The one thing I love about your reviews is that the both of you don’t speak “at” us with fancy words and semantics but rather speak to us plainly with genuine thoughts and insights. Keep up the wonderful work!
I have had my ultimate trim in white/beige for 5 months and really like it. Blind spot monitor should be mandatory on all new cars like seat belts. Use my 360 camera for parking and a tight fit in the garage more than I thought. I never liked cruise control, but adaptive is pretty cool on longer trips. The only thing I'd change is the gas mileage. I drive a lot of city and getting about 20mpg for life of car so far. I was surprised when you said a 16.4-gallon tank. it is about 13 on mine and I do have the ultimate.
Great complete review of this great vehicle. Having traded in my 2016 Sonata for this 2019 Tucson Ultimate in the exact same exterior/interior color, Black Noir Pearl with the black leather interior as your tester, I can say that I made the right choice. Luv this compact crossover/SUV a lot, it looks great, has really advanced tech, terrific seat comfort and is the best value in it's class.
I very much enjoyed the well explained description of the vehicule. I saw the type of video of the vehicule I wanted to see which informed me quite well. I enjoyed the approach of those two guys telling the details to one another. Tks!
Great review guys. I recently bought a revised 2018 Hyundai Tucson here in the UK, similar to SEL in America. It's a lovely car, very smooth and quiet, and very well equipped. :-)
Could you do a review of the 2019 Kia Sportage SX Turbo . Haven't found many good reviews of this vehicle on RUclips. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
I dont think everyone opts to buy the topmost trim because its the costliest one.It will be very heplfull if we can have a review on the base model or the sport.
Plss do a comparison between hyundai tucson and honda crv, but I've got to say that you always making a good review, keep it up (Im sorry if I have a wrong grammar hehe)
Yeah 2019 Black Noir Pearl Hyundai Tucson Ultimate compact Sexy Luxury 2.4L 4-CYLINDER and 2.0L 4-CYLINDER Screen Cup holders Audio system Navigation 22-28 Mid-size $33,055 or $33.,015 Suv!!!!!!!!!!!
Recently bought the 2019 sport, wish i could have done at least limited but that price lol. Sport also has the wireless charging pad standard. I was going to make a view videos aswell, I have a few negatives but mostly positive. I disklike the "ambient temperature sensor" also a big one for me is the cruise control; whether its the engine or something else it hates any kind of slopes and cruise control lags. I was on the highway for example tonight and usually set it to 71 and it kept wanting to do 70. I set it on 72 and it was doing 72 lol, in that same thought my rpm jumps when it tries to go that 1 more mph from 2.1 to 2.6 rpm which could waste unnecessary fuel economy.
Looks like Hyundai is still using the same black plastic material for the interior buttons. The letters will fade and finger smudge marks will show on the buttons so the black buttons will get glossy.
There is a Night edition? I don't see that on the Hyundai Website. Other than that, as always great video. Your reviews of this vehicle and the Subaru Forester are really helping me decide between which one to get to replace my current Tucson. Keep up the good work guys.
Glad to hear that! And yes there is a Night Edition that is just now rolling out (our dealer has one). Not sure why they haven't added it to the build and price yet
Hello! Thanks for these videos! They are very helpful... I want to ask what you think between the Tucson and Rogue? which one do you like the most? TY!
Thanks! Between Rogue and Tucson I prefer the way the Hyundai drives. However the cabins of the Rogue is probably a but nicer and the fuel economy is better. Everything in this class has pretty and cons. Hope this helps!
Thanks! Personally I'd choose the Tucson because I like its style and prefer the traditional transmission instead of the CVT. On the flip side, the interior is more spacious and luxurious in the Forester... Hope this helps somewhat!
@@CarConfections that's what I was leaning towards as well. I felt the Tucson has more extras like ventilated seats and a 360 camera. Thanks for the advice!
Here in Canada, the one I got is an ultimate...top of the line and it comes with the 19" rims. And it sucks the 8" screen doesn't actually make the picture bigger, it just stays at 7" :(
@@ajaaniajaa bought it lol It will be ready for pick up on Monday. Does it come with wireless charging ? I see it says it does but I dont see it mentioned on the site and the salesman did not seem to know
Congrats, it's been a week since I got mine now. If you got yours in Canada, unfortunately it doesn't come with wireless charging :( so they got rid of that and the turbo. I think they got rid of the wireless because of Apple carplay and Android Auto. Plugging in your phone will charge it, just not wirelessly.
@@ajaaniajaa they should have kept it for the ultimate as it has navigation and you can play music through bluetooth. It also is much smoother than my elantra. I dont mind that they got rid of the turbo given than I am moving up to an suv and they have more power anyway. Cant wait to pick it up and install my new dashcam
Hyundai have really tried here, but don't hold any light against the heavy weights like RAV-4, Rogue and CR-V. That poor rear seat leg room is really noticeable in comparison to the competition. Let's hope Hyundai can do something better in the next generation Tucson
Idk, there are so many videos of the rav4 already the one I just watched recently was for the top of the line model. And let me tell you the comment section was going crazy. The rav4 is not worth the money "new" the high end model didnt even offer much. Like damn Toyota. It looks nice but damn they couldve added more features
@@saadtheman1 Rav4 to me is overpriced at just under $40K and they don't have much sale price offered ever on it. It's been out for some months now in my area and I never see anyone in them. There's a ton of 2016 Ravs on the road. I thought it was loud and it's been said in other reviews that it is a louder engine than its competitors. It's nice, but I'll stick with something closer to $30K. ;)
That 2.4 L engine fuel economy is almost Midsize SUV level. Really bad fuel economy by Hyundai. I don't know how they expect to pitch it against something like Subaru Forester or Toyota RAV-4

Thanks Mark! We are waiting for the refreshed 2020 Sportage to come out in the next month or so to review it
The Hyundai Tuscon should be available with the sporty N trim, cause it has that sporty look to it.
Amazing review + drive guys, thanks for the video!

Great review. The Tuscon is an amzing SUV. It would be cool if yall could do a review of its sister, the Kia Sportage.
We will when the refreshed 2020 model comes out
On a straight path I have to add
Looks like Hyundai is still using the same black plastic material for the interior buttons. The letters will fade and finger smudge marks will show on the buttons so the black buttons will get glossy.
Great review as always however I find the interior very cheap compared to its competitors. To me the engine sounds a tad trashy.
I love the hyundai Tucson I need one
Nice review car confection what camera gear that you use
We have a Sony camcorder and a couple GoPros. We also have microphones and 2 tripods and tons of smaller stuff

It reminds me of that yellow lawnmower that sits in front of Home Depot

The Kia Sportage, Tuscons sister, has lots of leg room I sat in the back of one.
CRV has a crappy engine.
tried what? It's either you don't know nothing about cars, or you're just a typical troll.
hyundai tucson has amazing leg room in back, i'm 6 ft and 290 pounds and comfortable.
I read that 2020 will be better, but well see
Even though the screen is 8", it doesn't seem to be fully utilized. Lots of black screen all around.
I agree. I prefer the squarer 8" ones like in the GM models.
The biggest positive for me is no auto stop/start. That's one reason I buy Nissan.
We have it in our 2 vehicles and you don't notice it after first week. Better gas mileage too w/it.
Did anyone see the obvious body roll ?
Go Hyundai!!!
You need to compare it to RAV4!
The interior is so basic. It looks like a Honda. I agree Justin, he needs to compare it to the fancy RAV4.
