Took me the entire video to grasp what you where conveying but it finally clicked. My current multitool is an s-class and I got it from a space station! Just have to figure out which system it was from and I can begin my multi-tool hunt. Thanks!
The new sentinel multitools released in the latest updates look really cool, have good slots especially when you upgrade them, and are totally free once you find them (you do need to get repair components for them, but they’re mostly simple items you find on dissonant planets anyway.) and Their stats are actually pretty good at base. My B class sentinel multitool was practically maxed out at damage potential with a couple weapon upgrades and weapon mods installed and out classed other A class multis I was coming across. Will have to do more comparisons with some of these other S class gems to get a better perspective though I suppose
I know I'm commenting on an older video. But I do have a question. Has the recent change to the space stations changed your methodology? Now we have 2 cabinets in the space station. Thanks. Also, just wanted to say your presentation and information was excellent. Thanks for spending the time to to do this.
I assume the process is the same, you just now have two "answers" in the space station. Anecdotally, I know the two cabinets in the station can have different classes. Just yesterday I visited a station, one cabinet had a C, the other an A class tool. Assuming that the cabinet native class still holds true, it actually makes the station an even better first choice to check since you now have double the chances to find an A/S class cabinet!
Thanks dude, at first, I was a little lost, but then, as you kept adding more information, the prices fell into place, and now I can say I understand the basics of MT hunting! It's gonna be a lot of fun to see what i can find, a new hobby in NMS. Great video!
Very well explained though it definitely was a lot to take in. I was planning to use this info to at least get ahold of an A rank tool but believe it or not while just randomly exploring this morning (not even looking for a new tool yet) I came across a random minor settlement. It had an S class tool! Needless to say my jaw dropped. I'm fairly new to the game so I didn't know what type of tool it was, how good it was, etc. All I knew was that it was an S rank and my current tool was a B rank and they only wanted about 1.2 million units for it. Instant buy and it has served me very well so far.
Hi let'see if I have understand: I am aiming for find at least A station mtool cabinet because with fortune on the planet settelment's (of the same system) I can find it of superior class (s)?
Make sure you leave a save beacon when you find the cabinet you want! If you forget and leave to go reload on another planet, you'll quickly want to kick your own ass. ESPECIALLY if you found an S class cabinet.
Just to add if the tool you find in the cabinet someone posted to nmsce is still an s class but not the tool you're looking for it usually means you've reloaded at the wrong place ,the pools seem consistent even after updates ,but if its a different class ,it means the s class cabinet has changed and needs rediscovering, unless it's now an outlaw system Which is another totally different discussion. Also if you find a decent b class in the space station it's worth checking on planet to see if its a native a class ,have found some decent s class mts this way .
Bit late to the hunt, but if I've understood this correctly - Each system has a max cabinet class based on the system's econ ranking. The richer the system the higher the chance there be A-S cabinets. - Each planet has it's own cabinet range. (i.e. a base "A" class cabinet planet will have an "S" class cabinet somewhere on the same planet) (base "B" class cabinet planet has "A" somewhere on the same planet etc.) - Pools deals with Weapon type, you can reset the weapon type drawn from the pool by reloading save on the same location. (A system has one pool of up to 4 weapon types) - The shop in the Space Station draws from all the system's cabinets and pools.
I went to a violent planet today. I went to a random minor settlement I just happened to fly over. I Wasn’t expecting much but to my surprise there was an s class mt. First one I’ve ever come across. Thanks god. I thought i was going to have to raise tens of thousands of nanites, which didn’t sound fun.
I have a question, does every planet have a natural MT of each class? Do natural S class MT's exist? It does seem that as explained, there should be 2 tools in each pool that can fit in a given cabinet class. Is there any way to choose between those two, or will one of the choices always be overridden?
Good point. I'm not sure how it was when this video was made, I know there have been some updates recently. I'm currently searching minor settlements, and I've observed something peculiar. I have loaded the autosave for the planet I'm on, and so far have only encountered B and C class cabinets. Weirdly, I see that different MT's will appear in B and C class cabinets. I'm not sure how that can be, unless somehow there's a native A class tool showing up in my B class cabinets.. I'll keep investigating.
There's two multitools I want. S rank staff with really good nearby or touching supercharge (or a lower ranked one that WILL have them there when I upgrade it), and a similiarly supercharged Atlantid. Given that nither can actually be in the multitool sales places... I don't even really know why I watched this?
Good job. I spent time watching Austintaceous to learn these concepts. You covered them all. I would state that his average is about 45 minor settlements before popping the S class cabinet. I have found S class cabinets as quickly as "3" and my record for the the longest grind is 145. It takes patience ....
Mine was over 500 over a full 18hour nonstop search.Found it eventually ,only for it to change location after an update about a week later .Luckily found it just about straight away second time.
Thanks Herb! Well remember, outlaw systems don’t follow the traditional “rules” of MT hunting as normal systems. Very unpredictable as to what will spawn in the station cabinet! Good luck on your hunt!
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming You are correct. I went from the Station (S class) to the first planet (C class). Returned to the Station and it was now (C class). Restored and the Station is back to S class. Second trip from Station (S class) to the second planet (C class), return to the Station and it's now turned the planet weapon into an S class. Not consistent but fun. Of course, if I find a weapon I want the Station will refuse to turn to an S class!
Today, Right now. I just landed on an outlaw station, with an S rank weapon case. 5 planets. I took a screenshot, but don't know how to translate the portal coordinates for it. Due to being on expedition, I don't even know if this place actually exists in the normal world...
Not sure that you mentioned that minor setlements are more numerous than Starbucks.Just visited my 75th minor settlement, wife is threatening to go to the pound and get a rescue dog to feed my dinner to. Still not a S class cabinet found. Hope all of the ones I visited stay marked till I can go at it again. You promis there is an S cabinet on every world? Good video, still hopeing for success.
As someone who posts regular s class finds, the one video i keep being tempted to make is the " so u cant find my multitool , heres why " video, but thats mainly out of frustration. Despite the reddit bot auto posting the blurb about checking the glyphs, galaxy, etc etc, the number of people who say its not the right planet cause they have misdialled , or are in Euclid and the tool is in Eissentam, or they have reloaded on the wrong planet. Then tnere is the issue with the cabinets flipping class bug sometimes. Its frustrating people cant take a min to follow instructions , i feel u may know my pain.
I watched this video 3 times.. and then I visited 80 minor settlements on the same planet... needed a break so went to a pirate system and lo behold! an S class cabinet, so visited the planets and loaded an experimental MT it only has 10 slots , 2 supercharged one of which is in a top corner (cost 100k units). Is this the worst possible S class? I won't upgrade it as it will work out cheaper to use nanites on my A class MT, but I am glad I found one... now I am ready to start anew on permadeath. Thanks for your tutorial.
So if my space station started with a tools and then after resetting the pools on the planets for a bit I go back to the station and it is now b tools how did I make this happen and how do I get back to having it be a
If I don't care about Class....but just want Any Alien would it make sense to do this: enter system find C-Cabinet. loop through all planets. find B-Cabinet. loop through all planets etc up to A. to do an Exhaustive search of all Pools at all Ranks? Wouldn't this have a chance of revealing MTs that your Abort at Phase1 strategy might miss?
1) kudos on a great tutorial. 2) my god finding the S-Class cabinet can take a lot longer than just 20 nav data or attempts (I think this latest one took more like 100) 3) but, when you do… experimental gun for me. I do have a question: do all planets have an SClass cabinet, if they are in a wealthy system? I ask because, if they all do, the best place to look would be the planet with the least population, and buildings. If not, it’s totally random. Either way, thanks for the tips. They worked, even though the grind was almost enough to make me quit trying. Also, I’m never ever ignoring an SClass cabinet on a space station again. You’ve cured me of that disease. I’ll even rename those systems on upload from now on, so they’ll be marked if anyone ever runs across one of my finds.
I just have 1 question: When hunting for S class cabinet and you see a B class CABINET, is it even possible for that planet to HAVE an S class cabinet, or do you need to find a different planet to hunt for the S class cabinet? I know that the TOOL can only change 1 tier, but if the space station showed the desired tool at A, do you also have to find a planet that has A tier cabinets?
Thanks so much for the video. I have grasped just about every concept in it but one. Once I find a MT sent to the cabinet I want, and then begin my minor settlement hunt on said planet's pool, do I only need to check four minor settlements for the S-class or just keep going ang going until I find it. That is the one part that I got confused about, especially XavoniuM's question. Thanks again for the great content. Much obliged.
So I went to a outlaw station that had an A class Sentinel MT that looked like an Alien MT. When I reloaded on a planet it had turned into a C class pistol. Now its back as a C class Sentinel MT that looks like an Alien MT
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming Oh! I must have missed that. lol Thanks! Also, what's the deal with the Alien MT being labeled as a Sentinel. I saw another one in a normal station
here's something I'm not sure if you answered or not. can the class in the station's box be changed by leaving the system and returning at another time? or dose the station box class get perma fixed when you enter the system?
@@jakstrieder I don’t think you can get an S-Class MT to spawn there, only A-Class. The cabinet can pull a native B-/A-/S-Class MT from the active spawning pool and „change“ it to an A-Class to fit the cabinet. Or at least that’s how I understood it.
@jakstrieder It's a bit of the other way around. The weapon you find there is likely to be a native A class. If you like how it looks, you can then try to force it to spawn in an S class cabinet. Or, you if you're fine with an A class MT, you can force other tools from different pools in the system to spawn in that cabinet. It will always be an A class MT.
The anomaly is always a C-class and it will be whatever the space station tool is. No need to worry about that cabinet - at least at the time of this comment!
I found an S cab in a station, but when I reload, it's the same tool. I'm trying to find an Alien tool. Does reloading still change the pool? Edit: oh, I have to land on a planet and reload, not reload at the station.
if you just got to the system and found it in the station, then the tool is in the default, Spond pool, and he will not want to reload on any other planet. You can go looking for another version of the tool so long as it’s one class above what you found in the station.
Hell yeah I’m not the only NMS player who loves Game of Thrones. I have 3 living frigates named after Daenerys dragons and then I’m starting to name planets after Targaryen-esque names
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming hey! Could you please? I am stuck on finding minor settlements. You mentioned a game mechanic where the only visited can appear but I am not sure what this means. I got the charts and found a minor settlement by hand so it only gives that but that didnt work out.
@szpgeri I gotchu, bud - so, whenever you pop an "inhabited settlement" map, you get directions to 1 of 6 types of inhabited setlement: shelter, planetary archive, trading post, transmission tower, minor settlement. What you wanna do is keep popping maps until you have markers for all 6 types, but ONLY visit the minor settlement. That way, every time you pop another "inhabited settlement" map, it's guaranteed to sent you to a new minor settlement, because the other 5 types are still marked for you. SUMMARY: 1. Pop maps until you have directions to all 6 settlement types. 2. Visit the minor settlement marker. 3. Every time you pop a new map, it will send you to a new minor settlement. 4. Don't visit any of the other settlements! Just leave them marked but unvisited. Hope that helped! Be lucky! 🫡
So there is still one thing very unclear to me: I found a toll I want in an A class cabinet from the ss pool on a planet. Now I would like it to move up a class by spawning it in an S class cabinet. How exactly do I find a S class cabinet? Is there a chance that the planet I am on does not have an S class cabinet? How do I know when or if I have to change to a different planet to find the S class cabinet?
Every planet/moon has a S class cabinet. There is no quick way to locate the building that contains the cabinet. You need to use navigation data while your on a planet. This is a needle in a haystack situation. It will take a lot of time and navigation data to find the S class cabinet.
Quick question. I've followed this guide and found an A class cabinet at the space station, then went to all the planets and eventually found an experimental tool. I go back to that planet to find the S class cabinet, but the tool on that planet is different from the one it sent to the station. What am I doing wrong or how do I correct this?
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming thanks for the reply. This is my first time doing this whole process so I didn't understand that, after spawning the tool I want at the station, I'd still see other tools in the B and C class cabinets while searching for the S class cabinet. Seems obvious in retrospect but this whole process is quite nuanced. Thank you for your help!
So if I find say an S-class rifle at a station, but I want an S class pistol or something else - everything in that system that gave me the S-class rifle will also always be a rifle? Only the class of that rifle will change?
I've replayed this video at least fifteen times and in parts and it still isn't sinking in. On the purge quest line I finally came across a binary star system. Three planets plus the space station. And on the first planet I are you Get A reload different tool then a C and each reload at same Settlement only the stapler model loads A or C . Unless recent patches have messed up this model or this algorithm does not work during the Purge mission line.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I'm surprised it wasn't mention there could be a benefit to putting bases on each planet and installing just a teleporter (with power). As I understand it each planet could have both an A class and an S class tool and either can work in the S class cabinet once you find it. So once you find that S cabinet keep warping back to each planet to reload and try for a different of the "two" potential tools that could work in the S class cabinet. I guess it depends also how much materials are throw away for you at this point in the game. The prospect of flying between planets over and over sounds "ugh" (I do have a fully upgraded pulse engine exotic).
Planets will only send one tool to any specific cabinet - no matter how many times you reload and go back to check that cabinet. Hope this makes sense.
Hy. I just want to brag a bit. :D Now on my first legit game (I had a 100H on a "not oficial wersion") my starter sistems space station has a S rank multytool holder and the sistems best wersion weapon is from my starter toxic word. In looks nothing special but to get this at the start is amazing.
Whiskey, can you please guide me on a question? I have just started checking out multitool hunting. I spawned an alien mutitool from a planet to the space station. (A class cabinet). I then went back to the planet to see if I could find the S class cabinet to see if I could get it to spawn there. I found an S class cabinet. However, when I did the reload to see if I could get a different weapon to spawn, the cabinet changed to a C class cabinet. Do you think this was/is a glitch? Or did I do something incorrect? Thank you for your time.😀 I am continuing to find the alien tool in either A or B class, but I'm not sure if I should continue my hunt or just simply take the A class win LOL.
I dont get the phase 3 of looking for an S class cabinet.. whats the point of doing the phases before if we end up doing the brute search of looking for an S class cabinet? could be done anywhere no? doesnt need any rules. Why do we need to find an a class cabinet before doing that?
only if you want a particular MT in an Sclass would you want to see it as a natural A. if you don’t care about that then this is not necessary. but the point of the video is how to find an Sclass tool
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming But technically you could just look for an S-Class cabinet right away, couldn’t you? If you happen to find one of these first you wouldn’t really need an A-Class cabinet anymore, right? Also, do all of these rules apply to sentinel pillars and royal multitools? Would I have to search for A-Class cabinets in pillars just like you look for them in minor settlements?
Its for when you find the multitool you WANT in s class. If any ole ugly thing will do then theres no need to reload a thousand times. Jsut buy the s class... But when you want an alien rifle in white and red colors. Then this applys
Question! I stumbled into a system with an S-class Space Station cabinet (Very lucky)! Now, I went through all the system's planet's pool, and none of them sent an Alien or Experiment to the cabinet. My question is: Is there a possibility for an Alien or Experiment weapon to show up in the S-class Space Station cabinet?
Sorry, a little confused. You said you reloaded on all the planets and none sent an alien or experimental? If that’s the case then your chances are 0%. No matter what pool you’re in, it will only ever be what you’ve seen already.
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming Yup, none of them sent Alien or Experimental. I must be both blessed and cursed then! Thanks, and keep up the great work with these vids mate!
Isn't this like counting cards? I mean, as avatars we aren't supposed to know this stuff, but as players we can choose to take advantage of this once we find out about it. But doesn't it feel like cheating?
All that. If you are at the point of this guy. If it spawns an A just upgrade, it. It will or could save you hours, days or weeks trying to get it. Most people worth billions in the bank have 100,000s of nanites they'll never use. Without even trying I have 50,000 nanites and really nothing to spend it on. When I get that tool as an A it's easier to upgrade.
Alright, so im at an S-class cabinet, but the MT is a rifle, and i want an alien. If I listened to the vid correctly, I'm pretty sure I'm outta luck on that end and gotta travel to a new system, right? Just wanna be sure in case I risk leaving this find behind when I could possibly do something.
You should land on the other planets first, autosave, reload your save, and then go back to the S cabinet. You do this for each planet in the system, to check to see if they have the MT style you want. If THEN you don't find any exotics, I think* you may be out of luck. I'm not sure you can bring in pools from other systems' planets?

Thanks!
Thanks dude, at first, I was a little lost, but then, as you kept adding more information, the prices fell into place, and now I can say I understand the basics of MT hunting! It's gonna be a lot of fun to see what i can find, a new hobby in NMS. Great video!
thx - have fun!
Great vid! This is the best explanation of MT hunting I've seen.
Still took me a couple of watches, though.
😅
Very well explained though it definitely was a lot to take in. I was planning to use this info to at least get ahold of an A rank tool but believe it or not while just randomly exploring this morning (not even looking for a new tool yet) I came across a random minor settlement. It had an S class tool! Needless to say my jaw dropped. I'm fairly new to the game so I didn't know what type of tool it was, how good it was, etc. All I knew was that it was an S rank and my current tool was a B rank and they only wanted about 1.2 million units for it. Instant buy and it has served me very well so far.
This is so awesome man. Thanks. found my first Alien S class in 3rd searched system. but ye, it does take time.
What an insanely complex system. Appreciate you explaining it
Hi
let'see if I have understand: I am aiming for find at least A station mtool cabinet because with fortune on the planet settelment's (of the same system) I can find it of superior class (s)?
Make sure you leave a save beacon when you find the cabinet you want! If you forget and leave to go reload on another planet, you'll quickly want to kick your own ass. ESPECIALLY if you found an S class cabinet.
A very thorough tutorial on how the MT spawn system work.
Enjoy your Whiskey, Sir. Cheers!
Great video and explanation on every aspect. You broke it down from a science to layman perspective.
Niel Degras Tyson would have a meltdown if he heard you calling a star system a galaxy let alone the moon/planet thing 💀😂
Oh if I had a dollar every time I called a system a galaxy and vice versa.
Great video - again. This one was a ton more in depth. Well done.
Glad it was helpful!
Super clear and thorough instructions. Love your videos and really starting to enjoy this game.
Great video. I don't understand why they make it so hard to find an S class multi-tool compared to let's say an S class ship.
Bit late to the hunt, but if I've understood this correctly
- Each system has a max cabinet class based on the system's econ ranking. The richer the system the higher the chance there be A-S cabinets.
- Each planet has it's own cabinet range. (i.e. a base "A" class cabinet planet will have an "S" class cabinet somewhere on the same planet)
(base "B" class cabinet planet has "A" somewhere on the same planet etc.)
- Pools deals with Weapon type, you can reset the weapon type drawn from the pool by reloading save on the same location. (A system has one pool of up to 4 weapon types)
- The shop in the Space Station draws from all the system's cabinets and pools.
I find grinding the nanites is more entertaining than reloading a save point repeatedly. Unless you’re a min max player I guess.
Lol. Grinding nanites for me involves save/reload on a pirate station. How do you do it?
Reloading on a planet doesn't seem to reload the station loot pool anymore. Has it been patched/updated in the game?
Can confirm, it's been patched.
what do you mean exactly? I have been changing the tool in the station by reloading on planets just today.
@@Rich4098 I don't know. Sometimes it works sometimes it don't.
Congrats!
You can upgrade the class, looks are forever though.
Very good video. Took me two watches but i finally figured it out. Thank you
Like your style. Well explained. (Right as I typed that you said it... weeeeird). You have a new subscriber :)
Found an S class case in Outlaw system station.
Was good to have a refresh. Thank you!
I loved the thumbnail you had with the water level pun 😅
Holy moly. 145. Yeah…that’s a LOT. 🤣
Mine was over 500 over a full 18hour nonstop search.Found it eventually ,only for it to change location after an update about a week later .Luckily found it just about straight away second time.
@@scotty300872 You must be a very determined interloper! WOW
Great video. Learned some things I did not know. Just found an Outlaw S-class at the station. Time to go hunting!
Wow awesome thanks for all the info, any chance this also applies to sentinel cabinets? Also how many spawn points(cabinets) are on any given planet?
I know I’m late to the party, but I was curious if Sentinel Pillars also act as mt cases or if they’re something different?
Is this method still possible.
After reloading my safe while on the planet, the MT cabinet doesn't change
Not sure that you mentioned that minor setlements are more numerous than Starbucks.Just visited my 75th minor settlement, wife is threatening to go to the pound and get a rescue dog to feed my dinner to. Still not a S class cabinet found. Hope all of the ones I visited stay marked till I can go at it again. You promis there is an S cabinet on every world? Good video, still hopeing for success.
So how’s the new dog?

Thanks for including my question! 👍🏻
thought you’d get a kick outta that, Steve! 😁
Also, an update. I’ve tried a few more times and STILL haven’t seen a single exotic with the freighter battle method. 😂 I give up.

If I don't care about Class....but just want Any Alien
would it make sense to do this:
enter system
find C-Cabinet. loop through all planets.
find B-Cabinet. loop through all planets
etc up to A.
to do an Exhaustive search of all Pools at all Ranks?
Wouldn't this have a chance of revealing MTs that your Abort at Phase1 strategy might miss?
1) kudos on a great tutorial.
2) my god finding the S-Class cabinet can take a lot longer than just 20 nav data or attempts (I think this latest one took more like 100)
3) but, when you do… experimental gun for me.
Hi Bill - sorry I'm just now responding. You keep going until you find it.
So I went to a outlaw station that had an A class Sentinel MT that looked like an Alien MT. When I reloaded on a planet it had turned into a C class pistol. Now its back as a C class Sentinel MT that looks like an Alien MT
Outlaw systems don’t abide by the MT “rules” - as mentioned in the video 👍
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming Oh! I must have missed that. lol Thanks!
Also, what's the deal with the Alien MT being labeled as a Sentinel. I saw another one in a normal station
here's something I'm not sure if you answered or not.
can the class in the station's box be changed by leaving the system and returning at another time? or dose the station box class get perma fixed when you enter the system?

@@WhiskyBarrelGaming I came across an A class cabinet at a miner setalment, if I reload could it go up to a S class?
@@jakstrieder
I don’t think you can get an S-Class MT to spawn there, only A-Class.
I hope this great advice doesn’t become obsolete when 4.0 releases. The save system seems to be in the crosshairs.
I anticipate MT hunting not going anywhere - although the mechanics of how its done might be adjusted. 🤞
Wow! This is an amazing guide! So much nms stuff is convoluded. Is all this info still current?
I found an S class cabnet on the space station and purchased it but none of the planets had an s class tool so what did i do wrong?
how does the anomaly fit into this method if it is in the system? does it just add 1 more tool to the pool or totaly throw things off?
The anomaly is always a C-class and it will be whatever the space station tool is. No need to worry about that cabinet - at least at the time of this comment!
so i found a cabinet with an s class multitool, went to planet and reloaded the save and the multitool in the cabinet was a c class. what happened?
Same thing happened to me wtf
So what you're saying is.... Ahh sheet I actually have no idea what you're talking about. I watched this a couple of times definitely confusing
I found an S cab in a station, but when I reload, it's the same tool. I'm trying to find an Alien tool. Does reloading still change the pool?
Edit: oh, I have to land on a planet and reload, not reload at the station.
Hi, I'm new to tool hunting and I found a alien tool in the space station cabinet.. do I reload on the space station or try looking for it?
if you just got to the system and found it in the station, then the tool is in the default, Spond pool, and he will not want to reload on any other planet. You can go looking for another version of the tool so long as it’s one class above what you found in the station.
Thank you! It finally clicked.

SUMMARY:
First thing is to make sure you’re in the correct pool - And didn’t accidentally reload at the space station or on another planet.
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming Not sure if I could find it again but, I found an Exotic pistol and an Experimental rifle on the same planet.
What are the chances for a s class multitool in a outlaw system?
So if I find say an S-class rifle at a station, but I want an S class pistol or something else - everything in that system that gave me the S-class rifle will also always be a rifle? Only the class of that rifle will change?
Im new player i got lucky got 2 S class weapon in 2 days playing it.. got from sentinel nest...
So, any planet is guaranteed to have at least one s class cabinet? Meaning eventually I will find a minor settlement with an S class cabinet
Unless recent patches have messed up this model or this algorithm does not work during the Purge mission line.
so home many multi tools are there?......lol.....good video whisky well done.
I’m only getting pistol spawns everywhere I go what do I do!?
Can you reload a save on one planet and then hunt that planets multi tool on another planet?
Nevermind just answered my own question, yes you can. Figured id leave the comment for engagement.

EEYYYY Found me an alien MT following this thank you.
Thank you for your time.😀
I am continuing to find the alien tool in either A or B class, but I'm not sure if I should continue my hunt or just simply take the A class win LOL.
If this was an outlaw system it’s perfectly normal. Otherwise it is a glitch. cabinets don’t / shouldn’t change classes.
I reload on a planet and then i find the same multitool on the space station… anyone has suggestions?
I dont get the phase 3 of looking for an S class cabinet.. whats the point of doing the phases before if we end up doing the brute search of looking for an S class cabinet? could be done anywhere no? doesnt need any rules. Why do we need to find an a class cabinet before doing that?
only if you want a particular MT in an Sclass would you want to see it as a natural A. if you don’t care about that then this is not necessary. but the point of the video is how to find an Sclass tool
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming
But technically you could just look for an S-Class cabinet right away, couldn’t you? If you happen to find one of these first you wouldn’t really need an A-Class cabinet anymore, right?
Also, do all of these rules apply to sentinel pillars and royal multitools? Would I have to search for A-Class cabinets in pillars just like you look for them in minor settlements?
Its for when you find the multitool you WANT in s class. If any ole ugly thing will do then theres no need to reload a thousand times. Jsut buy the s class...

Well that depends on the individual 😉 I’ve often stated that it’s your game, play it as you see fit. 👍
I haven't found an S-class cabinet in years.
