The reason why Leroy looks like Stitch is because he was created from a copy of Stitch's template. Because Stitch was the last experiment Jumba created from his original space lab before migrating to Earth, Jumba had saved and hidden a copy of it to be re-used for another new experiment in case Stitch failed or was destroyed. The template has all of Stitch's genetic code, but Jumba changed a few alleles in its DNA to make Leroy look a little different from Stitch (i.e. fur color, fluffier ears, etc.). Due to Leroy and Stitch sharing half-identical DNA, this makes them actual biological BROTHERS instead of "cousins" like the previous 626 experiments. Jumba basically created a literal blood relative for Stitch, and the knowledge of this revelation makes Leroy's fate in an intergalactic prison even sadder.
Introductory wise, he is technically the last experiment to be introduced within the numbering scheme. However, experiments after Leroy were introduced, but they were outside of the numbering scheme. Leroy may have become as same as stitch. Had he met lilo? I'm not sure so maybe not, lilo had a hand in stitches softening behavior. I mean first time they met he was quite a wild dog like. Leroy may have been the same. But he'd just do what he wants, instead if wasting time on his creators malevolent intentions
I used to play Disney collect like crazy two years ago and I had to take a break. Might be tempted to add it again because I love my stitch! I wonder if they ever did a experiments line
I honestly would’ve loved to see how unstoppable 628 would’ve been against Stitch and his cousins. We could’ve had one last special where they needed to release Leroy and “Hamsterwheel” to win the day and with Lilo’s superpower of persuasion she would’ve turned them both good in the end.
Leroy is like Shadow the hedgehog they were both created by a mad scientist maybe there's some differences between the two like Shadow has a attachment to a girl named Maria who sacrifices herself to save shadow when g.u.n came to shut them all down Shadow doesn't know if he's the original Shadow because he does find out there's more of him.
@Noah Dean • Nice analysis. But there's more similarities/differences between Leroy and Shadow the Hedgehog. Similarities- Both have red colors on their bodies (though Shadow has black fur). Fought their counterparts (Stitch and Sonic respectively). Are more powerful than their counterparts. Are voiced by the same person who also voiced their counterparts. We're contained in their tubes for a long time. Differences- They have different abilities. Shadow more of a anti-villain/anti-hero, whereas Leroy is pure evil Unlike Leroy, Shadow has a moral compass and cares about others.
@@catrakitten see I don't watch Lilo and stitch that much or Sonic the hedgehog to understand two sides of the each other story but thanks for explaining everything to me.
So. I uh I never knew there was a manga or the story goes past the series (or if the anime is canon) so that was interesting I also loved the video. Leroy has always been my favorite experiment. Like stitch and the others are good (but the food experiment has always had a special place in my heart) but I can't lie when I say I like a pure Chaotic Evil character
I wouldn't recommend the anime or the manga. The anime gave an incredibly stupid reason for Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakely to leave Lilo, ruining their family dynamic for no reason at all. And somehow the Experiments turned evil again and somehow moved to Japan for some reason which was never explained. The manga, Stitch and the Samurai, is an Alternate Reality in which Stitch escapes to Earth, specifically Feudal Japan. Honestly, I found it extremely wierd and a bit creepy of Yamato's over-affectionate behavior towards Stitch. There's also Stitch & Ai, which takes place after Leroy and Stitch. It's not a bad show and takes continuity into account. Problem is Disney took it off Disney+, so I couldn't watch the rest of it.
@@ionryful The anime was explained by the fact in Japan it was originally an AU, "what if Stitch landed in Japan instead of Hawaii". The dub made the connections to the original series and Disney forced later seasons in Japan to tie-in as well (which is why Lilo comes back). Because of this problem with the Japanese series they made the Chinese series with connection in mind from the start. But it still doesn't make sense, anything after Leroy and Stitch should be looked at as AU scenarios.
Speaking of Lilo and Stitch Issac here’s are a few ideas Lilo & Stitch opening song and Hawaiian Rollercoaster ride translated The various crossovers explained. (Recess, Proud Family, American Dragon and Kim Possible)
Hamsterveil also didn't say anything when Jumba and Gantu mentioned 627. Jumba:why not call him 627? Gantu: you already made a 627. Jumba: I did? Hamsterveil: I shall call you Leroy
I looked on the wiki page at all the experiments. I found out that Experiments 0-626 consistantly have names, Experiments 627 and 628 have no other known names and the names come back with Experiment 629.
Wait.. I want to correct something.. When you mentioned that the continuity of 627 and 628 existing BEFORE Leroy wasn't fully acknowledged until 2020, isn't correct. In Leroy and Stitch, 627 is mentioned by Gantu during the naming process but Jumba notes that he doesn't remember 627 (Leroy and Stitch at 30:47) which probably means he doesn't remember 628.. I think the writers glossed over the 628 part and not call Leroy 629 is for those who haven't seen the series nor kept up with some of the comics as not all of the experiments were shown and named while the show aired. Furthermore, while Hamsterviel lists off names, Gantu goes on to say that those names have been used by Lilo to name the other experiments that made appearance in the series and not the movies (unit Leory and Stitch).. These tidbits show that the series is cannon to the movies.. This also means that the Kim Possible, American Dragon, The Proud Family, and Recess all exist in the same universe as Lilo and Stitch.. Do what you will with this knowledge..
Jumba has modified experiments in the past (like making Bugby just turn rocks into bugs). I'm sure he could modify Leroy so that he could turn good. As for his one true place, I can see the clones being distributed into the different branches of the Galactic Alliance to serve in different assistant roles.
I Did See a Fanfiction Story Where Stitch Visits Lilo with Yuna someone commented that if Stitch goes back to Lilo another experiment Should Take stitch's place in Yuna's life, He Said Maybe Leroy, at First, I Said he's Not a Good fit He's Evil, but after Seeing what Isaac Said About Him, maybe he just needs his chance at Redemption on another Stitch Show, Whether it's With Lilo or Yuna or Even Someone New
Honestly it seems to me that Leroy and his clones seem to have lost a lot of cognitive power after the forced shut down maybe have Lilo work with Leroy to see if she can change him to good.
How did the the destruction of the hunts clan mean the magical creatures be more open. . We see not only the magical creatures less hidden in the stitch Anime but so are the aliens
I rather have Leroy as the Best Evil Epic Villainous Clone, Twin Brother and Worthy Adversary of Stitch from *Leroy and Stitch,* and as one of My Most Favorite Epic Evil Disney Villains! He's so Cruel, Evil, Merciless, Malevolent, Heartless, Bruteful and Malicious! He's the Polar Opposite of Stitch! He's WAAAAAAY better than Experiment 627!
I would very much want a proper sequel to the original Lilo and Stitch continuity, where it's years later, Lilo has just come back from college back to the island. All of the "cousins" are happy with their one true place they truly belong etc. And Stitch and Angel are married and have a daughter. And Leroy has escaped space prison, kidnapped Stitch and Angels daughter to bait Stitch into fighting with him 😊.
When Jumba said ”Would take years just to create design” , I thought he just lied about it to Hamsterviel, in order to discourage Hamsterviel from forcing him to create Leroy - Jumba didn’t want to help Hamsterviel take over the galaxy. That’s also why he secretly programmed the Aloha Oe weakness into Leroy, intentionally, to decrease the chance for Hamsterviel to win.
Man, talk about persistence. Trial and Error with the knowledge that Jumba spent YEARS designing individual experiments, no wonder he didn't go insane you gotta already be insane to do that!
I think I know what 628 would look like: purple with retractable limbs (like Stitch) and retractable heads (like 627 except he'd have 3 heads) and the abillity to breath fire and lazer eyes and his weakness would be happyness and joy and his primary funtion would be to cause mischief and mayhem wherever he goes and he wouldn't be able to be turned to good.
I think the original Leroy will become an antihero of sorts, he’ll go on a journey of self discovery while being appointed a member of the Galactic Federation police force. On top of that my theory for 628, that character is going to end up becoming the series big bad akin to Thanos. The character ends up resenting Jumba for locking them up on his ship in pod form for 20 years and becomes jealous of the other experiments including 000, 627 and Leroy(along with all his clones) because they got to exist while hydrated. Experiment 628 then threatens to destroy earth and the galactic federation causing a giant intergalactic war. The character then kills Dr von Hämsterviel for not coming to retrieve them which makes everyone fear them. 628 then takes out half of the Leroy clones during this. As for 628’s abilities, they’d most likely have all of the same abilities as 627 but with the ability to speak fluently and clearly. As for their appearance would be tall and humanoid while still retaining some minor qualities of Stitch, 627 and Leroy. The character would also be menacing, yet recognisable as the main villain of the entire franchise/series including the anime. As for the main characters, Lilo is now an adult helping her sister raise her niece after Nani married David. Rueben has a restaurant with Gantu where they sell sandwiches, Stitch is with the new character Yuna but still visits Lilo and her fam, Jumba and Pleakley are still happily married, The Grand Councilwoman retired and married Cobra Bubbles, deciding to live on earth.
It’s always been my headcanon that 628 was still in development that Jumba put it into storage after seeing the failures of 627. As Jumba grew was a people in that episode I would assume that, if he was to revisit the project, he would do so with the aggressive programming.
I personally love Lilo and Stitch, and enjoy all iterations of them. That being said, what would be your opinion of an Experiment #630: Codename...Apex. 🙂
Well now I’m just curious on what the heck Experiment 628 is. If it’s really as powerful as Stitch and 627 or even greater and what exactly it can do. Guess it’ll just end up being one of Disney’s greatest mysteries alongside the father of Huey, Dewey, and Louie and Max’s mother(Goofy’s son)
Now this is just my thought but it would be cool just to what 628 power could be! You know how 627 has the power of 20 different experiments what if 628 has the power of all the experiments combined into to one gigantic weapon that can destroy any city or even any planet!
I love Leroy he is one favorites I even though a fan story where he turn good and help thought experiments get were sent to jail or in prison like he was and help them find a great home
I just have to say does Stitch even know that Leroy was his brother it's just that I don't remember hearing the movie even mentioning that they were brothers
Jumba seems very much a double edged sword: he'll invent for whatever purpose suits him at the time. Hamsterviel double crossed him so Jumba returned the favour by creating an experiment with a weakness. Become his ally like Lilo and Stitch and he'll create whatever is needed to assist. However, leave him unsupervised then both friend or foe are unsafe from his creations.
Quite like how Leroy is red as red is the polar opposite to blue which is fitting since he is considered an evil Stitch which is funny since Stitch was originally created for evil
I'm still trying to figure out how Jumba was able to get away with creating 625 of these things before being caught

Leroy is like a creepier version of Stitch
I used to play Disney collect like crazy two years ago and I had to take a break. Might be tempted to add it again because I love my stitch! I wonder if they ever did a experiments line
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, DUDE.
I'd like that for Leroy, but Humsterwhiel is irredeemable as a character.
Since Leroy looks like Stitch, why not make a discussion on another creature that looks like Stitch, Toothless from How to train your dragon
Shadow more of a anti-villain/anti-hero, whereas Leroy is pure evil
Unlike Leroy, Shadow has a moral compass and cares about others.
@@catrakitten see I don't watch Lilo and stitch that much or Sonic the hedgehog to understand two sides of the each other story but thanks for explaining everything to me.
@@noahdean9685 Your welcome.
And Amy Is Basicly Angel
So. I uh I never knew there was a manga or the story goes past the series (or if the anime is canon) so that was interesting
I also loved the video.
Speaking of Lilo and Stitch Issac here’s are a few ideas
Lilo & Stitch opening song and Hawaiian Rollercoaster ride translated
The various crossovers explained. (Recess, Proud Family, American Dragon and Kim Possible)

Why is Leroy considered stronger than stitch? They’re at least equals and whenever they fought stitch would get the upper hand more times than Leroy
Thank you for posting the video. I've always wondered about the one violent cousin.
Leroy is awesome and no one can change my mind
Hamsterveil also didn't say anything when Jumba and Gantu mentioned 627.
Jumba:why not call him 627?
Gantu: you already made a 627.
Jumba: I did?
Hamsterveil: I shall call you Leroy
Do you want to give a nickname to LEROY?
Leroy and Stitch is the best Lilo and Stitch movie and one of my favorite movies of all time 💙
Never seen Lilo and Stitch, and never intend to watch it anytime soon, but MAN are these interesting!
I was always under the intention that Leroy's shut-down was an intentional thing Jumba put in there.
I enjoyed watching Leroy and Stitch back in the day on Disney Channel
we need disney to make one last spin oof for lilo and stitch so we can see 628 activated
628: Complete obedient, stoic, intelligent, able to regenerate, can turn to a liquid state and shapeshifting.
So it basically the t-1000 terminator.
Thank you for addressing the 628 thing most people forget 628 is a thing in the series and leroy is technically 629
I looked on the wiki page at all the experiments. I found out that Experiments 0-626 consistantly have names, Experiments 627 and 628 have no other known names and the names come back with Experiment 629.
"Leroy was not prepared for the power of Elvis Presley" is not a sentence I ever thought I'd hear
Can you do The Complete Full Story of Experiment 627?
Experiment 628 will be unnaturally cheerful and will talk forever about obscure topics. He shall be named Isaac.
U should do a video on experiment 221 aka sparky's backstory
Yeah I would be awesome to see you Leroy again in the Leo Stitch universe and I never knew they was a manga about Stitch in Japan
I wonder what experiment 628 would look like
I am actually a huge fan lilo and stitch I even used to own the dvd of Leroy and stitch keep up the excellent work
If I recall correctly, in the Stitch! series, we do see Leroy again in at least one episode & flirts with Angel.
The answers 5 year old me needed
Experiment 629! I love this one! But I'm more of a fan of Experiment 627.
Yess A Leroy video video he’s my favorite!
As a Child I thought Leroy look way cooler than stitch red monsters look way better than blue monsters
Back to the Lab again, OH NO
Leroy is not only experiment that never got chance, experiment 621 also didn't got chance
I feel sorry for Leroy and I think his Perfect Place could’ve been as a Bounty Hunter for Intergalactic Criminals.
Jumba has modified experiments in the past (like making Bugby just turn rocks into bugs). I'm sure he could modify Leroy so that he could turn good.
As for his one true place, I can see the clones being distributed into the different branches of the Galactic Alliance to serve in different assistant roles.
I Did See a Fanfiction Story Where Stitch Visits Lilo with Yuna someone commented that if Stitch goes back to Lilo another experiment Should Take stitch's place in Yuna's life, He Said Maybe Leroy, at First, I Said he's Not a Good fit He's Evil, but after Seeing what Isaac Said About Him, maybe he just needs his chance at Redemption on another Stitch Show, Whether it's With Lilo or Yuna or Even Someone New
Pls give a link of the fic
@@behindthemirror2215 I Forgot what it was
Honestly it seems to me that Leroy and his clones seem to have lost a lot of cognitive power after the forced shut down maybe have Lilo work with Leroy to see if she can change him to good.
How did the the destruction of the hunts clan mean the magical creatures be more open.
. We see not only the magical creatures less hidden in the stitch Anime but so are the aliens
This is Lilo and Stitch celebrating 20th anniversary.
First time a short got me here. Good job my guy
This show where my Pokemon as a child
LILO’s mission lasted 3 years, & we never learned if Rufus really is/was 1 of his creations.
ruclips.net/video/5NB-mcc3fBI/видео.html is finally here
Even if not jumba's I'm sure some genetic manipulation was involved
Rufus isn't one of Jumbas creatons. In the Kim Possible episode "A sitch in time", we see Rufus as a baby.
@@Feurigel1806 maybe he was turned into baby by Babyfire and sent back in time. I'm sure some genetic manipulation was involved in him
I love the Lilo & Stitch movies and series! Especially the other experiments!
THANK YOU DO MUCHHHH😭😭😭😭😭NOBODY BUT ME IN MY FAM KNOWS ABOUT THISSSSSS
Please make a tangled series theory video about catalina and that other girls parents and how its related to wolfwalkers
Honestly, I think this one should've been 627.
I don’t know if we will but if we do I bet there will be a great battle between him and stitch.
Can you do Captain Gantu's Full Story please?
This one I really want to do because he lived a rough life
i want know more about him
He seemed like he suffered great depression after losing his job
When Jumba said
”Would take years just to create design”
, I thought he just lied about it to Hamsterviel, in order to discourage Hamsterviel from forcing him to create Leroy - Jumba didn’t want to help Hamsterviel take over the galaxy.
That’s also why he secretly programmed the Aloha Oe weakness into Leroy, intentionally, to decrease the chance for Hamsterviel to win.
I read a fanfiction that said 628 is leroy and jumba just didn't combine him with his pod on time
I'm surprised at stitches twin brother didn't scream "Leeroy Jenkins!" 😂
I headcanon that the Leroys' one true calling is raiding places randomly. The leader, I also feel, is sometimes called Mr. Jenkins.
LEEEEROY JEEEEENKINS!
Do more back story’s
Man, talk about persistence. Trial and Error with the knowledge that Jumba spent YEARS designing individual experiments, no wonder he didn't go insane you gotta already be insane to do that!
Well, you did get it wrong that Jumba included the "Alola Oe" failsafe by accident, but I like this in-depth look on 629!
I didn’t know about Leroy in a Manga! I gotta check this out!
YAY ANOTHER LILO AND STITCH VIDEO
I personally love Lilo and Stitch, and enjoy all iterations of them. That being said, what would be your opinion of an Experiment #630: Codename...Apex. 🙂
Also can you do a full story of Captain Gantu?
Well now I’m just curious on what the heck Experiment 628 is. If it’s really as powerful as Stitch and 627 or even greater and what exactly it can do. Guess it’ll just end up being one of Disney’s greatest mysteries alongside the father of Huey, Dewey, and Louie and Max’s mother(Goofy’s son)
Now this is just my thought but it would be cool just to what 628 power could be! You know how 627 has the power of 20 different experiments what if 628 has the power of all the experiments combined into to one gigantic weapon that can destroy any city or even any planet!
I miss Max Goof😭
But seriously - these thoughts have been bugging me since childhood!!!
Now my kid is watching these 90s shows and I'm re-annoyed lol
I never saw the ending to this series. i always thought the show ended abruptly and didn't finish showcasing all 626 experiments.
I remember watching Lilo and Stitch when I was a kid, the tv show as well. I remember playing the dvd game with my little sis as well.
I love Lilo and stitch I can’t Waite for the live versioning Disney is making it
6:15 what I don't understand is why Hamsterviel hates the colour blue when blue is such a cool colour
I love Leroy he is one favorites I even though a fan story where he turn good and help thought experiments get were sent to jail or in prison like he was and help them find a great home
If stitch could be used for evil clones why couldn't all the other experiments turned good be cloned
I had no idea that Lilo and Stitch was this expansive and inclusive… it’s genuinely concerning
I just have to say does Stitch even know that Leroy was his brother it's just that I don't remember hearing the movie even mentioning that they were brothers
I hope one day we will get a new stitch movie to see 628 or even a 630. Considering japan likes stitch so much to get their own series!
Do you think you can do a video on the backstory of the bad guys for discovering dreamworks?
Maybe when this series gets a new reboot maybe we will see what 628 looks like.
Need to hear more about experiment 0 that was locked up
so jomba just went bad after being in a family who cared about him, man what a betrayal
I was always confuse with jumba like is he good or evil
Jumba seems very much a double edged sword: he'll invent for whatever purpose suits him at the time.
Hamsterviel double crossed him so Jumba returned the favour by creating an experiment with a weakness.
Become his ally like Lilo and Stitch and he'll create whatever is needed to assist.
However, leave him unsupervised then both friend or foe are unsafe from his creations.
He's Chaotic neutral
@@ThePhantomhorseman I like that.👍
hello. happy mother's day.
Quite like how Leroy is red as red is the polar opposite to blue which is fitting since he is considered an evil Stitch which is funny since Stitch was originally created for evil
Lerrooooooooyyyyy
