Whoever did pull the trigger had amazing control over that weapon for the trajectory to go straight across so exit and entrance wounds were identically located from the midpoint…. I mean, that shows NO recoil… I have never seen anyone, much less a woman, hold a 9mm with one hand and have NO recoil effect on the trajectory.
If she had been holding the weapon with 2 hands, and wasn’t at all emotional and had total control of everything, sure. No recoil is expected. But one handed in an emotional setting when she was allegedly sobbing up the moment the weapon discharged? No. We should have seen recoil affect the trajectory. Exit wound should have been closer to midpoint than entrance wound.
Also physically... He made her do awful sexual things and hurt her physically.

GF could you please explain that it takes a person an average of 8 times to leave their abuser & the most dangerous time for a person is immediately after leaving, serving divorce papers or finalizing a divorce.
This is why I asked my brother and step dad for help leaving and came back to my home state. I was taking my kids and getting away!

Lady, obviously distressed, uses a Sig 9mm, and shoots herself perfectly so entrance is exactly above right ear and exit is exactly same spot above left ear! Perfect straight thru shot? I DONT BUY IT!! That Sig probably has a trigger pull near 4 or even 5 pounds. Most people have a hard time shooting them with two hands. Weight of trigger pull often pulls the shot off center. Typical personal unalivings are two hands under the chin and up, or through the back of the mouth. Many in the temple. Perfect one handed shot after a clean miss and an ejected live round? NOPE! CANT CONVINCE ME. There is more to it than that.

Mica's dad stated in an interview that she is familiar in the use of firearms. She's no stranger to using weapons, apparently he showed her how to use them.
There is more than we might ever see in this life, as far as this event is concerned. I think he mind controlled her, I don't think she knew what she was doing if that's actually her in the 911 call.
@shaggy1958 - I totally agree. How could it be a perfect straight line (and the "entrance" is bigger than the "exit" wound)? Most dont realize these guns are heavy, particularly when you try to hold it up at the height and angle of right above the ear (yourself). I wonder why there was a muzzle mark on her skin as well - doubtful a woman would be able to A) press hard enough on the skin for it to be notated on the ME report and B) be strong and dexterous enough to place the muzzle completely straight above the ear then pull the trigger.

I live in Canada, even if they are arrested for threats they pretty much get out the next day and are on parole. Some don’t even get arrested, just are talked too. It’s ridiculous!

She had gotten a new job, that actually paid instead of the church jobs he had her doing. New roommate, new church.
She bought the gun for PROTECTION. This guy is dangerous and darned sneaky. She was trying to expose his theft from church funds and his awful abuse. She was ready to start over.

Spent nearly 15 years in a "relationship" just exactly like Mica's..constantly doing damage control..waiting for him to melt down over something real or imagined, it didn't matter. The threats and destruction of my personal property is a trigger for sure. It took years to shake free of all the bs and i don't know if i can ever trust that another relationship won't blow up in my face again. So I got a 🐕 instead.

Haha! Me, too. I was doing something else as I listened, so wasn't watching and thought, "Is that it? That ended abruptly." Gavin's self-deprecation reminded me of a situation that happened to me at work where I forgot to change a setting on a program and didn't notice for an hour. When I noticed that the setting was incorrect, I called myself a stupid girl. I think that was over a year ago, and I haven't made the same mistake again. LOL

Did y’all notice a lot of words Mica said were the exact same words “she said” in the bizarre 911 call on April 27th? To me, there was no AI generated call….he used words from this call and pieced it together.
And with his lawyer friend who is an AI expert, he could really do a great job anyway. His lawyer's property is right on the river and the park.

I think that she was kidnapped. I think there was someone in her car after the pawn shop and they forced her into that part of the woods & they shot her.. @GF: I would like to say you hit the nail on the head exactly when you was talking about his behavior showing his mental illness more then showing Mica having a mental illness! I am 36 years old and my mother was diagnosed as bipolar since before I was born and I know the typical behaviors and sometimes they will be doing great and everything is normal for awhile and then they can have some mild changes like something they was perfectly fine about a couple of hours ago all of a sudden there’s an issue. I’ve seen the complete breakdowns that make reality flip upside down for them where they can’t tell what’s real and what’s not. I’ve seen the severe depressed states that they’re just so low and unhappy they don’t eat, dont shower, sleep or stay in the bed 24/7 and I’ve seen the highs when they are stacked with energy and want to go and be happy and life is great! JP obviously has a problem with control which I believe there was more there causing that like maybe if she wasn’t under his thumb she knew his sins and he didn’t want her to break away from him and decide to spill the beans. However even with the control issues if you notice sometimes the thought of her leaving makes him go crazy and he said he wanted to self delete and yet he packed up her stuff ( he decided what to let her have and didn’t pack her good clothes and items) and took to peoples homes for her to stay there cause he said she couldn’t come home. It’s the back and forth with him and the changes and swings he does with his behavior and if he wants Mica or doesn’t want Mica all of that is his mental illness coming out as it’s very obvious. I know some have claimed he was diagnosed with schizophrenia idk if he is or not cause I don’t know him not can I diagnose him but I will say living my entire life with family who was bipolar and other mental illnesses he acts exactly like my mother and others as I was growing up. Through everything and all the reports and all the ups and downs and harassing and threatening JP’s mental state and mood would jump up and down and Mica seemed to maintain herself and keep walking forward keeping her eye and mind on what she needed to do. To me it’s very very clear who had mental illness and needed the help!!

The building was purchased by JP's family and he appointed himself "Pastor" and recruited the members on his own. He surrounded himself with yes men and women who would blindly follow him. Anyone who questioned his character was chased out and smeared by him. This was a cult run by a narcissistic psychopath, not a church.
They're as bad as he is.....they and LE are culpable in the torture and death of Mica. IMHO

Turns out the internal investigation, the entrance and exit wounds were misidentified on reports, so the investigation kept saying she had done it.
It all feels so intentional.

The fact that he received a pardon for such a heinous crime, speaks volumes of the influence he has with authorities and how easily he can manipulate them to his benefit and to get away with everything. It's disgusting.

@ 52:53 - what isnt talked about at all (and should be) is the fact that when someone cries, even if it's a good cry to yourself in an area that carries sound or echos - you wouldnt be able to hear a cry across a river unless it was a loud desperate cry (like a "please dont kill me" cry). Say someone is about to take their life at the edge of a river and is contemplating life and the decision, I cannot see them crying so loud that someone in a boat (with a running motor) could hear them. That is one of several reasons I think the Fisherman is in on it (even mildly as the guy that was supposed to be a "witness" to corroborate the suicide narrative - also to take her things to make sure nothing she had was damning to JP).

She made the 911 call before the man who was fishing heard her (presumably) crying, correct? If Mica knew she was planning to end her life in the hours before she did, which she’d have to have known…she left her family’s home that day as if nothing was wrong, she made future plans with friends, & she went to Dick’s Pawn Shop and bought a gun without setting off any alarms for anyone….the security video doesn’t show a woman on the brink of suicide, in my opinion. That’s all pretty normal for someone who has been suffering for an extended period of time, and who decides to end their suffering permanently. They are sometimes downright giddy because the choice has been made…they feel like they have control over their life for the first time in a very long time. It sounds counterintuitive, and I don’t know if I believe Mica did this herself, but if she did, I would understand her behavior leading up to it. She would have known that she had the power now, and that she was going to shut it all down.
However, there’s a difference between making the decision, and actually following through with the act. Mica didn’t have a relationship with the 911 operator who randomly answered her call, so she was able to be matter-of-fact about the situation. If it really was her, I don’t know if I believe it was. But leaving the car, heading toward the water with a gun in her hand, and being a woman who was so profoundly invested in her religion & her relationship with God, it would have been overwhelming. Even if she really wanted to say goodbye to this world & every painful thing she had been dealing with…even though she believed she knew what was waiting for her on the other side, she didn’t. None of us does. She would have prayed, she would have talked to God, and she would have begged him to forgive her weakness. I can imagine that would be incredibly emotional. I can imagine that thinking about holding a gun to your head & pulling the trigger is a whole lot different than actually doing it. So, her affect could have been totally flat & disconnected while on the phone with 911 - but changed dramatically when she was face-to-face with what comes next.
She did all of the things consistent with staring a new life, new job, apartment, roommate, church, rebaptised. Filed for a restraining order and divorce.
That gun was for protection. That guy is nuts and a pimp, all the things he made her do means he is violent and wanted her gone. She was trying to expose him.

@@DrAnderson1 I have heard there is calm once the decision is made. Crying would have been unlikely, unless it was someone else going to delete her.
All the circumstances point to her NOT doing this to herself. And many things point to JP being the one mentally deranged, and a life of abusive behavior, and this "death" looks like stage suicide.

She also had 500.00 in cash, as if she was going to an appointment to pay that money, and her belongings were not in the car either. If she planned on taking her own life, why fill the gas tank, why bringing her belongings with her? Why wearing her uniform? And why was she on Fairbluff, then her body was in another location? And coincidentally, JPs friend owns property there where her body was found.

As a survivor of dv the only answer that I can give you is that it’s just easier because they beat you down so much that you are just so tired of worrying about when he will hurt you next or he may hurt someone you love that it’s easier to go back, be unhappy but try to keep him happy because why bother? He has told you that if you leave he will kill you but you just get so exhausted emotionally, physically, mentally…until there is no fight or hope left in you. Some call it battered woman’s syndrome. Look that up it may help you understand better. I got lucky, he cheated on me and after warning this girl about what I went through and to run, she didn’t believe me but I, like JPs first wife got an easy way out. I’m sure his new GF is getting the same treatment that I did. I pleaded with her to not stay with him but he told her that I was crazy, they love to throw that word around to people, that’s ok, I will be crazy and free! I just feel so bad for Mica and wonder if JPs first wife warned her at all?…she probably did but they are so manipulative and are just everything you’ve ever wanted in a man…in the beginning.
Because she probably feared for her life and was trying to de-escalate the situation and also fear for her family.
Because leaving a man like that is statistically even far more likely to be deadly than staying with him. And she had children to stay alive for.

I went back to mine after he tried to kill me with a butcher knife. I was mentally and emotionally coerced and in a sense brainwashed. The fear of what would happen to me if I tried to leave outweighed what would happen if I stayed & played along.
Coercive control and likely he threatened to extort and blackmail her. I left a man like this. The mental manipulation leaves you unable to think straight. He said he was going to off himself. She suffered for 10+ years.

Gavin. It's been claimed that JPs eccentric behavior is caused by SA inflicted on him by his father. His father has been found guilty of sexual relations with teenagers and men.
No one is born 'evil' but someone is made 'evil'. It seems a credible explanation of JPs strange sexual behavior.

GF IMO she would have had the time to leave a note if she had planned this or to leave her family a voice note so they would know and also know where she could be found. It was also said that there is no phone reception in the park whete she was found. This just doesn't make sense, no matter how one looks at it...

There are lots of places closer to her where she could have done it, including her apartment. No way she had to go so near his lawyer friend's property, in a swamp area, walk in, after saying she wanted her family to find her body.

GF what caused me to think that she did do it herself is actually the 2 spent rounds. I don’t know why someone shooting her would shoot twice, but I can imagine that she would shoot one before she shot herself considering the last time she tried this, the gum didn’t work. Maybe she wanted to make sure it was working first. I still have a tinge of doubt about that though, and think there still could be a chance someone else did it.

GF : About the entrance wound. The paperwork is a little confusing. You read the size as 1/2"x 1/2", but the paperwork says 1 1/2" x 1/2". I don't think the 1 is referring to the number of wounds, if so then the there would most likely be a 1 in front of the "exit wound" measurement. Also, it is quite clear by grammar they are talking about a singular wound, so why add the number one only after the "entrance wound to denote number of wounds?
"GF" in Mica's last 911 call the dispatcher stated to Mica that "you are not in Robeson County". Why then did Robeson County Sheriff respond and attempt to locate Mica? Why did they cross state lines to get involved? Did they do this to botch the investigation in favor of JP Miller? The State park is outside Robeson County jurisdiction.

That depends on the kind of ammo used. Range rounds tend to go through the tissue. If it was a self defense rounds, hollow point so when it hits soft tissue and it expands where it is less likely to exit.
