    The one thing I love about your reviews is that the both of you don’t speak “at” us with fancy words and semantics but rather speak to us plainly with genuine thoughts and insights. Keep up the wonderful work!

    I have had my ultimate trim in white/beige for 5 months and really like it. Blind spot monitor should be mandatory on all new cars like seat belts. Use my 360 camera for parking and a tight fit in the garage more than I thought. I never liked cruise control, but adaptive is pretty cool on longer trips. The only thing I'd change is the gas mileage. I drive a lot of city and getting about 20mpg for life of car so far. I was surprised when you said a 16.4-gallon tank. it is about 13 on mine and I do have the ultimate.

    Great complete review of this great vehicle. Having traded in my 2016 Sonata for this 2019 Tucson Ultimate in the exact same exterior/interior color, Black Noir Pearl with the black leather interior as your tester, I can say that I made the right choice. Luv this compact crossover/SUV a lot, it looks great, has really advanced tech, terrific seat comfort and is the best value in it's class.

    Recently bought the 2019 sport, wish i could have done at least limited but that price lol. Sport also has the wireless charging pad standard. I was going to make a view videos aswell, I have a few negatives but mostly positive.
    I disklike the "ambient temperature sensor" also a big one for me is the cruise control; whether its the engine or something else it hates any kind of slopes and cruise control lags. I was on the highway for example tonight and usually set it to 71 and it kept wanting to do 70. I set it on 72 and it was doing 72 lol, in that same thought my rpm jumps when it tries to go that 1 more mph from 2.1 to 2.6 rpm which could waste unnecessary fuel economy.

    Looks like Hyundai is still using the same black plastic material for the interior buttons. The letters will fade and finger smudge marks will show on the buttons so the black buttons will get glossy.

    • @CarConfections

    Here in Canada, the one I got is an ultimate...top of the line and it comes with the 19" rims. And it sucks the 8" screen doesn't actually make the picture bigger, it just stays at 7" :(

      Congrats, it's been a week since I got mine now. If you got yours in Canada, unfortunately it doesn't come with wireless charging :( so they got rid of that and the turbo. I think they got rid of the wireless because of Apple carplay and Android Auto. Plugging in your phone will charge it, just not wirelessly.

    • @paulv4288
      @paulv4288 5 лет назад +1

      @@ajaaniajaa they should have kept it for the ultimate as it has navigation and you can play music through bluetooth. It also is much smoother than my elantra. Hyundai have really tried here, but don't hold any light against the heavy weights like RAV-4, Rogue and CR-V. That poor rear seat leg room is really noticeable in comparison to the competition. Let's hope Hyundai can do something better in the next generation Tucson

      @@saadtheman1 Rav4 to me is overpriced at just under $40K and they don't have much sale price offered ever on it. It's been out for some months now in my area and I never see anyone in them. There's a ton of 2016 Ravs on the road. I thought it was loud and it's been said in other reviews that it is a louder engine than its competitors. It's nice, but I'll stick with something closer to $30K. ;)
