
Hi, Omid hope you are well. I have seen most of your videos and that is really helpful for my driving test. Though i have converted my overseas license from NSW. Many Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
As I think I've said in the comments of one of your other videos, I'm currently teaching my 16yo daughter to drive (she's done 58 hours so far). These videos are very helpful to me in doing this! Today I learned that you should do an MS check when a left lane ends and merges with your lane. I'll get her to do that next time we're in that situation. I'll also advise her to be careful at road works and not exceed 40 if there's no "End of Road Works" sign. Keep up the good work Omid!
Yeah, I remember you mentioned about teaching your daughter, Ben. I'm really glad to hear these videos are helpful for both learners and their parents. Thank you for your support and encouragement, Ben 🙏 🙂
Under safe conditions, usually 5 under the speed limit is acceptable. For example, in a 60 zone, something between 55 and 59 is recommended. Anything under that is considered a driving error (again under safe conditions, that's where the road is nice and wide, not so hilly, fairly straight, no traffic congestions, no rain, no sharp bends, not many parked cars on the sides, no roadworks etc.)
Hey I got a question in your driving test what if you don’t know the speed can you ask them what the speed it’s or your not allowed to ask them that and when changing lanes and a car won’t let you in what do you do in that situation?
Hey there, 1. You can't ask the examiner what the speed limit is. If you don't know the speed limit, assume it's 50. This video explains this in more detail: ruclips.net/video/M--KdV25gSc/видео.htmlsi=ye9tkr_7TRLcBy6z 2. If other cars don't let you change lanes, you need to slow down, let them pass, and then change lanes behind them
In 31:25, he changed lane because its better to be in left lane if you don’t have any intention to overtake other vehicles & let other vehicles over take you. Its not a bad habit rather its a good one.
There is nothing wrong with driving in the right lane. The right lane in urban areas is not the overtaking lane (in highways, it is). If you plan to turn right down the road, you must be in the right lane. Cars can overtake you from the left lane. As I mentioned in the video, that's not a markdown. Mistakes usually happen when people change directions, so in a driving test situation, it's best to avoid unnecessary change of direction.
7:44 when you started mentioning about roadwork signs to not be placed properly, this can't be just end of road works, the start of roadworks zone can be misplaced too. Was in a driving situation as passeneger where the vehicle was turning right at traffic lights. The normal speed limit in the road is 70 km/h, but the roadworks reduced it to either 60 or 40 km/h. The start of roadworks sign was present on the road, but not at the traffic lights turning right. This is wrong and a common cause for drivers to commit speeding unintentionally sadly. I think the best approach for start of roadwork signs is to assume the types of roadworks speed limit present. In my personal approach, I would treat roads maximum of 70 km/h normally to assume the roadworks limit is 40 km/h. Rural areas either 60 to 80 km/h. If you reply to this, please let me know what I can do better instead when approaching this kind of situation. I always do my best to obey the traffic rules while driving (nobody is perfect to obey all traffic rules and we all unintentionally disobey them occasionally).
The roadworks speed varies everywhere depending on the situation. In built-up areas, it is usually 40 (it's written on the sign if otherwise). And yes, in highways, sometimes it can be even 80. If you unintentionally don't follow the roadworks speed limit due to poor signage placement, that's not your fault.
I recall, my instructor told me at the end that I turned on high beam before we left from the parking test site until the very end. They still let me pass, the error was not part of the guideline grading. :D
I noticed he did a shoulder check when turning right with a raised concrete median strip to the right (36:25) - I don't think one is necessary in that situation, is it? 🤔
Give Way signs are placed in areas where visibility is reasonably clear. They help keep traffic flowing by allowing drivers to give way without coming to a full stop when it’s safe.

Another great video, Omid. Quick question - When under safe conditions, how much below the speed limit will result in a minor markdown?

@@jelu7506 well the instructor cant say anything during the test or its a fail if they intervene. i just thought and just thanked of his patience
@ fair enough good job for getting your licence!
Do you need to do a shoulder check together with a mirror check?
When it comes to leaving the curb and changing lanes, absolutely.
II depends on what situation you're taking about
I noticed he did a shoulder check when turning right with a raised concrete median strip to the right (36:25) - I don't think one is necessary in that situation, is it? 🤔
@@bencodykirk very much so since that right turn lane just started and he ended up shoulder checking on an island haha
@@AyyItsRoboProductions The way some people drive, might not be a bad idea 😂
I have an appointment on 10 December I hope I can pass my test I have stress
I have my text next week and I’m so scared!
As I think give way sign unnecessary bcz stop sign also same they instead of they use stop sign it's good
