    Hello Grace. Thank you for the comparison. I have both foundations and I would say my skin is normal to a bit oily in the center. I prefer the cream foundation. And I think it looks better on you. Even the blush looks more seemingly on the cream side. ❤

    Hey Grace, could you also make a video on permanent alternatives for some limited edition items. I would especially love the alternatives to the new Chanel blush/highlighter, Fantaisie de Chanel, as it went sold out the moment it appeared on the website here in the Netherlands 😕
    And thanks for this nice video btw! 🥰 has helped me decide about the two foundations.

    Hi Grace! Love the side by side comparisons. Both looks are stunning on you and you can’t go wrong either way. 🥰 I own Clair Obscur and love it bc it doesn’t cause any eye reactions and I prefer all matte, neutral shades. I also love the 72 blush bc I like the cooler, bolder finish since many blushes don’t show up or last long on my skin. That lip shade looks amazing on you as well ❤️

    I do like the foundation in the jar better on you. I love Clair Obscur. It’s been my favorite neutral palette. I am on my second one and as with the first one, I’ve used the lightest shade completely up. I also just remembered that Tisse Essentiel was the first Chanel makeup product I bought myself. It was part of a holiday set with a liner and mascara. I was working as a temp for Christmas at My local Lord & Taylor ( I miss that store). It was my first treat when I got my paycheck!

      @@EverydayEdit So true. My first makeup product, not including the 3 step Clinique skin care, was a base that Lancôme had, kind of like a tinted moisturizer. I bought it throughout my college years. That was the only thing I wore with Maybelline mascara.

    I've had Tisse Essentiel since it was released. I've panned several of the shades. Great colors but wish they were more pigmented. Amazingly, on screen both look exactly the same on you once you have mascara on.

      Same here! First and only eye shadow I’ve ever panned, and I am looking for something the same except with the lightest shade in a good shimmer or at least a satin. With the Clair Obscure, I would really miss that lightest shade. I have also considered one of the Bobbie Brown nudes palettes.

    Hi Grace I have both but have yet to open my Le Teint. I used to have that shiseido brush but ended up returning it. When you wash that brush does the red dye bleed out? It was the reason why I returned it. Now I am thinking maybe leaving it in water for a while might do the trick? Would love to know about your brushes. Thanks and love the review!

    • @EverydayEdit

      I’ve had this question before about the brush & I think I showed a paper towel that I dried it on in a video. I found just a couple of trace dots on the psp set towel, but they was it. I haven’t tried leaving it water, but I do use a texture cleaning mat when I do clean it🌸

    • @EverydayEdit
      @EverydayEdit  Год назад +1

      😊 of course! It’s the most seamless application with no streaks and it works with all of my foundations. Do you have a recommendation for a Channel blush that has good color payoff. I think I've seen some color swatch videos, but sometimes with the heat of the finger applying it on the skin, isn't the same as using a brush. I only use synthetic brushes too. I was interested in Chanel's brushes because they're all synthetic I think.

    • @EverydayEdit
      @EverydayEdit  Год назад

      Ooh 🌟 good question! I use them differently, as I consider the Rose Face Tint as more of a skin care/makeup hybrid while the Chanel primer is truly a primer. With that said I haven’t tried them side by side … yet 😄

      Great question! ❤️ I agree that sunscreen can definitely impact overall makeup application & appearance. I don’t believe I used sunscreen for this one. Let me know if that is something you’d like to see in the future. The reason I’ll skip the spf when I’m testing out foundations is exactly for that reason & I know not everyone uses the same spf.

    Thank you for the comparison. I had a bottle of the Sublimage Serum and loved it, used it all up and really loved the effect, but it’s a lot of money.
