I'm in a completely different field but I currently find myself in the same situation that Colman is describing here of feeling like there is no place for me there. Him saying that it's ok to find a different avenue for your skillset means a lot to me right now.

I love these roundtables. I’m a sucker for listening to artists talk about process. I used to frequently watch Inside the Actor’s Studio back when James Lipton did it. He was a real character!
Such an amazing grouping. And even among the THR roundtables I think a standout. Love them all for different aspects of their work and looking forward to each performance. I must admit seeing Adrien Brody "back" and as a Brutalism lover this one makes me most intrigued. But we are talking 110 to 100 percent.
I'm a comic book creator, but man do Colman's words ring true about the struggle and the amount of consistent rejection that you have to go through, including those dream projects that crush you when they fall apart. It really is all about feeling like you're providing something, and if not, you'll move on. Love his perspective, it can be applied to so many things. And LOVE love that he did stick around and we all get to benefit.
My return to the movie theater was to see the Top Gun: Maverick and the final Bond movie. Both extremely satisfying. Finally, a reason to go to the movies for different type of films. Definitely, September 5th and The Apprentice are top of my list. A DifferentMan and The Brutalist and Sing Sing. Gladiator last because of my love for the original. My return to the movie theater was to see the Top Gun: Maverick and the final Bond movie. Both extremely satisfying. Finally, a reason to go to the movies for different type of films. Definitely, September 5th and The Apprentice are top of my list. A DifferentMan and The Brutalist and Sing Sing. Gladiator last because of my love for the original. I haven’t seen much of Coleman Domingo’s work, but now i definitely wanna check it out just because of how cool of a person he seems to be!
