You'd think if one saw an angry face over someone in the base one would look at it and go "Huh, why are they angry?" and realise "Oh, I forgot to build an exit door!"
I cannot explain how much i was just looking at the guy stuck inside the kitchen that has no door and thinking surely you must realize whats happening at somepoint.
Game: "This pile of tarp will degrade 20% faster because it's exposed to the sky" Also Game: "This pile of tarp underneath the tarp roof is indoors and thus won't degrade as fast."
I think the joke is that a tarp sitting in open storage, exposed to the sky, degrades, while a tarp stretched across some roof trusses, exposed to the sky, lasts forever? Or longer at least. They’re both exposed to the same elements.
Grafting a farming/village builder game onto WW2 is weird as what RAF base had to forge its own metal and run a sawmill? Better to have to manage deliveries of raw materials and build the base. Also, almost all fighter airfield were grass, not dirt. Only bombers need concrete.
Excellent concept for a game. Very similar to bomber crew & prison architect. I think your comments at the end are harsh. You didn’t seem to understand a lot of the basic mechanics and were guessing your way through progression- but it is a demo and a first play through so that’s understandable. Looking forward to seeing where this game goes.

I like your videos. But I feel like you need to pay a bit more attention to what’s going on instead of trying to rush through the games for the sake of minimal editing. You had the task priority set poorly, no morale, no food, trapped people and then half started playing with the runway so people couldn’t land or take off. And then calling the demo bugged. It’s been a bit of a trend in a few videos lately . Slow it down a bit and get your head around what’s going on. Will make the viewing experience a lot more enjoyable
Friendly criticism: I enjoy the content and the details, but re-watch this video and notice how many times you repeat the thing you just said. It is really bad. Again, hope this helps on your rise to a large game reviewing force.
Typical chAir Force (well army air corp) when building a base, build the golf course 1st, then the fancy housing and barracks, run out of money and ask uncle sam for more to build the run way. LOL PS im US Navy so i can pick on my spoiled little sibling the chAir Force
I had high expectations for this game based on the video in the Steam Store, the tags and the description. While I understand it is still in Alpha 2 and early in development, the current foundation feels lacking in uniqueness. As it stands, there is nothing distinctive about the game, and it is quite boring. If this is indicative of the final release, I will likely pass on it. There is nothing strategic about the game. The ability to plop down buildings in random locations and at random sizes doesn't qualify as a city builder or a base builder. The game's listing as a WWII remote airbase builder is misleading. Besides the plane names and models, there is nothing that truly evokes the WWII era. this is slightly better than a mobile game. If it sells at full release or early access for more than $20, I would be upset.
I wish these indie devs would somehow find a way to hire more competent artists for the game's art, as this generic, pasty cartoon style is overused and often not tonally adequate, as it is the case here. Also, I could not help but notice the black woman officer in the menu art, which is just not realistic, considering the era and the conflict (female officers weren't even a thing, and blacks didn't even have full political rights in the USA -- they were just press ganged into WW2 as footsoldiers and cannon fodder)
The game is clearly of the UK and not America which you obviously think everything is about, the RAF employed many women and women officers and didnt care about the colour of the skin (also seems weird that youd say colour mattered when the Yanks had many Black Pilots.)
@@WilkyTheFlyingScotsman Color actually did matter considering segregation existed at home and blacks didn't enjoy full political rights in the USA, thus their draft being unethical if not outright evil, as their lives and limbs were being forcefully taken from them to fight a war which wasn't theirs. And not even in the commonwealth were there any black women officers making any decisions btw All of this circus is just immersion breaking. No game from before 2015 would falsify history like this for the sake of, huh, I-don't-even-know-what, and we all know this is part of an yasssified trend of today lol

That's how it is in real life.. Tarp that's exposed degrades faster than tarp that isn't exposed.

This is most unrealistic, theres no way you’d get an air crew doing manual labour. Thats what the peasants are for!
@@python27au Duh, now I get it!
@@python27au I didn't realise the stored tarp was also exposed..
that guy stuck inside the indoor kitchen let me out i want to be part of the birtday
Ground crew are going to love crossing the active runway everytime they need to service all the base's aircraft
Some say he’s still trapped in the tarp tent to this day
I like how there is a prebuilt runway... and you don't use it XD
Man, that's cool! Like "Going Medieval", but modern military. Nice!
ye i agree
that is one scary runway.. right into the woods

I’ve been looking forward to this game for SO long
I was shouting for about half the video about the pilot trapped in the damn food room
Very fun looking builder.
Try manor Lords. Great game
not naming this ace of base is a missed opportunity...
Actually lol’d
No door in the indoor kitchen building...
No sex in the champagne room
This is usually why I click off these videos in the first 5 mins

this game looks as buggy as heck, you'd think with the percentages he got he should have got a success on one mission.
Never seen you before and you pronounce Geoffrey wrong calling the npc joffrey when Geoffrey is a different way to spell Jeffrey
Wilson Daniel Thompson Matthew Jackson Daniel
Will be a good game bot now is buggy AF
"Geoffrey" is an alternative spelling of "Jeffrey" and it is pronounced the same - "Jeffrey".
No it is not pronounced the same, regards a Brit
Yes it is. What are you talking about? I am also British btw
i do know Geoff is pronounced Jeff, but ive always heard Geoffrey as Joff-rey. :/
Pls turn the sensitivity down on your mic, every swallow I don't need to hear.
Yes, all those brave black women who fought in WW2.. 🙄
dude seriously pay attention to what your doing, your indoor kitchen need a freaking door for god sake
Sigh, I hate how things are injected into every orifice of gaming these days.
lol Redacted. really no reason to read that

America wasn't the only nation fighting in that war. Commonwealth nations had slightly more progressive standards. Also a weird hill to die on.
