I lost me along time ago and I've been looking for me again. I've slowly been finding pieces of myself but out of committing myself to other I lose me again then ended up looking for myself again. I have been learning to nicely say no and not make myself available for everything and everybody. Saying yes to myself is not being selfish, it's being committed to be a better person so I can be better for other people. Dead roots can't nourish a tree,

Falling in love with yourself and protecting ones self
I didn’t even realize that I have lost myself in my relationship over the last year. Looking past all the warming signs. Always putting him above myself and my commitments. I finally made the decision to walk away and I am working on getting back to me. I needed this message today and will be practicing this for the next 30 days!

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa! What a blessing you are! I believe certain things and certain people are brought into my path for a reason. I lost me a long time ago being married to a man that didn't like my light or the fact that others saw it. I was broken and beat down by financial issues, infidelity to the extreme, and narcissistic behaviors. I had sacrificed myself for his comfort for so long. I have always known there was/is more in me, and I silenced it. I went from a marriage to a separation to burying him. In all of that, I have been trying to find my way back to me. I have felt STUCK!! I did not know how to get back to me. I wasn't even sure where to get started. I came across the RUclips video. . . Lisa Nichols on Rescuing Yourself, Overcoming Fear, and Finding Success by Serving Others. From there, I have been listening to video after video after video. I know what God says about me, but until I can see that in myself, it's not going to matter. It is now time to act. Those 3 sentences. . . here I come.
I forgot who I am and lowered my bar now everyone wants me to build their dreams and when I voice my dreams they talk over me or don't listen

Wow, this story is deep, so personal and yes I have been there once soon a time in my life, but I realized it and seeked help' I was to do axactly this to forgive myself, but not to make commitments to myself, I was invited to a place that taught me how to receive innerhealing, I was delivered but not healed, and when I went through the process of inner healing I began how to accept me once again and stop overlooking me who I am, I forgave me it was like soul searching, it brought me so much satisfaction, and self awareness. Thanks for sharing Lisa.

Lisa I’m so inspired by your messages, I was always trying to please everyone , I am a Christian and also taking biblical studies and a Christian minister, I now learned to be me believe in me and follow my gut feeling and people will automatically realize she’s not joking anymore, she’s for real , the boldness and authority Jesus gave us is great tool to use. Hi sister, I've been watching and feeding my soul with your videos for a week now. They appeared to me in the most difficult moments, where only fear and loneliness took away my peace. You have truly been my sister during the late nights when I can't sleep and have to take my medicines antidepressants. I'm grateful to have found you and your videos. Today I left my house to go for a walk after 2 weeks of not being able to put my foot outside the front door. A big and strong hug from London/UK. Thank you, today I decided to start a new journey of acceptance and recovery of my self-esteem and confidence.

This is not just nerve-rackingly thrilling to do, it's very personal to me. I lost myself in rejection from an abuse marriage relationship that I literally growth through in my young adult life. Now, 2years away I still struggle with why my decision delayed. Am on a path of re-learning to rediscover that passionate, strong-willed, full of life me. Recently I made a life changing decision with my kids. Before I made the decision I never thought about what was my purpose in life. I was 30years old. Instead of thinking of how much time wasted. I focused on the time I do still have. I will help change lives including my own. Thank you for the inspiration.The first thing I had to do was forgive myself whole heartily.
My lesson from this video is, I must love myself before I love anyone else. That I must prioritize the things in my life that will put me a step forward than the day before. That I must be diligent and consistent. Lisa thank you so much for this amazing video, you're literally changing other people's lives for the better. I felt lonely today and this video gave me that "nugget" that will push me to find myself again.
I was the little girl who grew into the teenager who became the woman held spellbound by the power of other people's words until I experienced a dark night of the soul. I was shown how to find the power of my words to set myself free. Now I use that power to speak to those who are held captive like I was.
Sometimes i simply watch the ends of the Episodes and enjoy hearing the- 'I love you' - part! :D not this one. When I first heard this Story I cried so much and my life changed. The next Day I started to Talk to myself in the mirror sobbing and crying. I have changed so much since then, huge steps towards selflove! ♡

Lisa , And fellow readers , it wasn’t until recently that I truly felt the meaning of “ I want to find myself Again” “ I feel lost in a bubble of uncertainty “ who am I “?! And the anxiety that arose from these questions and the goosebumps I got today thinking to myself wow what am I meant to do in life ? I want to find myself , what do I want!? I prayed to god before typing in “ Lisa Nichols feeling lost “ and this video popped up. All I can say is I pray and hope and keep hoping that all this is a sign for me to find myself again. It’s the worst feeling knowing your anxiety and depression is linked to years of losing yourself and not even realising till later on in life. I pray and hope this exercise will help me the way it helped you. I have started this journey of healing and all I can say is I hope I look back to this message and be proud and grateful that I am a healed and NEW person again! ❤️😭 and I wish the same for everyone else going through a rough patch in their lives.
I just turned 60 years old and found myself lost again. In the past 10 months, I became the caregiver to my Mom as well as my husband. My husband has recovered, but my Mom passed away March 17, 2019. Our children are now over 18. Like you, I lost myself in all the titles of wife, Mom, caregiver, Chiropractor, Elder of my church, President of Royal Neighbors Chapter, and whatever other titles I have. I am finding that it's my time now! I need to do your exercises of "I am proud that...........", "I forgive you for.....", and "I commit to you........" because I tend to downplay my accomplishments because I don't want to become haughty. Lisa, thank you for pouring yourself into others. I appreciate you so much!

The most amazing moment happened when I was listening to this today and tears filled my eyes, it is when I said Tania I forgive you for giving up on yourself with everyone who gave up on you, I did not realize this before, every time someone said I was not good enough I believed them at times I believed them before they said to beat them to it, I cried myself to sleep when I finally said to myself I commit to giving you 999 chances and when they run out I will press reset, I commit that no one will love you more than me and God. How have been my number 1 enemy for so long Lisa and sabotaging myself had become 2nd nature for a very long time. Thank you so much for this you have no idea how much this has changed my life.

Absolutely resonates with me. I got so lost I don't even know who I am, what I like or even what's a priority for me.
I came to conclusion that all my life I was a people pleaser. I'm a strong empath that's why I was shrinking myself in order to not to make other people feel bad about themselves and myself (that's ego-based fear of being seen as not humble, as full of myself and bragging about my qualifications and skills by showing them to the world instead of hiding them - I was hiding my talents so others, who don't have them, wouldn't feel bad about themselves - that is nuts !!!).
So now I'm learning how to be ME without worrying about others emotions about it...
I'm rebuilding myself from dust to empire 💖
Please give me good vibrations so I can stay strong in this lonely path to fullfil my destiny here.

I wrote the Universe a letter and asked what the next step is in me creating clarity around my dream career, and I clearly heard: "Focus on healing. You are enough, and you are worthy and have everything you need-but you don't know it yet. Stay open, and listen." I was scrolling through my emails and felt a strong nudge to watch this video, and I am CLEAR that this exercise is one of the next steps in my healing. 27 years ago I left my sons abusive father. A few years later I got married, had my second son who died at 8 months old. I lost me, and my first son lost his mother. For always. She never came back. I became “The person who lost her son” to those around me. I too was clinically depressed. I could see me when you described the disbelief when I was prescribed meds. They were short lived. I miss “me”. Thank you for today's teachings. I have a lot of things to forgive myself for.

I just got out of a 10 year relationship, that was filled with mental and physical abuse. I just found out that the entire relationship, he was also cheating on me from day one! So I'm here today committed to finding myself again, because before this relationship I was unstoppable and bubbly! Now, I barely recognize myself in the mirror.
