So...I am a project manager, I manage teams and deploy major initiatives for corporations. I travel across the world and meet all kinds of human beings. This technique is priceless! I plan to implement this process into my training events and with my teams. This woman is truly gifted and it obviously comes from the heart. Wish I had stumbled upon this video last year! Thank you for this excellent presentation. I've been working on the pitch for my children's book, and after seeing this, I realize it was all about process. It's a book, blah, blah, blah, kids will love it, yadda yadda, leading to glazed eyes. I was afraid to talk about my underlying motivation, and for good reason. My motivation is about me. I needed to turn it around about the person buying the book and reading the book. Thanks for giving me a new approach.

Question: What if you're just starting out and have no results or very little results? Are the results simply what you want your audience to get out of it once you get clients/customers?
I believe that's what most struggle with when first starting out with little experience or little education and high expectations. For me, that often doesn't match reality because I allow the fear, anxiety, and nervousness to take a hold of me when thinking more of how its beneficial for me than them. But, i think this is common when its rare for others to think about others in the beginning at least and takes a bit of practice. Or its possible where others can think about others their whole life and think its necessary to invest in themselves instead to create a healthy balance.
I say yes... even if you are just starting out, you know what result you are trying to obtain and what impact you want to have on the world... so you would still deliver the desired result and benefit... ending with "Who do you know?"
