The lesson I learnt about forgiveness is that it’s not something you do only once and move on from but something you continuously do in order to continue healing.

@@lunron9548 Thats the situation I was in for a very long time, before it was sadness. Now its anger bc ive come to realize that nothing was generally my fault at home. I highly suggest you find some way to move out and find yourself and your space before you lose yourself in that toxic chemistry. Take it from someone who did for a time.

Omg Lisa after 46 years I finally accepted I was still carrying anger to my parents to my sisters to myself because they made me feel I wasn’t like
My sisters because my sisters were such good students because of the guys who didn’t date me and because I didn’t feel
Enough. I let anger go, because today I’m aware and I am enough THANKYOU!

I'm pleading with just let it Go Go!!!! You're enough , whole , worthy , complete, unique and priceless.... You have been enough , you 're enough and you for ever be enough for the rest of your life ...
Take care of yourself and be well ...Alack of self love is the root cause of all suffering in this universe......become the blessing that you're looking for .....peace , love , harmony , prosperity ........

This might sound a bit sound weird but I just had a dream that I was yelling at a particular person in my waking life. After doing some introspection after I woke up, I realized I still held a lot of anger toward this person that's just accumulated for many years. Not even a half an hour later this video shows up in my feed. My goodness! I just felt like I had to say that because I had a visceral reaction when you were talking about by keeping the anger you don't allow yourself to be filled completely with love and your worth. Ahhh!
Thank you so much, Lisa! Love you too ♥

wow, what a perfect topic about anger. When you said "Let Me tell you what Anger isn't" I was blown away because I was angry at my dad for 10 years about something that seems so irrelevant now but when I decided to Forgive him it was about 1 month or so before he died. All that time wasted on hating him and being angry at him when all I should have done was forgive him. That event taught me a lot I will never be that anger or take that long to forgive someone not for them but for me. Lisa Nichols thank you so much I pray that this topic helps everyone out there not to take so long to forgive someone because it may be the last thing you remember from that person and that's not a good memory to hold to.

I’ve never been allowed to express anger. Not even towards the ppl who bashed my head in. I’ve dealt with the health consequences every day since that time. I’m in the process of expressing this anger healthily, so I can release it & forgive🙏🏼 I don’t want to suppress it anymore, bc I do have a right to be angry about these life changing events.

❤❤❤ sorry to hear… some times it’s a storm. I’ve been dealing with insanity back to back for 13 years, some of it people, and some of it just seems to be God, like a chronic illness that completely tore my life apart. I didn’t have any ability to withstand all the people who started lying, cheating, and stealing from me, I was nearly in the grave already. I don’t understand how some people just have so much evil in your hearts, and want to take, take take. Destroy and cause pain just for the fun of it! I know we need to forgive, but it’s so freaking hard sometimes. 😢🎉❤❤

“Your future is paying for your past when you hold on to anger”. That is indeed a word of wisdom. When we get angry, subconsciously, we’re trying to fix the problem and we think it’ll solve it, but it doesnt. At least not always. When it “intrudes”, we decide to keep it and take over, but if we decide for the future what it’s going to be, then we do rob ourselves from true and genuine peace and happiness, not always realizing it. Our past doesn’t have to be our future. Thank you Lisa 🙏❤️ It wasn’t an aha moment but it was more like “it’s now or never” moment. I’ve been holding on to anger and letting it control my world for years, and I’ve been told many times that it isn’t a helpful path. But I’ve realized now, watching this episode, that it’s either now or never. No procrastination. Not tomorrow, not today, right now at this very moment I have to be open. Like you said, “to love, to possibility, to opportunity. 100%”. Because we CAN. Thank you for believing in all of us 🙏🙏❤️

So many inspiring moments, I stumbled across your video searching for ways to stop feeling my anger so deeply. The funny thing about me is that when I’m angry about a situation I always turn it into a situation I have to fix myself. I become someone I’m not proud of being- almost as if I’m forcing myself into someone else problems & it hurts me very badly in the end. Feelings of guilt, sadness, shame come up.. I have to remind myself I am only human, and slowly my consciousness comes back to my body. I dislike feeling this way, and I am here to turn those feelings into ones that I deserve.

Thank you, Lisa. I agree with you wholeheartedly. It took me two years to get past the hurt of the accusations and anger directed at me unfairly by a sibling. But it was two years of hard work... two years of discussing the matter with myself in the mirror.... my feelings, my annoyance with myself for allowing the hurt to preoccupy my mind and time. I got there. I forgave him. And I keep my distance so it can't happen again. Being able to move forward is important. So important, that no one else is allowed to live in my mind rent-free. This was awesome.....I love Lisa Nichols...She is the truth...I have been angry for years. Currently, I am going through 30 years of a relationship breakup. This is one of the hardest things I've ever done. From girlfriend, baby mama, fiance, to wife...then to married, separated, living single for 10 years 2009 - 2019. Out of the 30 years, the longest time we have not been around each other is 2 weeks. BUT Today, I made the decision to let go of a Toxic Relationship. IT COMES A TIME WHEN SOMEONE HAS TO SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND WALK AWAY.
Overcoming anger because I DESERVE TO LIVE WITH A PEACE OF MIND, POSSIBILITY, LOVE & JOY AT 100% = POWERFUL.
I have listened to her all day. I even create a playlist.
The episodes are helping me get through this. Thank you so much, Lisa! Blessings on this journey of life! Lashell 04/30/2019

Lisa, thank you so much for bringing such healing truths into the light I have been listening and watching you since 2014 but not until this last year or so did I understand how much anger I had been holding on to. I wore this anger like a protective shield not to allow any more hurt to enter my life, not realizing that by doing this I was allowing the pain inside of me to fester and grow and not be let go. I am learning to let go of it and allowing it to flow and as I do for the first time in my life I am experiencing such peace of mind I never knew existed. I am now holding my arms wide open and welcome all the love, health, joy, prosperity, peace of mind to flow through me. I am forever grateful to you Lisa Nichols, the real Bionic Woman! release anger by living what you desire, not what happened in the past. This has healed me. It is not easy because those old experiences come to cloud you but I had to let it go when I started to feel physical pain, lose sleep, and am currently in threat of losing my beloved because of my anger and lack of self-love and attention. It is critical to not let the anger demon drive you.

I feel so relaxed and happier while watching your videos. I am often angry with my father who is a narcissist. He treats me like a little child, though, I'm almost 30. He tends to shout, swear and attack me. For the last year, I started feeling bad and guilty as if I'm the problem, not him (ok, sometimes it's my fault). Sometimes I feel sad that we don't have a connection, but I feel hatred towards him, because of the way he treats me. Not always, but most of the time. I don't want to be angry all the time, and I feel more and more frustration, because I keep silent so that he doesn't attack me. I feel better now after hearing your advices. Thank you

I agree that forgiveness is key, I also feel anger is not something to be ashamed or afraid of. It can signal a boundary violation and be protective, especially when we didn’t know how to protect ourselves. It’s all learning and anger is part of the process. Fully feeling and integrating our emotions enables the energy to transform and strengthen us.

Thank you Lisa. #BOL moments have come time and time again by listening to your words. You are like a spirit mother and have influenced my life tremendously!
My now husband, went to prison when I was pregnant. He left me to be a single mother for 5 years, it took a lot of strength and pain to overcome the hurt that was infflicted in my life, but moreso on our daughter's life by his choices. There was so much resentment and anger there but I did the WORK! Not only did I have to forgive, but I had to fight for the happy ending that my child and I deserved. Things changed for me when I heard one of your talks about a year and a half ago that inspired me to "TAKE FEAR IN ONE HAND AND FAITH IN THE OTHER AND LEAP!" I knew that continuing my life in Las Vegas in that state of mind would have both of us back in the street and up to no good and take away the small chance we had to be a family. So, I did the unthinkable... With your words playing over and over in my mind, I manifested enough money to quit my job, buy a car, shove what I could fit into it, grab my daughter and on nothing but faith and intention, I uprooted my entire life to move to Idaho. The day before he was released!
Flash forward 9 months, I'm happier than I've ever been. It was the best choice I've ever made. He has become a totally different person, my daughter is complete, I am happily married with baby number 2 on the way and he is making up for lost time, I no longer have to work and everyday I feel as though life couldn't be better. Not because of him but because I've changed from within. I've become unapologetically me in my most authentic form. Yes! Yes! Thank you. That's the long story short version. Much love!

Miss Lisa, I saw you at Agape a few weeks ago. Mind blowing, hard opening! I freaking love you so much. So grateful for the work that you are doing. And when you share your story and what you have had to go through, and the forgiveness that you have chosen to engage for yourself, and the others involved, it energizers me to make that choice in my life with many people who need it, the ones who do, and who don’t deserve it! Lol.❤😂🎉🎉🎉❤❤

Most anger management professionals have no idea what anger is, having never been angry. Lisa's video was a worthless babble of junk and it will help no one.

I appreciate and will practice having more authority over myself. I love the analogy of our bodies being primary real estate. And how we can't give permission to anger to be/stay 'close'. I'll also add, "I deserve to live with: Peace of mind, Possibility, Love and Joy!" to my affirmations. Thank you, Lisa! Peace and Blessings.

This message touched me profoundly! Thank you! Now, I have a dilemma, and I hope someone can help me with it. While I understand my holding onto anger robs me of 100% love, I am afraid to let go of it. Having been pulled down by depression (which some say is anger turned inwards), I find my lack of energy many times terrifying! I actually get to the point where I cannot make it out the door to go to work, and I recently began imagining myself and my two precious cats becoming homeless due to my lack of continuous income. Fortunately, that hasn't happened, but I still struggle a lot to make the money I need to survive because of my depression. Well, I find that anger stirring up inside, especially a sense of my being wronged and needing to fight for myself, actually gives me the energy I need to walk out that door and drive to work. So, I view my anger as necessary for my and my dependents' survival, even though I imagine it is quite toxic to me as well. Can anyone please offer me some helpful advice on how I might choose a healthier path without jeopardizing my survival?

I had the most amazing Bol moment. I literally cried for 2 hours not understanding how damaging anger has been to my life and how much my personal real estate that has been taken up buy trapping myself in anger and unforgiveness. I felt like you were personally speaking to me. And now I know that forgiveness it's not about the other person but it's about me. Thank you!
