@@TXIIILightning Thank you so much! We merged our favourite Genres into one and made the game we always dreamed of. Fun Fact: There was a Deckbuilding Mechanic in the early Versions of the Game too, they are now redesigned to be Herospells :)
orbital potato always brings good videos of new games, the bad thing is that he is not a good player. I think he always made a mistake by prioritizing enemies with high health using the Mortar, when those towers are designed to kill small enemies in swarm that have low health and the only way to kill them is using area damage. Another mistake is not using the sniper or arrow towers to kill large enemies with a lot of defense and health points, using attacks with defense penetration or high critical damage
Maybe it was because of wrong prioritisation, but mortar targeting felt kinda stupid - it fired ahead of the first enemy so far, it didn't cover any other enemies behind the target with it's AoE.
Dev Here! He is playing Nordhold Origins in the Video, it is a Prologue, so kind of a Demo for the Fullgame which comes out in Q1 2025. We gave 1 Week of earlier Access to some Content Creators and Gametesters. Everyone else can start playing August 30th :))
@@biannualstabbing2375 Heya! Actually the Nordhold: Origins Prologue will be released in 2 Days on Steam. Right now only Playtesters and some Influencers have the Chance to play it beforehand. So just a little bit more waiting until you can start defending your Castle!

The banner gives 25% increased damage **and** +1 wood per arrow tower. The amount of damage the tower does (per shot, or in total) has no bearing on the wood. It's just +1 wood per tower.
Dude, i thought you are good at strategy games when you only play strategy, but what is with that poor placement of towers ? How about maximizing coverage of paths ?? Put them in curves, U turns are best for the arc ....
Thank you for playing our Game! We hope you enjoyed it!
Best Game Ive ever played! Easy to lear hard to master! Perfekt Game balance ❤
@@sadMarshallEvery devs dream comment!
I haven't played it yet, but I will! Love the huge amount of meta progression and design of the game!
Best of luck with the game! It looks incredible. I absolutely adore Tower Defense and City Management, it's amazing to see them combined.

I think the wood from the arrow tower upgrade is just a static +1 per tower.
this pained me so hard every time he mentioned it and thought it was per damage....
The same here.
I love Tower Defense games, definitely gonna give this one a try!
OMG this looks like it ticks EVERY BOX I HAVE! I can't wait to play this! Great video thank you!
Thanks for the introduction! Nice Video 💪🏼

@@HYBRID_BEING Well they added a targeting option to aim for the biggest group, which works very nice for mortars.
@@PadaV4 that's good to hear. Still, that targeting mode was really weird - would've made more sense if it fired square at the first enemy.
Like this combo game alot
Interesting 👏
looks interesting
I think the game is call Nordhold. Nordhold origins is a demo of it

Perfect Game, if you have 20-30 mins left.
”Nordhold Origins” seems to basically be a demo for Nordhold, planned release Q1 next year.
Dev here :)
Yes it is a free Version for the Fullgame coming Q1 2025.
@@StunForge Why is the demo suddenly not available. I wanted to check it out and it has a steam page but no download option.

It really sounds like you're saying hwheat instead of wheat 😂 (as in we-eat)

I think if you increase the damage stat of the arrow tower it will increase the output of wood with the banner you have!

In the end it's one reason. Try doing an intelligent running commentary while playing, focus on game drops and the audience screams at their monitors.
