Can I change my preset/tone after I make a loop, without effecting the original loop?
Thanks for the tips! Can you route an entire pedal board with multiple pedals through the effects loop? I've been trying for weeks with little success. I would appreciate some advice. Thanks in advance!!!
I have one Stereo preset with 2 different amps and cabs, and I have 2 stereo pedals one reverb and one delay and I want both in the FX Loop (in a way I can record or use the phone out with the delay and reverb applied). So I got 2 Y stereo splitter cables, then: Send ≺ Delay ⇉ Reverb ≻ Return But then only one of my amps are returning (the same amp is returning in both stereo channels, it doesn't matter if the FX loop is L, R or Stereo). As if my send is mono and my return is stereo. Am I doing something wrong? Is it not possible for the same delay and Reverb pedal apply effect in 2 different path channel?
As a total newbie to multi fx, wondering if any pedal could be used in this way alongside the stomp 2? I have an old ehx deluxe memory man that I want to keep in my rig. Thanks!
Does the USB act as a Audio Interface into PC DAW? Can it therefore use a PreFX send via Editor APP into DAW as well as Wet simultaneously as does Line6 Toneport/Studio UX2? Can you send APP sound via PC soundcard to monitor hia WDM Driver?
You're the only person who has gotten into the specifics of the FX loop. I didn't know there were separate send and return blocks as You're using in the second example. And I see there's mono L and mono R options. So I'm guessing that you can use the loop as 2 independent mono loops (with TRS to dual TS splitter "insert" cables of course). I also am glad to see the separate send and return levels. I use those on Boss GT-1000CORE to keep the return always active on all presets so that my external reverb trails will spill over between presets (even if the send is turned off for that preset). I like the TRS jacks though for my use case, which is the MXR Reverb, which has TRS in and out. But sometimes I do like to run 2 separate external mono loops. I hope the Ampero II becomes actually available soon. I'm afraid to order from the HoTone website, not sure how long the wait will be. But in all demos, the plexis are sounding better to me on Ampero 1 and 2 than on GT-1000 (despite the lower sampling rate and bits). Also, separate power amp sim is awesome. I'm currently running a Mooer Radar after an MXR 5150 OD in one of my Boss loops because the amp modelling on the GT-1000CORE doesn't easily allow you to separate the amp sim and the can IR, and there's no power amp sim, which is crucial. Can you answer one question? I'm wondering if theres any type of trails/spillover on the Ampero II when switching between presets (not just fx on/off). Thanks for this vid!
I'm working on getting an answer for you on the fx spillover, as I'm a little tied up at the moment to test. Should know more in the morning. We will have the Ampero II in stock possibly by the end of next week.
Thanks for great review! When you turned delay mix to 100, it seems dry singal disappeared. Does Ampero kill dry signal when its mix knob turned to 100 on delay and reverb?
Thanks for the video. Could you use the loop to do 4CM with 2 x real amps to have modulation “in front” of the amps (in stereo) and use the main outputs to connect to the amps FX loops to do all the delays and verbs post?
Is it possible to dedicate effects to my FX loop of my amp and also dedicate effects to the front of my amp? I'm guessing a 4 cable method. Thank you for any help!
@@ThePedalGuy I think it's relevant since everyone would want to know if they can get something like a 2 amp setup with separate delay reverb on each chanel.

I can put the Fx loop in any spot of the chain of the Ampero? Here´s my case. I play bass, and i want to use a Compressor/Limiter, then the fx loop to a Digitech The drop for some songs that needed, and then come back to Ampero to the rest of the chain. Why? Because The Drop without a strong Limiter before sounds muddy and loses track very easy. Can i do that way? Thanks
If you put a volume pedal in the effects loop, does it end up before or after the delays and reverbs IN the Ampero? Been trying to figure this out, and if it's defaults globally or has to be set manually in each preset.
Can you put a stereo pedal in the effects loop of the Ampero? I'm assuming you need to use mono. Thanks anyone for the feed back, newbie here. I might be in over my head.
If I were to have one delay in each of the MP300's two signal paths, do I need to have two cables (L/R) out or can I just use Mono out and still get the dual delay effect?
can I plug directly into a real tube amp then output from the tube amps fx send into the ampero 2 and then back into the return of the real amp? because when I use output into my amps return there is no sound, but when I use fx send it works?
I propose a challenge....inserting a looper in the effects loop....to essentially have 2 loopers available. I tried this today, using both the effects loop module, as well as separate send/return modules.....nothing seemed to provide a decent sound. The reason for doing this was to insert a looper that had the ability to save/recall phrases. the main downside is that once looped, you can't change anything in the tone, without effecting the entire loop, no matter where in the chain the loop is.
I noticed that too. That stinks. I usually like one clean and one dirty tone for contrast. Can that be remedied using an external Boss RC500 pedal? How would I set that up. Does it have to have a spot in the signal chain- at the end I assume?

If we can treat it like just a generic input for say another source, that would be interesting. The manual makes it appear that is the case but I'd be curious to know. I'm guessing since it's TRS that it'll be an unbalanced stereo input, but I'm still curious.

Hmm....All real time effects will have some impact on your CPU. Some more than others. Reverbs in particular can be a bit power hungry but I haven't really experienced any huge DSP issues yet.
You can fill up all 12 slots as long as you aren't using any IRs or spring reverb. The spring reverb takes up as much DSP as an IR but it's the only one that seems to be that hungry
