Yep. Two actors who are still dedicated to their craft. I see lots of talented actors settle into the familly life and lose the lustre for improvement.
The sound of their voices so calm and peaceful, I really like the way they listen to each other without pretending. They don't need to show their ego, through humility their greatness also shines through.
I love the way they speak in the same time and both of them are okay with it. They so much immerse into each other that did not look away for a second. This conversation gave me a lot of pleasure, thank you, Variety.
A pinnacle episode. Brief but spectacular discussion. Two in particular, “…that journey … of leaving your entire history and identity behind…” “forward thinking in opposition to the past.”
Adrien Brody has a bit of a spotty filmography (Pianist and Budapest Hotel classics), but he's kind of the best actor of his generation. Hyped for his come back, so hope he keeps doing good stuff.
variety should double down on the revenue streams from this opportunity by uploading the raw video of the mastershot angle of the entirety of this exchange---all that sounds clinical reading it back but ive just had coffee and hash so let me try this again. Variety should just give this to us RAW. The amount of subtleties one can mine from the mountains of talent these two are could train any attentive student of cinema in the multitudes of just how expressive the artform is and how infectious the allure of this inexplicable artistry can be to the whole gamut of personalities out there--see here i am again, rambling.
@@williamdavis8076IKR? It was every inch deserving of an Oscar. I saw him on stage in London a few weeks ago and he was incredible. For my money he's become one of the best actors of his generation.
I think acting is about making do with what you got and, to everyone's delight and internalised frustration of one's own shortcomings, reminding us all of the very real possibility of the impossible.
Tilda Swinton leaves me speechless. She is striking, graceful yet terrifying at the same time...Scorpionic energy. She would have been a superb Elven Wizard (like Cate Blanchett) in The Lord of the Rings movies. The first time I recognized her as an actress was her role, as the Life Extension coordinator, in Vanilla Sky. 🤍🙂↕️🪽
this is the only pairing i was interested in, and they DELIVERED 🤌 honestly i could just watch them looking each other in the eyes for 30 minutes and be satisfied 😂
These are real actors here.

Variety saving the best for last, these two are a rare gem. Their wit and charm draw you in, making them a joy to listen to from dusk till dawn.
Tilda just looks like a mystical fairy godmother
Absolutely! Her uniqueness of look has always amazed me and inspired me.
The Swinton family is literally one of the oldest in Britain, dating back to Anglo-Saxon times. She probably is a fairy godmother!
Probably she got the role as The White Witch!
My one complain is the short time. I could listen to them for hours. Brilliant actors .
The sound of their voices so calm and peaceful, I really like the way they listen to each other without pretending. They don't need to show their ego, through humility their greatness also shines through.
I love how serene they are. It was a beautiful conversation.
Two of my favorite actors. This is a sublime combination.
My favorite Tilda Swinton role is her as the Ice Witch in the first Narnia movie. Her performance in that mesmerized me.
I remember her screaming "THE BiG CAT IS DEEEAD" (i saw it in german: "DIE GROSSE KATZE IST TOOOT!") so memorable!!
Two of the most underrated actors of all time. We should bow to them. True Legends.
I love the way they speak in the same time and both of them are okay with it. They so much immerse into each other that did not look away for a second. This conversation gave me a lot of pleasure, thank you, Variety.
I want Tilda Swinton skincare, she doesn’t age and just glows
A pinnacle episode. Brief but spectacular discussion. Two in particular, “…that journey … of leaving your entire history and identity behind…” “forward thinking in opposition to the past.”
She is the most interesting actress arguably in the world…she just does not take this acting thing too seriously. She just does what she wants to do
Her and Emma Thomson and Helena Bonham Carter just dont give a toss what anyone thinks. They do their own thing.
God I love Adrien Brody
Smooth guy
@@HeavenlyBuckets Me too. We never hear anything bad about him.
@@Heroliesinyou yeah...
I Simply ADORE Tilda Swinton who is a Straight Up QUEEN! She is a BRILLIANT Actor!!!! Watch "Orlando "...you will be AMAZED!!!! xoxoxoxoxo
Sheer.. Ebony & Ivory talking together like a triumph classical piece!! How passion transpires in 2 living actor bodies!!
Only half an hour for these two unique artists, really Variety??? This needed to be two hours long, at the least!
These two are next level
Adrian is one of my favorite actors. He's underappreciated. He looks so charming now.🤩
Tilda doesn't get the credit she deserve she's a masterclass
His mother has collected quite the assortment of photographs
Favourite pairing of all time!!!
Two legendary actors! Love this comibinatin
Adrien Brody, one of those who inspired me to be an actor ❤
Great référence. Advice from m'y marketing expérience: use social media to show your talent . Even in the comments liké this popel might look you up
Adrien Brody has a bit of a spotty filmography (Pianist and Budapest Hotel classics), but he's kind of the best actor of his generation. Hyped for his come back, so hope he keeps doing good stuff.
2 of Wes Anderson’s fav actors!!
this combo is chef's kiss
These two can ACT
I welcome us all to the gathering of two ethereal beings
The older Adrien Brody gets, he becomes so gorgeous
Yes. I agree. He looks better now than before.
2 LEGENDS of Cinema 🌟🌟
adrien has always been so fine.
This video/interaction is amazing.
Just to help those who wonder: the German town they speak of filming Grand Budapest Hotel in is Görlitz :)
Great pairing right here.
A conversation between two gods.
They saved the best for last❤
What an extraordinary conversation by two outstanding actors.
Real TALENT.
We need to see one of these with Brady Corbet and Michael Haneke, a Funny Games reunion
finally real actors on actors
Love them both
Just as how silence is equally important in a musical composition, so is the 'easy-rider-approach' to cinematic acting: presence>dramatics
OMG. Two of my absolute favorites ❤
Both of them are amazing ❤❤❤
The one who matches them must get a raise 😅❤
Real legends 🔥🔥🔥🔥
He's fascinating to listen to ❤️ and so beautiful 😍
Constantine, my favorite movie as a child 🪽
the Brodyquest continues
30 minutes is barely enough Time for these two legendary human beings. It’s a travesty
a proper conversation!
2 legends ❤❤❤
So in love with both of them ❤

they are each other, but in different fonts
Estos dos actores son LOS ACTORES, GRANDES ACTORES. 😍
Holy shit what a combo
Just WOW❤
legendary
Wes Anderson’s kids
the best ♥︎
Adrien i love you
Wonderfull❤
My tiny child. 😂
Both work in the same movie with wes anderson
Julia is still one of the damndest films I ever saw.
Mallaig is in Scotland?
the grandbudapest hotel reunion
whats the title of that movie where he plays a John Wick type of dude and drives a Buick Grand National?
like old teacher (Tilda) meets her grownup pupil Adrien :)
🤩✨
Layers upon layers of masterful beauty in this wonderful medium 🎨
Żubrówka xD
She is the ethereal being, he, the tortured soul.
Both, act. As true actors are meant to.
Thought I saw Conan O’Brien for a second
he'd have made a good joker
thought it was Conan in the thumbnail
The Ancient One.
♥🎥
ha!
FERNANDA TORRES??
Tilda>Adrien but y'all ain't ready for that conversation 💅
I mean Tilda over almost everybody, but why compare ?
Is it a competition???🤔🤔🤔
@@Heroliesinyou yes. And Tilda wins 💅
Who do you think would disagree with that
@@tibb75 people who aren't ready for this conversation 💅
Everybody likes Tilda but she sent Lazlo to his demise. Just saying.
Is that Thom Yorke?
Without his looks, unfortunately, I think that Adrien Brody lacks ability.
I really loved him in Peaky Blinders. It's a travesty how that season closed.
I disagree! Have you ever seen “The Pianist”? He was amazing in that

100% agree
The Brothers Bloom in one chair and 3,000 Snowpiercer Years of Okja Longing in the other. 🤌❤️🔥
