- Welcome to my review of the Hyundai Tucson. For 2019 the Tucson has been given a mid-life frefresh which means slight tweaks to the exterior but heavier tweaks to the interior.
The spec list is incredibly strong for then Tucson with pretty much everything you could imagine as standard on the Premium SE.
Only Park Assist and ACC being the only kit lacking however with 360 cameras and sensors, Park Assist I imagine would not be used. ACC is available but only on DCC models.

Great review. I own a 2018 Tucson SE Nav 1.6 non-turbo. I can fully relate to your comments. The tyre roar is apparent on the 17" wheels also. That said passengers have remarked that the car is very comfortable. The 1.6 non-turbo is smooth and quiet but you have to adopt a relaxed driving style and the torque for hills etc is inadequate for the size of car. Reliability has been excellent though. I just miss the heated seats that were in my last 2 IX 35's!

Thanks for the review, we've just bought a 19 plate petrol SE NAV as a used car, it was good to see what it was like pre test drive.

@@stuartrideruk hi mate. Yes, it's ideal for a none petrol head. Plenty of space, steering is light, drive is smooth. We don't do a lot of motorway driving but it's kept up with traffic at speed fine for our family needs. The ride is comfortable too

What model is that as love the nav screen unit
Currently stuck between getting a used one of these or a Skoda karoq 🤔
Yay standard transmission. Most likely wont come to the USA in standard transmission, but looks like a nice car. I kinda like the sport trim just based off the one pic you showed. I nice short throw shifter will most likely help with the big cup problem.
Great review but you don't mention the fuel consumption figures I have owned 3 Tucson's 2 diesels now the se nav petrol very thirsty car I live in Milton Keynes as well
Thank you for your comment. I have mentioned the mpg figures to someone in the comments section beforehand. It was not the most frugal of cars especially with its petrol engine.
2.0 diesel is not dual clutch but classic automatic with torque converter

I got into the early 30’s with town driving but did not have the opportunity to do any distance driving in the Tucson.
@@AutoBears ok thank u.. i had mine delivered last friday 1.6 177bhp petrol and was a bit worried as im used to diesels lol.

The Y and the i in Hyundai are silent. It is pronounced Hunday.
No it isn’t, the Koreans pronounce the y and the day should be short.
