Ive been praying fervently that God use this situation to expose the narcissistic demons masquerading as "Christians" in the church! This pastor reminds me SO much of my "Christian" ex-husband who used similar stalking behavior when I left. Please, God, pull back the curtain to expose these devils.

I must question the integrity, values, and intelligence of the people of and leaders of this community and this congregation who allowed this “pastor”, who used his position of power to abuse underage girls to once again - without consequences to have powerful differential over a church again- someone who excused/deflected/victimized himself and blamed his father for his lack of self control and ability to conduct himself as a “leader”??
These Machiavellian narcissists are very good at storytelling and deception. His story of why he didnt go to church- is classic of what they do gain trust. They judge and shame the things they actually do to throw people off.

The LORD ALWAYS uses the enemy’s plan and flips it on his head. This is a perfect example of that. It’s sad Mica is no longer here, but her death has exposed the evil within this pastor and his church (not the people, just in general.) VENGEANCE belongs to the Lord, and oh boy… is He exposing it. Just watched an episode of Cold Case where the "pastor" portrayed his wife as suicidal and his dad offes her. Automatically thought of this case, same playbook 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾May Micah finally be a peace and justice served
This scenario reminded me of my first husband. I finally left him and the church. Don't get me wrong, it was a wonderful, Bible based Christian Church. The congregation was fooled by the lies and manipulation of my ex-husband, who was an Elder. He was so "funny" and "caring." I started noticing that he only cared about the female members and often had long, "supportive" conversations with the most vulnerable. He had an affair with my "best friend." He convinced everyone I was the problem. I thought it was Biblical to remain married. I asked my therapist: "Are you making a choice if you think there is no choice?" To all women: Please validate your inner voice that tells you something isn't right. Other people have noticed it too! P.S.: I stopped being depressed when I was no longer married to a Sociopath/Narcissist.

Praying for you. I don’t what you have gone through but know Jesus loves you and wants a personal relationship with you. I’ve been emotionally and sexually abused but God helped heal my heart. Jesus loves you. I just wanted to reach out. Hope all is well.
What qualifications and education did this guy have? Did he have a masters in theology? What qualified him to be a lead pastor and tout himself as a biblical scholar? There are plenty of these people whether they have credentials or not but just curious to see why he was given so much power and authority on biblical interpretation and leading people in their spirituality.

I've seen pastors way more intelligent who got bored and who thought they were doing the right thing, but they fell back and started doing stupid things. They fooled themselves with their own education.

My husband was hit by a car as a younger man, and the perp also accused him of going crazy and beating the vehicle 😡 It is always remarkable how far people will stretch the truth the circumvent accountability.
I find it funny how he talks about how horrible the ppl were when they said mica could talk to them even about jp and they wouldn’t say anything and who wants to hear someone talk about their spouse while he told everyone his ex wife, the whole congregation, friends, family, whoever would listen about how crazy and horrible mics was and made her out to be a horrible spouse who was so crazy she was unstable and untrustworthy!!! Wow the gaslighting and narcissistic traits are strong in this one!!

Families need to intervene when a wife is being abused. She is usually too stressed to think straight.

I was on pastoral staff at a church where the pastor was an abusive narcissist. He tried to control narrative by accusing everyone of gossip. He thought I was a gossiper. When my friend left staff, she kept getting inside information. He assumed it was from me. It wasn't. I told her I wasn't going to tell her any inside news. (Which she respected). Since she continued to add inside information to her formal complaint about him to the denomination, he assumed it was coming from me. After I left, one of his homies posted a death threat towards me, her, and two church members on IG. The other 3 had spoken out against him publicly. I had not. The only reason I was grouped with them was because the pastor gossiped and lied about me by telling his friend I was feeding her information...a "truth" he made up.
Now, I'm out. I'm a missions pastor at a very healthy church many states away from where I had been. I didn't realize how bad it was until I was out and in a healthy environment.

Thank you for recognizing that men can be trapped in this cycle too…my cousin unalived himself because he could not escape his mentally and emotionally abusive wife…it was awful to watch from the outside.
Unfortunately it works both ways! I hv a friend that is severely mentally abused by his wife. The wife also mentally abuses her daughter! The husband would not leave her saying he believes it is for better or worse. The wife is now in an assisted care facility, but trying to manipulate from there. Sad that some people r like this!

I just watched a story about a pastor who was having an affair with a married parishioner, whose husband was the accountant of the church. The husband found out the pastor was stealing money, so he resigned. Then...the pastor killed the husband with a bullet to the head. The pastor is in jail for life and the wife is in jail for 8 years. So, part of this case you're talking about sounds similar!

I encountered this type of “personality” (demon) in our church recently. He tried to take control of the church and thought he was entitled to it. Thankfully my pastor took control back, but he did some damage. These people are real use discernment. I would recognize this in the future but man I pray I never have to meet another one like this again. Btw love the jp whiny impression 😂

AND, JP (I cannot call him a pastor) said he told everyone he could, not to let her have access to a gun because she was sui**cidal, and needed her medicine ~ doesn’t it seem like he was predicting her death? He declared he was the only one trying to “save” her…wow, he thinks of himself in such a lofty manner. However, we do know that God brings the hidden things to light. May Mica be remembered for her heart for the little ones in Kenya, and especially for her love for God.

No, do NOT "fellowship" with such a one. What fellowship has darkness with light? Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. Church discipline should have been undertaken against him until he repented. Absolutely do not fellowship with him or even eat with him. The elders should have acted together to bring him under church discipline instead of allowing him to lead the congregation and then following in his wicked deeds.

I think that place was mostly pretty bad, the leadership. More wary Christians would have left, and definitely some of them smelled a rat and left.

A pastor once said to our congregation 'forgiveness is not complete until reconciliation takes place'. I lived according to that rule until abuse in my marriage and some in my friendships caused severe CPTSD finally I decided absolutely not. Forgiveness sets us free but we do not and should not remain in any abusive relationship. Personal, mental and ones rmotional and spiritual health comes first.
We will know transformation by the fruits.

Although I'm also an Evangelical Christian, I would in no way condone keeping a Pastor in the pulpit that had a past like his, especially since all this new information came out. A true Pastor would willingly step down and get professional counseling, with no timeline for if (or when) they would return. It breaks my heart that Mica suffered so much at the hands of the one person who was supposed to be her example of Christ-like love and a Godly Husband. I pray for all of the children and her family. 🙏🏼💔🥺 Edit: I also hope that if nothing can be done criminally, that her family does civically (legally).

To be a believer you ask Jesus to be in your heart and know that he died for your sins. It’s not about religion but your own personal relationship. You can identify a person’s character by their fruits.
This is true, our actions are our fruits😊. I think pastors try to scare people with things like, you have to raise your hand in church or walk down an aisle. Kindness love, knowing Christ's example. I wish I had all the answers.

How could he have called Charles at 1:27 when Muca was still at the gas station!? If he went to the store, where are the video records? Why did come back in a different car? He left in his truck with his boat and returned in a white mustang supposedly. What about the people in the “other boat”? Can you dig around? And has anyone tried to ID the weird creeper at the gun store? Or tried to get the van license plate when he left? And why did Mika take the long way to the state park. Did Mica have a doctor who could vouch for JP’s claims??? There are so many questions it seems no one is asking.
