Aye, definitely Hawker Hurricanes, as opposed to Supermarine Spitfires. As I recall, the Hurricane was actually more of a presence, in terms of sheer numbers during the Battle Of Britain. Wasn't quite as agile as the Spitfire, but still a good combat aircraft for the time. Especially in the hands of well trained pilots, committed to the defence of Britain.
Spitfires are more suited for dog fighting and hurricanes were better suited for bomber interceptions and maybe a little dog fighting if they outnumber the enemy

I’m confused to what the target audience for this game is. People interested in WWII era are usually dudes in their 30+ and this cutesy building sim feels definitely off the mark. They should’ve made proper airbase sim with military command focus where you send pilots on missions, do strategy. Such a great idea, instead it looks like the Sims WWII dlc.
Seen a couple of commenters point this out now, and feel i must clear it up but for anyone about to point out that "their is a black woman in the title screen" i would like to assure you that 1) that is a BRITISH uniform not a German one (the German is on the left) 2) we let black woman into our armed forces even back then, we have had a mixed race forces for a long time This is not the error you think it is and seem to be getting a giggle out of pointing out
"We had a mixed race forces for a long time" it was in october 1939, where women were already a minority, let alone black women (and this without taking in mind they were just auxiliary units). And when it comes to nowadays with forced inclusivity, it's extremely hard not to think as such.
They didnt ...but 1) thats not a Army uniform, its an Air Force uniform 2) its NOT a German uniform, its a British uniform ....and i assure you that WE DID have woman of colour in the RAF
I am sure they would run if they did find bears in those woods ....you know, since bears dont live here in Britain And the ones that do either eat Marmalade Sandwidges or copious amounts of Honey (or Hunny, as he calls it) 😂
This is just a standard RTS game that is using a WW2 setting as a backdrop. It's effectively just another clone of games like age of empires and command and conquer.
RTS games generally don't have resources that gradually deteriorate when not hauled into a storage building and generally don't try to simulate the daily lives of base personnel. This is far closer to the likes of Rimworld or Dwarf Fortress

The Spitfires took on the 109's while the Hurricanes went after the bombers.

Just started the video and I'd love to see a sequel/level/dlc where they do the Cactus Air Force/Henderson Field/Guadalcanal.
