I am 77 years young and have DRY and wrinkled skin. I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION !! It is hydrating and blurs my wrinkles. It makes my skin Look and feel great all day ! Definitely worth the money ! Chantecaille was hydrating , but did not give the same finish that blurred my wrinkles.

Great review. I’m over 50 with dry skin in SoCal and this is my most favorite foundation. I like the natural coverage and, with a light dusting of powder and setting spray, lasts all day - and in fact looks better as the day wears on. The only downside of this foundation is the packaging. Thank you for all that you do!

I have the Future Skin by Chantecaille, and that's more my style for days when I want more coverage. Plus I buy mine on their website during their annual sale. As for mature skin, which I have, most of us look better with a lighter weight foundation. I typically use my own skin care and use the Chanel Water Fresh Tint. I have the Complexion Touch on the way for my redness days. I'd like to try that Cle de Peau. Their Luminizers knocked me out. I'm not buying Suqqu. Too much work. Thanks for the video!💚

I love the Suqqu The Cream foundation and the other one they have as well. The other Suqqu foundation reminds me of KoGenDo. I use the Suqqu primer under mine. I have to say I love the Chanel Sublimage Concealer. It is really good. I lightly powder with Westman Atelier in the pink. Have you noticed lots of these companies make refillable packaging and never produce the refills. Your makeup looked beautiful in the first shot. Would love to see a review on the liquid chanel sublimage foundation in the pump bottle (l'essence de teint), another channel I watch says that one is her favorite chanel foundation and one of her holy grails of all time. Supposedly it is a favorite of a lot of people. Would also love to hear how you'd compare that one to the chantecaille future skin- not because they are supposed to be similar at all but because the chantecaille is really nice. I bought that after seeing your review and it is basically the only thing that for sure is not going to make my pore area look crusty by the end of the day. Really love that one. Maybe not as illuminating as a lot of things but the charlotte tilbury serum is slightly illuminating so if I put it over that, it makes up for it.

I just love your pure and honest reviews, and all the comparisons, dear Sofia!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩I totally understand you, i love this foundation, the only one from Chanel so far, because most other complexion products from them have fragrance and being 52 with more dry sensitive skin, i love it. But also me, not the whole year. I discovered it end last year (so winter) end used it in winter, and we have a nice cool spring here (love it with my allergic asthma), so, for pollen and lots of pollution in the air no airconditioning needed yet. But i think a few months later with lots of AC i wil love it again! But it's a lot on the face, you're right! Suqqu also is, but in a lighter way indeed. It's so depending how the skin is doing, what the weather is etc etc, which foundation to use! The Cle de Peau in the tube i do not know, have other ones, great idea, thanks, think that one is also here in Europe! The Chantecaille is indeed very good, and the 2 other Chanel foundations, onlhy the no.1, i tried, my face does not get tomato red but also does not feel comfy, no matter how soft the skincare and primer is that i use under this foundation, think i give it away. I love your enthusiasm and that you try so much! Yes, this foundation is more for mature, but for ALL year, VERY dry skin, i think. But loved the video, thanks so much, have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘

I tested that Chanel Le Teint and it was so heavy that it just sat on my oily skin. I have aging skin and rosacea & texture on my cheeks and Chanel was an oily mess on me. My favorite of all the foundations you talked about today are SUQQU hands down, then the Chantecaille and then CDP. I love the convenience of the CDP tube, but it isn't as emollient as Suqqu & Chantecaille. I love the Suqqu cream foundation so much, I have it both in my summer shade 40 and winter shade 35. I don't ever have to wear primer and my skin looks more luminous and healthy throughout the day, not oily, if that makes sense. Thank you for your review Sofia!

Watching your video while applying this foundation 😁Combo skin from humid TX is here) I like this foundation a lot. I find the brush it comes with sheers out a lot of coverage. ( honestly I would like no brush at all with less price tag ) Jumbo base from SoniaG makes it almost invisible. The only one brush which I prefer is 106 from BK beauty. Beautiful medium coverage! It looks very natural and healthy on me the whole day. Every time I look in the mirror I think I look pretty 😍I don’t mind to touch up, I do it with every foundation anyway.
I also have Suqqu creamy foundation, they are pretty similar imo. But I find 31 shade in Chanel a little bit better on me than 025 from Suqqu.

Hi, Sofia!! Thank you for the great review!! I like sublimage le teint foundation but I feel the same way, it might be better for the west coast or Europe?! Cle de peau "the foundation"; the jar version😅 is my favorite, especially ever since they reformulated, compared to chantecailles future skin foundation, it has scent, and is a little bit more moisturized, radiant finish but it's not oily also. Cle de peau teint creme eclat is my favorite also, which is easy to carry and gets almost the same finish as "the foundation", About cle de peau radiant fluid foundation, somehow irritated my skin and is a little dry to my taste, so I gave it to my friend who has oily skin, she says it's great...😅 To me, shiseido synchro skin self-refresging foundation is a lot more comfortable to wear... to my eyes, the finish is even better...those are sister companies so, I guess it's close?!
I still haven't tried suqqu foundation, coz I don't know which colors to buy, but I think it's good match for me as your shade 💕💕

It's a ridiculous price, but I think it's worth it, and cle de peau voile creme correcteur is great!! With or without the primer makes a big difference to me, cle de peau concealers are also great, I don't wear much, but their power is also great. I'm crazy enough to try la prairie skin caviar concealer foundation too, it was good enough, but I think cle de peau finish is more beautiful and my skin stays in good condition, cle de peau SPF 50 face and body and SPF 30 lip cream are also my favorite❤ some of their items irritate my skin, so I don't use their skin care lines, I prefer sisley. But I feel cle de peau base make up lines are one of the best !!😆💕

I do like this foundation but probably won't repurchase. Chanel's shade range is lacking. They don't produce a true neutral. The B10 leans yellow for me & at that price point I shouldn't have to colour correct. I find the best application is with fingers & powdered.

Oh, you won’t like the Sublimage Le Teint! No wayyyyy. Lol. It’s more moisturizing than the cream one, and less coverage, that I can tell you. I happen to love the Le Teint, as I have really dry skin. On me, it’s very smoothing. Hi Sofia. Great review. I dont have this foundation. I really picky when it comes to foundations. I have clear skin, so i prefer very little foundation, especially with aging. Thats why i invest in my skincare. I love Valmont bee line, so i have their serum foundation. Its quite thick as well, but its like skincare .i do mix with Chanel highlighting fluid. Well Valmont they have 2 , one for dry skin, the one i have and the other one, which i believe the most expensive foundation ever😱 . I also like Chanel both water fresh and le teint long wear one, for cooler months. Maybe at some point i will purchase this Chanel foundation. Is just because, Valmont has like 5 shades. So i will try Chanel, and see which one i like better. Now i dont know what skincare you are using. Maybe you should try the skincare that i used in my late twenties for over a decade. It doesnt work anymore on my skin. But when i came to US SF in my late twenties, i had huge problem, with my perfect to that time skin😂i tried everything. It was red , blotchy, it drove me crazy. So when i was starting on my raw vegan dessert business, in that world, i stumbled up, on skincare, that was made as i make my desserts. Its like 5-6 ingredients, no dictionary needed to know what it is there. And they have these funny names you cant zit here, or skincredible. Of course i was sceptical. But its not so expensive, and can be purchased wholesale prices. And that was very cheap. So these two were my favorites, i had all the samples, but not every product fit my skin. In only a month, my skin turn around 360. It was back flawless, no redness…, i could not believe it.But about 5 years ago, it wasnt enough. I needed something different, like Biologique Recherche,MBR and Valmont, these all made my skin again very soft and robust. I am able to use retina , now for 7 months😜 anyways if you want to try that skincare , the company is Simply Divine Botanicals. They are based in Las Vegas . Ps the red lipstick stunning. Reminds me of my favorite red Chanel lipstick First Light.Have a blessed day🙏💗
