Hearing Ewan McGregor say that he gets really nervous (particularly, how he describes it) is amazing. All I can think of are the amazing deliveries he has produced in his acts. It leaves me in awe.

I think this is one of the best Actor’s Roundtables because these Actors kind of ignore her and have a conversation amongst themselves. And Billy Bob Thornton is so chill and real.
i think one of the unspoken things about these features is how well edited they are. just imagine the amount of seamless cutting people don't pick up on.
I agree Riz is dope. But if he wasnt brown and say something equally unimportant, would you need to mention it? If he was left handed, would it matter? Pointing out the color of his skin as if it matters to you speaks to your obsession with it, which is kinda cringey.
8:27 wow this is crazy in a room with all these great actors. billy bob Thornton energy just drew everyone in and he said some really profound stuff right here
Billy is a fantastic actor. His thoughts on performance and acting I couldn't possibly disagree more, but it is fascinating how many processes there are to get to the character.
I don't know why, but a few people keep mixing up Josh Holloway (the actor who played Sawyer in Lost) with Stephen Galloway (the dude who used to do these roundtables). It is hilarious to me and I hope it keeps happening
Y'all complaining about poor Lacey Rose and her "ahem" and "suuuuuure"s, but do you REALLY want fuckin' Holloway back??!!! ¬¬ No, sir. At least Lacey seems to be LISTENING and not interrupting. Let's get one thing straight: all moderators HAVE TO interrupt at some point, otherwise, one person can speak for hours at a time and divert from the main subject/question and chaos would ensue. It's all in the way and timing of said interruption. And, guess what? Lacey KNOWS how and when to interrupt somebody. So, no, I'll take her "ahem"s ANY FUCKIN' DAY of the week over that creep Holloway. #LeaveLaceyAlone #JusticeForLacey
Oh come on. She doesn't need justice. It's us who need it from her annoying "hmmms" and "aahaans" and "Suree". I mean stop interrupting. Let the actors speak.
The hosts interviewing technique is so much better than the other guy, she actually acknowledges what the actors are saying and segways properly between topics, rather than just randomly skipping through topics

I base my parenting on Big Fish
@@leannedrecun7487 I love this
Man, I love this format.. It's not like all the other stuff out there. Post and pre-production interviews and shallow garbage. It's engaging and almost like participating in a deep insightful conversation on every artists unique take on their form as people rather than porcelain dolls on a pedestal. Whoever suggested this is brilliant.
Agreed! I just wish they’d double the time 😭 make it an average of at least 2/ 2.5 hours long. Like a hearty podcast
So,when an actor finishes his /her movie, they feel the same as when one finishes a good book.Never knew that.
I think this is one of the best Actor’s Roundtables because these Actors kind of ignore her and have a conversation amongst themselves. And Billy Bob Thornton is so chill and real.
Sterling Wright's observation on working with confident colleagues is so perfect.

"It's extremely important thing in your life to have something that's more important to you than yourself."
Golden words!
i think one of the unspoken things about these features is how well edited they are. just imagine the amount of seamless cutting people don't pick up on.
Jeffrey Wright such an underrated actor!!! And Billy Bob too...
Never heard of Sterling K. Brown before this. I love him. What a great character.
I'VE LITERALLY NEVER CLICKED ON A LINK THIS FAST
Dude dogs can be trained and act it aint that hard...ohhhh whats this and that bitch STFU
DO. NOT. YELL!
Smoked a joint, started painting and hit play. Two minutes in Lithgow makes me tear up.
Riz Ahmed is fucking amazing in every role he does. What a badass brown guy!
You sound like a fucking idiot.
@@chriswinston1223 that would be you.
I agree Riz is dope. But if he wasnt brown and say something equally unimportant, would you need to mention it?
If he was left handed, would it matter?
Pointing out the color of his skin as if it matters to you speaks to your obsession with it, which is kinda cringey.
You're a very small racist human
@@econvosworld1317 Everybody is, you too.
8:27 wow this is crazy in a room with all these great actors. billy bob Thornton energy just drew everyone in and he said some really profound stuff right here
"uh huh uh huh uh huh sure sure sure"
OneRequiem123 🙉 drove me bonkers
Yeah, she should shut the fuck up
"Fo shizzle, fo shizzle."
Agreed.
*sigh* def needs some new "active listening sounds"...or silence.
Fascinating discussion - so glad the moderator let the actors take the conversation where it went
Such a heartfelt panel!
I love how passionate Sterling K. Brown is!!!!!
WHY DONT THEY TRY A MUSICIAN ROUNDTABLE? like heavy meatal, or hiphop artist. would be interesting to hear them converse.
wizya silupumbwe
What a great idea! 👊
Thatd be amazing
I think they would just start having sex and consuming cocaine while humming
Well need subtitles for Ozzy Osbourne
Great idea, I'd choose different genres tho
Billy is a fantastic actor. His thoughts on performance and acting I couldn't possibly disagree more, but it is fascinating how many processes there are to get to the character.
I don't know why, but a few people keep mixing up Josh Holloway (the actor who played Sawyer in Lost) with Stephen Galloway (the dude who used to do these roundtables). It is hilarious to me and I hope it keeps happening
WAAAIIITTTT..
This is not the inaugural year?
how does this round table only have 400k views, one of the better ones ive seen! Really enjoyable to watch! thanks!
Billy bob thorton is so interesting
Yes, he is a real artist. He has such an interesting perspective on things.
And Ewan McGregor isn't.
@@grahamjackmacpherson6501 subjective. I love Ewan!
@@grahamjackmacpherson6501 All of them are interesting.
@@brandonburrell8517 except Ewan. He's not very interesting, and he knows it.
These are a real treat to watch.
#LeaveLaceyAlone #JusticeForLacey
people just gotta bitch about something...
Cow Commando seriously. Seems like the only purpose of the comments section these days.
Oh come on. She doesn't need justice. It's us who need it from her annoying "hmmms" and "aahaans" and "Suree". I mean stop interrupting. Let the actors speak.
Derek Sunario - Cool, let's go back to Halloway then. Shut it down! It didn't work.
Cow Commando rdwf
I could listen to Thornton for hours.
Lithgow is no slouch, but Wright is a BRILLIANT man.
Oh man, I love these guys, especially John, Jeffrey and Ewan. Wow!
Riz Ahmed & Ewan McGregor have a kinship, i guess that's what happens when you have a common enemy [thinking of you Darth]
@@nezhakandoussi3246 ewan's Scottish, dude...
@@nezhakandoussi3246 HAHAHAHA
Boris Johnson?
Bwahahahahaha!
I noticed THAT, thought it was a nationality thingy.
How have I haven’t seen any of these amazing interview series until now.
This may be one of the best THR round-tables I've ever seen..
Get someone that looks at you the way Sterling K Brown looks at Billy Bob Thornton
The hosts interviewing technique is so much better than the other guy, she actually acknowledges what the actors are saying and segways properly between topics, rather than just randomly skipping through topics
“The other guy” must've some name?
DAMN! this round table looks intense
There's something about this table that has all the Hollywood magic you could wish for.
This is such a BALLIN group.
The host really knows how to let it breathe and let cool things come out of the actors
John Lithgow is enormous. He makes Riz look like a hobbit.
Yea. But Riz's talent is huge, so it balances out! :)
Riz has a bigger penis
jay35833, and you know that how? Riz has never done a fully nude scene in any of his films, not that I can recall. Keep dreaming....
I think that's a lot of why he got cast in The World According To Garp; he's much too big to rock a knee length ensemble.
John Lithgow is basically the american Stephen Fry
