  • The mid-size SUV is a category with serious competitors like the Mazda CX-5 and Toyota RAV4. But is the Hyundai Tucson the dark horse of the group?

First thought - the update looks great. Second thought - Wow! She must be really short because the Tuscan isn't a large SUV but when she's standing along the side of it in the beginning of the video, it looks huge. Great video

Yeah it's a shame they couldn't include the rear air vents

I am wondering how was the Aircon experience, specially at the back seats?

The TLE2 Exterior is way better than the TLE3. That Grill looks like my front security door - hate it!
The flatter lights - hate it (prefer the bold TLE2 lights)
Interior - Wireless Charging, Back Seat USB Port big ticks. The new head unit I'm not so sure on because it's more exposed to sunlight now (in Australia, that's bad).
I have a TLE2 Highlander. In this day of age, rear USB is convenient but no loss with battery packs available etc.
Honestly, Hyundai went backwards with the facelift.

I have the 2019 Tucson Trend (power seats and panaromic roof). Does anyone else find the seats very uncomfortable? I find the front part of the seat at the lowest setting still feels too high like the seat is still on an angle (pressing into my thighs as i try to still reach the left foot rest).

Luke Hall I’d avoid Ford. Buy a CX-5, you won’t regret it

My parents own a Ford Escape ST Line, brilliant vehicle. 178 kilowatts and 345nm of torque. The drive feels like a Focus, feels like a sporty drive and when you floor it, it goes. The kit is great, has all the latest tech apple car play and android auto, 7 airbags and quite comfortable for long trips.

SuperGramps Mazda CX-5 has 170kW and 420Nm now with the new turbo petrol option. And it has excellent reliability and very good dealer support. Ford dealers in Australia are useless

@@YZJB Remember though, if you want the 2.5 litre turbo you have to buy the GT or the Akera AWD only, otherwise ots 140kw and 252nm. The GT starts at 50k and you can have a Escape St Line from 45k, just so happens to be a 304km used Escape St Line for 37k. Ford service isnt all to bad, free loan car and some nice muffins and snacks to choose from.

i trade in my 3 year old RV4(2017 model) to Hyundai Tucson last weekend. the best decision i ever made in my life!!!
reason of giving up on the Rav4 is the suspension is horrible and the noise is like u taking airplane!
    no more Toyoto for me.
    cheers!

Base model go $30k and no cow or alloys.. NO safety features like the rivals in its class.. it’s a bit pricey may push buyers to Mazda or Toyota..

No AEB as std sucks Hyundai. $2200 to option safety pack? Nope, not with Toyota and Mazda now offering the full safety suite as std across entire model ranges.
