My ex was such a horrible man. I went thru much of what Mica had to deal with. One night, he snuck out to see a woman. When he returned, I heard the car pull up. I quickly grabbed my pistol and was outside before he got out of the car. I aimed at him and told him to leave. No, was the answer he gave me. I told him I would blow his knee out if he didn't get back in the car. I shot the gun into the woods and aimed again. He got back in the car and left. I let him come back to get his belongings, but I kept everything else. I got a divorce only see him in passing. I'm now married to a wonderful man who treats me with kindness and love. I've never been happier.
You could have got put in jail for that I hope you know. Simply because it wasn't legal. I'm not sure why you pulled a gun on him? I've been through similar as well and unfortunately police were not helpful.

He kept trying to kill me saying accidents happen all the time. I survived and to me that's all that counted at that time. 10 years of torture was just too much!

Mine did for 20 years, he was also a perv, I stayed WAY too long, but back then (70s and 80s) I didn't have any resources, nobody to run to. I called 911 a few times when the physical abuse happened, but because I didn't have visible wounds or broken bones, they did nothing. We've come a long way, and clearly we have a long way to go.

Her family refutes that she said "10" years old, because they weren't in Myrtle Beach then. What they think she said was that she met him in 2010. So she may have said since '10, meaning the officer misunderstood what she was saying.

Honestly I think that is AI in the 911 call, and if he used AI to re-create micas voice then he could have lured her out there with AI of ANYONES voice that he had on recording.
I definitely think she was lured there. And if she did make the call, it was under duress, and “make this call, say this thing, then hang up. If you don’t, then you’re dead anyway and your family is next.”
There are speculations that JP’s lawyer is very tech savvy and owns land backing up to the park where she was found. Paired with the very odd 911 call, I hope the feds are looking…
I’m still trying to figure out how AI could have a conversation with someone who’s asking you questions and having a conversation with you. This is so much planning and plotting to have to go through it it is abundantly clear that Miller is not very bright at all.

@benicio1967 there are apps I could be set up and doing it in an hour or so max, and it's not the best app he got a free or cheap one cause that's why we hear the woman's voice talking right before you hear mica talk in the boosted audio version. That's literally how it works. When you push the button to talk it listens and then makes the voice say it and it can be whoever voice you have a voice recording of.
You cover this story so well. You’re always thorough with all your content. I appreciate all your hard work. It’s sad this case isn’t going anywhere. The suspicious activity and facts around her death are endless but nothing proves irrefutably exactly what happened that day. It’s just such a tragedy.
On a side note: It’s really hard to watch those performances knowing the kind of music they performed in that church. I sincerely don’t know anyone who thinks that kind of music suffices as Christian praise music.

He tells lies so can the church do the same thing as nothing is truthful I have been led to believe allegedly. Deprivation of transportation, or something like that.... A husband took front axle off a beater car we got for me around small town. We lived outside town in middle of 40 acres. He would get home from work and put a locking club (1995!) On steering wheel of the new car he drove. First time left him, a friend picked me and 5th grade dghtr (pre this guy). When I went back to him, 🙄 ,I required car put back together. He never did so towed and shop (properly/safely!) put axle on. Week or so later, during a 'discussion', he said something HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE about me (& ANY other womaN!). As I headed the 15 ft across the room to slap him (6'1", 220 lbs vs me 5'4", 98 lbs at time!) I heard a young woman's voice, " Don't touch him or he'll kill you." I shook my finger in his face and gave him my price of mind! Then, I immediately loaded all I could in that beater car and got out of their with my daughter. I was done. It is VERY SCARY! of course tons more incidents/manipulations/threats but......

My ex husband posted a picture on fb that was a personal picture like that and her got away with it. This case brings up so much emotions because he is just as my ex-husband was. I am five years out from my divorce and the first four I was stocked had to move me and my children three times and change jobs . I Had to deal with everything she talks about and my heart breaks for her.

How is the DA going to prove a case without a complaining witness? Her sister's and dad's hearsay (Mica told me this, Mica told me that) isn't admissible so.....I'm not sure what anyone really thinks would be provable....

The only thing I have been able to find thus far on driving concerns is if a person taking going ON to Lithium, one is not supposed to operate a vehicle just until you see how your body reacts to it but he is taking the car away as a "punishment" for not taking the medication.

I think the “groomed since 10” was meant to mean the year 2010, at least that is what her family has stated, as the family wasn’t even involved with that church then and Mica didn’t know JP at all when she was 10 (again, stated from the family). The error in the report is probably due to either a misinterpretation of what Mica stated, or a simple writing error when the report was written.

I believe there should be a vetting process for Pastors & Priests just like any other job. People need to stop assuming because someone holds the title of Pastor, that it makes them a "good person." Just like not all cops are out to protect & serve. A better system needs to be in place. Also churches NEED to be taxed. If they were taxed, JP never wouldve owned this church. He doesnt play by the rules. Any person with the funds can start a church. How terrifying.

The whole church is like him, they probably knew exactly what he was like. People in the court system should have seen what he was like.
If the state gets control over religion, the JP types will dirty it up. There were plenty of laws in place to protect Mica, but people messed it all up.

Okay so her sister clarified that- the sister says the cop misheard her and that she didn’t meet this dude til she was 14. Her sister thinks she referred to the date or the tenth or something like that. Crime weekly clarified it.
2010 was the date, according to what I read, her age was 14. It's possible the person who recorded the call got it messed up, not Mica.

Point of clarification: Mica first met JP in 2010, not when she was 10.
It is heart wrenching that Mica went through this at all, let alone for so long. I was in a relationship with someone like him and he drove me to the brink of insanity - to the point that I attempted suicide. It’s so sad that this Earth has lost a beautiful soul.
I hope whatever the feds are investigating, it will ensure they are in prison - forever.

About her saying that she was groomed since she was 10, her family said that it might be that the responding officer wrote down the wrong information and she said, she was groomed since 2010 when she was 14.

ALAYNA MARISSA: Please if someone can get this to her--has she tried either battered women's shelters OR transitional housing in your state???? Cars are not safe for you especially at night and sitting in them to sleep can lead to health issues long term--especially as others have related to me--with the physical heart being affected. 211 can in my experience give you shelters, but you can google at the library or on your phone if you have one for shelters specifically for fleeing domestic violence or transitional living places. Often times they will/might have a curfew and it can be very strict and there is a lot of work that needs to be done improving these types of transitional housing places but it might be a good option for you right now. Worth a look see.
Women's shelters are apparently not terribly safe.
Coercive control has recently become an offence here in Australia, its a step in the right direction
