I wish there was an install instruction guide that came with the kit. I just started cutting off stock brackets and now i have figure everything out myself from watching videos on RUclips

Ive been sitting with this lift for quite some time getting all my parts new axles, gas tank, ect. Im just about to get the lift on but still need to get some longer control arms for a front and rear stretch. You guys make top quality stuff i cant wait untill its all done. Thanks for making a good video i learned some things i didn't notice in the instructions.
@jhinton088 Great to hear! Thanks for the complement! We design our control arms with lots of adjustability so you can stretch the wheelbase a couple inches with what is already included in the kit. Let us know if you have any questions, you can call and talk to a real person! 952-210-7185
@pete699669 We were too! We had a few more items to finish to make it drivable on the ramp. Check out the payoff video below at about 1:55! ruclips.net/video/GwrDl0ECwpM/видео.htmlsi=ocaAKIYSUkOAvjyZ
@scottChapman25 Just wait until you see the final result! There are a couple more videos of the build coming AND we're taking it wheeling this weekend! Stay tuned!
Does the transfer case linkage come with the kit or is that a separate part? And are you running the brackets with just the bolts or are you welding the brackets to the frame?
@cordybrassfield4844 The transfer case linkage is included with the suspension kit, be sure to select the correct year for your TJ. The long arm suspension brackets are bolted to the frame, no welding is needed. Rest assured; the long arm kit has been thoroughly tested for many years even with heavy 1-ton axles, and huge 40" tires on our Iron Rock LJ nicknamed "Overtime". You can see Overtime wheeling in our recent Moab videos, just look for the big orange LJ. Reminds us how we're lucky if we get all the belly bolts out easily, then proceeds to reinstall them with loctite. At least the loctite will help the threads not corode😂
With the design of the kit, those brackets no longer need to come out. The drivetrain can be pulled by pulling the skid plate and crossmember out. Full send with the new IRO frame brackets no looking back lol.
@454slowride We build a lot of adjustability into all of our kits. We use a very long threaded portion on all of our male ends so that you can extend the wheelbase quite a bit.
@@keithwolfington7013 iron rock does allow orders for custom length control arms! Simply give us a call to talk through your needs. There is an upcharge for custom arms, and the lead time is typically 3-4 weeks to get them built and powdercoated.
@globalexcursion The belly height in this kit is extremely adjustable. Anything from a flat belly up to a 3” drop can be achieved using a combination of spacer plates and spacer brackets. Flat belly configuration requires a body lift or floor pan modification. Travis chose to go with a 1" drop (from flat) so that he wouldn't have to modify the floor very much. The 1" drop still measures 2.5" higher than the stock belly height and is a huge improvement.

Man i was really hoping to see it in the ramp after the long arm.

Sweet Upgrades for the TJ!!
@MacsSpecialitiesProperties A lot of engineering went into this long arm system. It is great to finally showcase it in this build series!
awesome man! looks really good

@IronRockOffRoad yeah, I watched the other one. Now I'm considering finding a JK 44 set to go under my LJ.
@@scottChapman25 JK axles are a really nice upgrade to a TJ.

Will you have rear extended wheelbase arms available?
you can push the rear axle a few inches with the current kit.

@@IronRockOffRoadso let’s say for fun you wanted your wheel base to be 110” would that be do able?

Flat belly means flush with the frame. You have a flat skid plate, not the same thing.
