I like that Zurg was a Future Buzz, cause this film seems to be able making mistakes and living with them. Buzz learned that his mistake, while devastating at first, led to a great colony to be made, his friend meeting someone and living a loving and fulfilling life, and was able to make the new Space Rangers. Zurg was so stuck trying to fix his mistake from the past that he lost his way and became a menace. Plus, when you think about it, Zurg was a selfish jerk, as he wanted to fix HIS mistake without regards to what he would take away from his friends, as he only cared about his life and being important, not a true Ranger.
It goes against who Zurg is supposed to be in toy story. He’s supposed to be an evil Emperor and Buzz is supposed to be protecting the galaxy from him. Evil buzz is not thatS
Evil Buzz didn't even know Izzy existed, meaning he most likely NEVER saw his partner's last message and just went to that alien space ship and went about trying to "fix his mistake" without realizing that his partner had a granddaughter. He says that she "won't miss who she never met" as if Izzy was just a little girl his partner met, when she met her granddaughter as a baby when Izzy was born. Or maybe I'm wrong and it wasn't meant to be taken like that.
Maybe at Post-Credits Scene it wasn’t evil Buzz who survived but REAL Zurg activated himself? I mean maybe that Zurg armor is alive, but was deactivated after all those years, and explosion from the crystal made this armor to awaken? Or maybe there is a Zurg in the present? Because the armor, warship and robots are from the future. So he must be created at some point.
I wouldn't have sold it as "the movie Andy saw in 1995." I think it would have been fine if it was a reboot of what Andy was a fan of back then. Then we could have had a funny mid credit scene of Andy, now an adult, exiting a theater and saying to whoever he's with (perhaps his own children) that it was "okay" or delivering one of the other comments usually associated with watching a nostalgic reboot.
I'm glad they left the real Zurg's existence open. But this was still supposed to be the movie that Andy saw in theaters back in the late 1990s. And the lore just didn't fit enough for them to say that. Also, despite the lesson, the movie really could've done better without the future Buzz plot. I actually have an idea of how the movie could've been while also giving us the Zurg we love. The movie would be the same until Buzz would get back from his final test flight. Buzz would come to discover that Emperor Zurg has destroyed the laser shield and turned the colony into a city called Z-city. (Think Aku from Samurai Jack) and would need Izzy's help to trigger a rebellion. I would also have established a division between the people who wanted to stay on the alien planet and people who wanted leave the alien planet. Zurg would use propaganda and false promises in order to gain the people who wanted to leave as his followers and have former Zap soldiers become an army known as the Z-Guard. I would also keep Zurg being from the future because of Buzz's multiple test flights with the crystal, causing an anomaly in time and space, accidentally bringing Zurg to the past. I would've later revealed that Zurg, voiced by Keith David in my version, is the great grandson of Cal Burnside, the commander who told Buzz the mission was over. It would then be revealed that the division among the people lead to protests, riots and eventually, civil war, which made Burnside obsessed with keeping order, and he believed in doing it through force and after succeeding, his family would later become leaders of a monarchy that wanted to spread their influence throughout the universe until the Galactic Alliance intervened. Before Zurg went to war with the Galactic Alliance, the anomaly Buzz caused would bring Zurg to the past to collaborate with Burnside, who would pretend to be a prisoner of Zurg to keep the people in line and ensure that there was no war by making those who wanted to leave join Zurg, and ensuring that those who want to stay are kept in line. Zurg's master plan would've been to use the lightspeed crystal to power his ultimate weapon of his Mothership that I call the Hyperspeed Cannon, a weapon with the capacity to destroy an entire planet based on the story Buzz told Woody in the original Toy Story. Zurg plans to basically ransom to keep the Galactic Alliance from interfering with his takeover of the universe and plans to test the weapon on the alien planet that Buzz and everyone is stranded on, which is okay with Burnside as he believes that the people are beyond saving due to Buzz triggering a rebellion. Another major difference would by Izzy's backstory. Making it so that she wants revenge against Zurg because she was forcefully drafted into the Z-Guard as a child and when her parents tried to protect them, they were captured. The last time she would see them was when she was being carried by a Z-Guard member, hovering through space to get to his ship to take her away for the draft, leading to her fear of space. I would've had Darby be a former convict of Star Command turned a member of the Z-Guard, but betrayed Zurg after realizing how much of a tyrant he is. As for Mo, he would've been an orphan who was drafted as a kid, but was kicked out of Zurg's forces due to his cowardly and quitter personality. I also would've built up to building the Buzz final suit for the final battle. Finally, the way I would utilize future Buzz is to have him rescue Buzz after being defeated by Zurg in the first round, only to reveal to past Buzz that he was arrested by Burnside after completing his mission for fifty years, but the anomaly past Buzz caused brought Old Buzz to the future and since then he had taken a ship off planet and lived on the alien planet's moon which would be this universes version of the planet Buzz fought Zurg on at the beginning of Toy Story 2. He would teach Buzz not to get so hung up on the past and help the people steer toward their future and help them find their own path, leading Buzz to the final battle with Zurg on his Mothership. I would also make it so old Buzz would start to slowly disappear the moment he came contact with past Buzz, as he would theorize that a time traveler cannot exist in the same timeline as a version of himself just to make his meeting with past Buzz more dramatic and sad. I know this idea isn't perfect, but i truly think it would've kept to the lore Toy Story gave us and gave us the Zurg we deserved to see in this movie. It basically would've been Pixar's Star Wars, mainly because it's obvious that Buzz Lightyear lore was inspired by Star Wars. Zurg is basically Pixar's Darth Vader. I also would've made one of the post credit scenes of Andy who is coming out of the theater with his mother and them hinting at Andy's birthday the next year, connecting to the first Toy Story, making this movie a prequel.
I like this idea and the whole Hyperspeed Cannon could be like firing a projectiles to planets via crystallic fusion similar to how it was in Star Wars Episode VII: The Last Jedi where Admiral Holdo launched the Raddus to the Supremacy.
Now I hope for the sequel, Future Buzz was damaged enough from the crystal explosion that he's confined into the Zurg mech. Kinda like a Darth Vader type scenario. Than by that point, he becomes the villainous Emperor.
the haters are clowns. i have seen this 4 times and still not bored. so much to unpack and analyze. the science, time dilation, physics were thought out perfectly. the direction and pace of the film were on point. all the minor details were great. the behavior of each character was relatable and well orchestrated. just a good film
Buzz encountered his older self as he became the evil emperor of his mechanical suit with his Zyclops troopers since buzz traveled forward to the future to succeed and fix his mistakes.
Fun Fact: Zurg is Voiced by James Brolin Josh Brolin’s Dad now both Actors have played Villains Josh Brolin as Thanos in the MCU and James Brolin as Zurg in Lightyear
I was really disappointed by the way Zurg, reverse time travel, and crystalic fusion was handled, so I appreciate your optimism about the future of Buzz Lightyear.
My inner fangirl was squealing at a frequency no one should hear during the entire duration of this movie. I absolutely love every minute of it 🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖I honestly hope there's more to come in this amazing storyline and I really loved all the references to the toy story films 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I loved this film so so much, I felt like a nine year old again, I think that the biggest problem of this film was his length, being so short it felt short on a lot of the story, I really really hope lightyear gets a sequel this film definitely feels like a part 1 of 3
I loved it and a good way to explain how old Buzz became Zurg is simply like this, since he traveled back in time and learned he could alter it what he did he saw as for the mission he didn’t care since time would alter and most of none of the people there would exist afterwards and for the robots calling him Zurg it was shown that old Buzz was able to modify the ship’s main computer with his IVAN so maybe the robots calling him Zurg was just a glitch or bug that was created do to his modifications to the ship and he just stopped trying to fix the bug/glitch to focus on his time travel plan. And as an after thought, Buzz Lightyear and others from his in universe series have a lot of references to both Star Wars and Star Trek franchises. Up until Toy Story 4 a single toy from either and when we do it’s two Star Wars classic action figures reacting the scene of Obi-Won cutting off the one character’s arm from the first movie. Maybe an in universe explanation for this is that the two popular sci-fi franchises of our world weren’t as popular in that world, after all in Toy Story 2 Prospector Pete or Stinky Pete I can’t remember his name stated that ever since Spudnick (can’t remember how to spell that Russian satellite’s name) that the only toys kids wanted where space toys. The franchises might have been just another space themed toy series for parents and kids, after all no references where made to the Prequel trilogy of Star Wars. In short The Lightyear franchise maybe just a more recent and popular sci-fi space franchise do to the same reason why Star Wars and Star Trek are popular, world building and allowing one’s imagination to help form the world when they play with their toys/games.
If you think that’s bad enough you should look and see how many countries have completely decided not to even show that movie not to mention that lesbian scene that was not okay that goes as show woke Disney that’s what I call it now has completely gone off the deep end. What I’m more disappointed with is the fact that they’re changing the whole song of the South with Princess and the frog for splash Mountain but I feel like they should’ve just done brother bear or maybe homeward bound as the replacement for the splash Mountain ride.
Actually I have two theories about zurg one. Old buzz stole the spaceship from an alien and found his suit on it, hinting to why the robots call him zurg instead of buzz. Shows that the real zurg is still out there waiting to meet buzz for the last time hinting to the end credits of the zurg suit eyes glowing red. Second theary is buzz's father is zurg in his time line. Hearing his son to be dead and begging star command to try and find but only meet with refusal, he besides to take revenge on star command for killing his son and refusing to find his body
I just watched this this morning (the app literally sent me a notification and I said why not) They seem to be doing a second ad push. My smart tv also is advertising the film coming to Disney+
Zurg and buzz could also have the greatest argument/battle later down the line with Zurg hatred towards himself completely corrupting him as buzz took everything from him and Zurg goal utterly futile.
Personally I think the movie is a better watch when you disconnect it from the Toy story universe and see it as what it is IRL, basically just a reinvention of Bud Light year, a new start, a new reboot.
I have a theory that Star Command sent a Drone to Tekani Prime to help the crew trapped on the planet. The Drone would go so fast at a time of 84 Seconds. But the amount of Seconds the Drone experienced the amount of Years the Humans did. And if you do the Maths that's the amount of years that Buzz had travelled into the Future. So the crew learn that they can use the Drone to travel back to Earth. But by the time they get back, it would've been 168 years since Buzz's first time jump!
Maybe In the Lightyear Sequel, Buzz Lightyear and his team make peace with aliens (LGMS) and form the Galactic Alliance before Buzz was Partners with Warp Darkmatter, Mira, Booster and XR
I had a very similar theory to Zurg being bound to his suit (like Darth Vader) but it was before Lightyear came out. I had a theory that Syndrome used time dilation hyperspeed as well as his zero point energy to survive the jet exploding and then he traveled to the future... also that at some point he fathered Buzz (because the have similar facial features). I hope they make a sequel or a series to follow LIGHTYEAR.
The old buzz stole the zurg suit. The real zurg could still be out three. When he finds out buzz stole and destroyed his stuff, he might not be so happy about that
Finally saw the movie myself and it was fantastic. And I've also read a lot of comments on Zurg and they are just fascinating that I figured I give my own 2 cents on Zurg too. This is Zurg centuries from now meaning he's from the future and was able to travel back in time using Future Buzz as a pawn in his plans. Plus the Zyclops robots are Zurg's soldiers and loyal servants. So here's my theory; Zurg pretended to be dormant within his own body and used both Present Buzz and Future Buzz, gathering data for his diabolical plans of Cosmic Conquest. And when you think about it the Zyclops robots only say "For Zurg" and probably were ordered to acknowledge Future Buzz as another loyal henchmen as well without letting him know it giving Future Buzz a false sense of a superiority. Now that he has what he needs he doesn't need Buzz anymore and probably views him as a minor threat. This could be essential to his character development and will probably come back to bite him in the rear and soon will realize that Buzz is much more of a threat to his plans and will mark him as the very object of his hatred. As for his origins I'm thinking of his character could be akin to Brainiac, the Borg, or the Cybermen. A humanoid turned machine after an apocalyptic event and soon grew into a power hungry tyrant. At least that's my opinion and thoughts on how it could be done in a sequel. Seeing this movie gave me a brain storm for a Cinematic Universe, staring Woody the Sheriff.
I think the movie will probably flop, but not because its a bad movie. It has come out near the releases of Jurassic World: Dominion, Minions: Rise of Gru, and Top Gun: Maverick. It got screwed from the start.
The way future buzz finds the tech just waiting to be used reminds me of Mass Effect, what if Zurg is the suit and it feeds on the knowledge and ambitions of the host. 1. He got the suit, ship and army very easily 2. The Robots are not servants to both Buzz 3. General scifi stuff super ai merges or abuses super soldier or person with the keys to changing literally everything (Freaking time travel and a ship filled with sleeping people)
When I watched Lightyear on Disney+, I felt like I wasn’t done with the story. Like, have we already reached the credits? I really want a sequel or even a trilogy (shout out to Star Wars) that draws more references to the Toy Story descriptions of Buzz and his Space Ranger life. Like how did Zurg become an emperor? This is like a fan’s fever dream come true. Zurg being a future Buzz is a questionable twist but it is really a lesson of which consequences can be made if you do or do not learn from your big mistake.
I understand where you are coming from when you say that Zurg could have been more threatening and more of the Evil Emperor he was claimed to be when he was first introduced, but I also think that he still has time to go from the misunderstood old man that he was in the film to the evil conquerer he is claimed to be.
Never seen the movie myself but from what I've seen and heard of the movie, the origin story of Buzz Lightyear may be different than the animated TV show, the storyline for Lightyear is good. And now that I think about it, this would take place before Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. So this could be a prequel of the animated TV show.
I love your review and after listening to it I hafta no agree with what you said, however there is only one thing that's missing the movie doesn't feel like it came from the 90s so I many of things that did happen in that time wouldn't have been reflected on the movie, all in all the movie is a good modern one
after buzz deafted zurg he might have just confirmed his fate as dieing as zurg as zurg did in the movie. when buzz rejected to give crystal he might have thought of it in a wrong way. when zurg said people didnt welcome me as a hero he might meant he wasnt welcomed as a hero in some other mission after the movie ends could be the mission happening at the end of the movie.
The only reason why I think Zurg wouldn't want to destroy Buzz is because of the butterfly effect. You know, if Zurg did indeed kill Buzz than that would mean he would cease to exist.
You know he wasn't trying to go to earth, they're called colonists when they're on the ship, so they probably came from another planet to another, pretty sure they don't even say they're going to earth
And videos from Isaac Carlson can make videos of amphibia too like those How did the story in the flashbacks of their childhood Anne Sasha and Marcy How Marcy first met Anne Why Sasha and Marcy parents are very bad parents Why Marcy had a sad life moving away and no one wants to be her friend
Lightyear, the movie AND the man, set the standard. The sequel(s), or even a series of shorts, if there will be any, will have to surpass this original movie if Pixar wants to capitalize and invest. #toinfinityandbeyond
Hey Isaac. The best movie that I can compare the Zurg twist to is Friday the 13th Part V - A New Beginning. SPOILER ALERT BELOW!!! Roy Burns became a copycat and stole Jason Voorhees's identity. After that backlash, they brought the real Jason back with Jason Lives and it usually ranks high on people's favorite Friday the 13th movies!!
I just did (watch the movie) I believe everything fits, justs let the next author or same, grow on U, they might have a different path on how they do this, for example the real zurg or something that will trigger the rivalry
after watching lightyear i want a woody movie, like woody is from earth and in the next movie the tech get so advance they find a way to travel space in a ways that they don't have to worry about jumping forward in time, something like teleportation or warping through space like the one you see in guardian of the galaxy, and buzz main missing this time around is to find earth, but by that time earth's tech did not advance as far as they have, or something went wrong and buzz winds up traveling in the past, or the earth became a barren wasteland do to nuclear fallout and reverted back to a wild west like earth where woody lives.... sorry this a long comment.
Yea it isn’t doing very good money wise at the box office. I doubt they will do a sequel. Pixar is not making near as much as they thought they would. Which isn’t surprising given how boring they made a space adventure.
hey Isaac I know you might not read this again, but do you think that Chin 'n' Dale will beaome a couple. somtimes I felt like their was tension between them that was a little more than freindly or angry.
There is another possibility you should consider that the real zerg might still exist in any timeline he went so far into the future that it's possible he might have died out And His technology that far in was the most advanced thing by far so and by far so the zerg that exists in the current time period might be more powerful now So the real zodiac versus evil old buzz And I don't see how people didn't see old buzz as a threat that was him locked in an obsession to the point where he became psychotic even though who is he was an he remembers seeing a video of her as an infant or something It basically shows the psychosis of 2 sides of the same person Old buzz may not be the evil emperor zurg but hes definitely still the bad guy especially if hes willing to commit acts that defied his training as a space ranger
We actually don’t know if the galactic alliance is a democracy. I assume likely not, since many other alien sources would likely be against that, given that it is an inherently human - namely Western - style of government. Likely it’s something closer to the galactic republic, which is more like the UN.
I haven’t seen this new movie yet and I think is likely that Disney Pixar will a origin story of Woody character of Toy Story as well not just Woody maybe Jessie and Bullseye because these characters were part of Woody’s roundup and if they do a origin story of Woody I would love to see that because Woody is my favorite character of the toy story franchise and I a western cowboy guy and Woody was the reason why I became so fascinated with the old west
Hi Issac, I'm a long-time sub and I have a question for you if Zurg from the movie revealed himself to be the future of buzz himself how come they didn't get zap and return to where they are supposed to be because in another movie like for example Mr. Peabody and Sherman when Sherman went back in time to where he and Mr. Peabody existed because Sherman 1 thought that he lost Mr. Peabody so he went back in time to where Mr.Peabody and he still existed that set off an unbalance space-time continuum and then time blew up because the two Shermans were next each other and they got zapped to their own time neared the end of the movie because the space-time continuum couldn't handle two Shermans in the same timeline??
I like that Zurg was a Future Buzz, cause this film seems to be able making mistakes and living with them. What if he stole from the actual entity that is the real ZURG

@Iceie so zurg is an alien or could it be misdirection
@Iceie so I guess they are going with the cartoon origin of zurg
@Iceie Ikr lol, but I was hoping for buzz's father to be zurg but built up over many movies.

My biggest problem with it was that it didn’t feel like a 90s movie, and Taika Waititi. Other than that, it’s a typical kids movie. Nothing special
I hope Zurg get his own team in the Lightyear sequels.

Here’s a question that I think would be a great video…
What was it about the Lightyear movie that resonated with Andy?
Maybe it’s just bc he’s a little boy that found all of Buzz’s abilities cool?? He mostly only cared for the toy
Because he didn’t have a father figure and Buzz could help stand in for that, same with Woody

1:33 It zoomed in the back of my mind too!
Maybe the writers this movie . Based a lot of BLOSC episode with parwell evil Buzz Light-year
The galaxy is less then 1 million light years
They might Rebuild Sox into XR?!
I doubt it, I think they’ll continue to ignore Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
I hope we get a sequel
(But it’s unlikely since it failed at the box office)
I just watched this this morning (the app literally sent me a notification and I said why not)
They seem to be doing a second ad push. My smart tv also is advertising the film coming to Disney+
Zurg and buzz could also have the greatest argument/battle later down the line with Zurg hatred towards himself completely corrupting him as buzz took everything from him and Zurg goal utterly futile.
Maybe buzz was on a BNL ship maybe BNL can see into the future
Personally I think the movie is a better watch when you disconnect it from the Toy story universe and see it as what it is IRL, basically just a reinvention of Bud Light year, a new start, a new reboot.
There’s a possibility that their’s another Zurg that could be the original Zurg, maybe, that’s just theory that no one is talking about at the moment.
But the pizza planet aliens aren’t from the buzz franchise
@@shardsoftime0952 but they were in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command series and they confirmed it’s still canon
I want woody to be seen soon since he had a show in toy story 2 woodys roundup I believe
Traveling back in time changing history ⌚
So Zerg is a regretful Pixar version of Lord Drakkon from the Shattered Grid arc of the Boom Studios Power Rangers comic books. Neat.
When he finds out buzz stole and destroyed his stuff,
he might not be so happy about that
I think someone or something will find zurg, he was badly damaged so they made an upgrated suit that we see in Toy Story
The fact that he didn't hesitate to kill/destroy socks his only companion for years it made me know he's Evil
a Bugs Life toys were in the background of toy story2 maybe BNL can see into the future. Maybe its from the future
Taking revenge on yourself is the dumbest idea I've ever heard.
Hi how are you doing today
Doing good
@@IcyDiamond glad Hear it
I think the movie will probably flop, but not because its a bad movie.
1. He got the suit, ship and army very easily
2. The Robots are not servants to both Buzz
If time travel exist maybe buzz traveled back to earth and told everyone the future
I understand where you are coming from when you say that Zurg could have been more threatening and more of the Evil Emperor he was claimed to be when he was first introduced, but I also think that he still has time to go from the misunderstood old man that he was in the film to the evil conquerer he is claimed to be.
Wonder If Amphibia had elements of nute
Never seen the movie myself but from what I've seen and heard of the movie, the origin story of Buzz Lightyear may be different than the animated TV show, the storyline for Lightyear is good. And now that I think about it, this would take place before Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. So this could be a prequel of the animated TV show.
I love your review and after listening to it I hafta no agree with what you said, however there is only one thing that's missing the movie doesn't feel like it came from the 90s so I many of things that did happen in that time wouldn't have been reflected on the movie, all in all the movie is a good modern one
after buzz deafted zurg he might have just confirmed his fate as dieing as zurg as zurg did in the movie. when buzz rejected to give crystal he might have thought of it in a wrong way. when zurg said people didnt welcome me as a hero he might meant he wasnt welcomed as a hero in some other mission after the movie ends could be the mission happening at the end of the movie.
i want more theories about Narnia
Why couldn't the robot cat remember one fuel mixture? That part made no sense to me
I agree. How could he not just memorize the four numbers?
if the alternate timeline happend Buzz and all the other rangers would conutie living on Earth, then Izzy, Mo, and Darby would live on Earth too.
Maybe buzz lightyear older stopped being a space ranger because of the failure mission
so smart
Buzz: Dad?..
Me: **Gasp** his dad??
Zurg: think again.
Me: **Gasp** Buzz Aldrin?!!
**Shows dog tags**
Me: future buzz..? 😱**GASP** Future Buzz!!!
I have a question how come you never did a video on the Disney era of power rangers?
How does Light year fit in the mixer theory
Maybe BNL can see into the future. A bugs life toys were in the background in Toy Story2
Where can i watch it
The only reason why I think Zurg wouldn't want to destroy Buzz is because of the butterfly effect. You know, if Zurg did indeed kill Buzz than that would mean he would cease to exist.
You know he wasn't trying to go to earth, they're called colonists when they're on the ship, so they probably came from another planet to another, pretty sure they don't even say they're going to earth
Maybe the zurge soul for all that time all that was left was his own robot body ⌚
i would love to see Lightyear 2 or starwars clonewars style series
They said they confirmed that Buzz Lightyear of Star Command is canon
And videos from Isaac Carlson can make videos of amphibia too like those
How did the story in the flashbacks of their childhood Anne Sasha and Marcy
How Marcy first met Anne
Why Sasha and Marcy parents are very bad parents
Why Marcy had a sad life moving away and no one wants to be her friend
I love the movie I brought my toy story toys in the theater with me and I loved this movie
Lightyear, the movie AND the man, set the standard. The sequel(s), or even a series of shorts, if there will be any, will have to surpass this original movie if Pixar wants to capitalize and invest.
#toinfinityandbeyond
Can someone explain now how in toy story 2 they say zurg is buzz dad but he’s buzz in the future
I suppose poor continuity.
Zurg being Buzz from the future is non canon.
This was such a great film. REALLY enjoyed it!
Hey Isaac. The best movie that I can compare the Zurg twist to is Friday the 13th Part V - A New Beginning. SPOILER ALERT BELOW!!!
Roy Burns became a copycat and stole Jason Voorhees's identity.
After that backlash, they brought the real Jason back with Jason Lives and it usually ranks high on people's favorite Friday the 13th movies!!
im sad the vines weren’t some alien cuz they were a huge part of the movie for nothing
First of all, Encanto was popular even before Disney plus.
Sequel productions probably none since this film has already failed at the box office
I just did (watch the movie) I believe everything fits, justs let the next author or same, grow on U, they might have a different path on how they do this, for example the real zurg or something that will trigger the rivalry
amazing☆
Question:Did you get BLOSC and SW vibes
after watching lightyear i want a woody movie, like woody is from earth and in the next movie the tech get so advance they find a way to travel space in a ways that they don't have to worry about jumping forward in time, something like teleportation or warping through space like the one you see in guardian of the galaxy, and buzz main missing this time around is to find earth, but by that time earth's tech did not advance as far as they have, or something went wrong and buzz winds up traveling in the past, or the earth became a barren wasteland do to nuclear fallout and reverted back to a wild west like earth where woody lives.... sorry this a long comment.
That’s okay.
Yea it isn’t doing very good money wise at the box office. I doubt they will do a sequel. Pixar is not making near as much as they thought they would. Which isn’t surprising given how boring they made a space adventure.
I enjoyed the light year movie too
hey Isaac I know you might not read this again, but do you think that Chin 'n' Dale will beaome a couple. somtimes I felt like their was tension between them that was a little more than freindly or angry.
I don't like the idea of Zurg being Buzz father. I think Zurg being an ever robot emperor would of worked better.
There is another possibility you should consider that the real zerg might still exist in any timeline he went so far into the future that it's possible he might have died out And His technology that far in was the most advanced thing by far so and by far so the zerg that exists in the current time period might be more powerful now So the real zodiac versus evil old buzz
And I don't see how people didn't see old buzz as a threat that was him locked in an obsession to the point where he became psychotic even though who is he was an he remembers seeing a video of her as an infant or something It basically shows the psychosis of 2 sides of the same person Old buzz may not be the evil emperor zurg but hes definitely still the bad guy especially if hes willing to commit acts that defied his training as a space ranger
