My mom got her dual degree in sociology and psychology when she was 65 years old. She worked until she caught covid last year at the age of 74. She was in a coma and on life support for two months. She refused to give up even then. She emerged out of coma, went to rehab and is ready to get back to work. My mom doesn't play. She does not care nor think about her age at all!!!!
Amazing. Congratulations. You're a true warrior. Now, get your body fat adapted and make sure you eliminate carbohydrates from your body to keep it away for good (do some research if you have any doubts. Also, look up Dr Thomas Seyfried and Dr Jason Fung). I wish you optimal health and happiness for the rest of your long journey
You prolly dont care at all but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.
I worked 11 years for Rushion. 8 years after going into business for myself I still hear his voice in my mind and apply these principles in my life and business.
I made a commitment to make age 50 to 75 the best years of my life. It is possible to reinvent and change your outlook. I began a motto of “try new things”... and have stopped letting ego and personality dominate over soul. #50to75
Hi Thanks for sharing this info. I started my path to reinventing myself a year ago, I’m now living healthier, confident, stronger, making 6 figures, having leisure to enjoy family &friends. I feel happier and living my life for myself . This is to encourage someone “you can start anytime to have a reset it’s worth it! I’m striving to continue growing cus it’s a journey 💗
Change your mindset, read self-help books, expand knowledge, budget and don't spend on impulse, save, take your finances seriously, eat healthy, exercise your body, meditate; the list goes on. I hope it is useful to you.
I learnt to be frugal, minimal on spending, saving and paying myself first through Investing, made Plans, growing passive income, Read a lot of books on finance, followed my plan consistently.
I just turned 64 y.o. and determined to totally transform my life into a success magnet. I WILL leave a fantastic legacy for my family to carry on. I'm writing that business plan now...I so appreciate hearing this gentleman!!!

"I wasn't satisfied in that previous lane, so why is that an option now?" - I love the idea of going all in on a decision and not attempting to straddle the line between who you were and who you want to be.
I’m 34 yrs old and I am currently reinventing my life. 6 years ago I was paralyzed and greatly injured from a domestic violence car accident (he tried to kill me) fast forward to now I’m walking again after intense PT. I have also been sober from any drugs and alcohol for 2 years. I finally feel free and more confident in myself. I’m in school to earn my phd in psychology and also starting my own business (in the planning phase)😊 This video spoke to me and encouraged me even more to keep going and to keep striving towards greatness!!❤❤❤
Thank you for this video! My story is very much like Rushion's and there's not a lot of social validation if you're in your 40's. I've watch hundreds of entrepreneurial videos looking for inspiration and they all focus on young adults leaving us out. It can feel disheartening at times like you're out here all on your on with nothing but your willpower and belief in yourself. That can be exhausting as well. I HAVE to believe I can reinvent myself at 45; frankly because I'm doing it. Also like Rushion mentioned: at this age you have life experience that a 20 yr old could never have. That is an asset to be utilized and treasured

Just believe and keep on working. Persistence is usually the number 1 determinant of success or failure. Never give up. The person that says it can't be done is usually interrupted by the person doing it!
Those in generations before social media always had to believe in themselves. These 20 somethings and younger have something many before didn’t have with access to all of these amazing videos and access via the web to any and everyone they want to know. Just consider you’re from a much stronger brood. Trust that. 😉👊💯
I so agree with letting go of the Plan B. I left teaching to be a corporate trainer. It wasn't until I stopped telling myself that I can always go back to teaching that I finally enjoyed being a trainer. Ditch the safety net. Commit to the process; tell yourself you have to succeed and succeed.
yaaassss! when we have a plan be its gives us a type of security and i know for me it makes me hustle just a little less harder. but when i know for sure i have no other options im like "its grind time cuz this is all i have!" lol
Have I been living under a rock? I had never heard of Rushion McDonald before now. What a highly impactful man. This is the first in a long while that anyone actually broke down new concepts, offered practical steps to shift personal perspectives/mindsets, and remove mental roadblocks in order to be successful. I've subscribed to his RUclips channel already. I want to hear him every single day.
I'm 58. I've had 'jobs' and I've been self employed. I've just started a new job in a whole new field- my goal is to be their number one person and then move on to my real goal. I'm excited! It's all a great adventure :)
I reinvented myself this month. I only wear certain colors now and cloths and even certain clothing lines. I only wear my hair a certain way. I only eat and drink the healthiest foods I love, and do all the things that are connected to my new self. I have thrown away almost 80% of my whole life and now I am having steady writing success and attracting much. People often tell me now that they think I am a manager or in some very high position and I tell them I am. I am even doing 4 things that many people never thought I would. People stare at me alot now and lots of people want to talk to me and many men keep coming at me with interest. Now I am a very powerful manifester. I have manifested a long list of things even big things just over this month.
I moved to China against what people said. After a year, I returned (it was a year teaching contract). Being back home, I was miserable and didn’t want to go back to the sales job or teaching. I returned to China and because of the pandemic, my school closed. I ended up homeless and jobless, BUT I’ve continued to move forward. I’m committed to learning mandarin. I want to learn new languages and teach English moving from country to country. I just turned 50! 50! My life is going in the direction I have chosen. I love ❤️ and appreciate these videos! I take notes 📝 and apply this knowledge. Thank YOU!!
I’m crying..... (joy) I saw this video earlier this year. But I wasn’t ready to hear this in my heart and my mind. But since then, I just took the leap, well into my 50’s. Very excited, but a little nervous. But yet I press on, to live the life true to who and what I have been purposed to live. It’s fear for me because I’ve been abused physically and emotionally as a child, by mom, sexually molested by her brother, pushed out of a second story window by my sister at the age of 4... Married to an abuser for 7 years, (1st marriage) married over 20years... (2nd marriage) and just abandoned his family. Yet, by Gods Grace... I RISE, with a purpose, having grown from life’s experiences. Thank you Tom for hosting so many great ppl. I will accomplish every goal that’s meant for me! 💛 My heart was ready to hear this time and I’m so very thankful!
@Ms. Fruity 44 - I don't know the emoji for hugs, so...HUGS HUGS HUGS!!! I've been bullied off and on most of my life, called crazy so often I even believe it myself at times (been in therapy/on psych meds since 1990) but seeing this video and reading the comments (especially yours) help me realize that I'm NOT alone. Congratulations to you on being alive and not destroyed, and on accomplishing your goals!
Stephanie Malone Stephanie thank you so much! I allowed time to do the work of healing and I am so very thankful! Keep your head up and remember you are strong, you are not what’s been done to you, or said of you to bring you down! You are loved, amazing and created with purpose and promise! Do t let what was done to define what you. Huge hugs! God’s continued blessings!💛🌺
I feel like. Those of us who are in this process should connect with one another to encourage motivate and be one anothers accountability partners. If interested let me know
@@londonjae_humanhairresourc2309 wow I liked your comment at the same time as he is talking about loving TV ans information These little synchronicities I tell ya' !
I LOVE THIS TALK! I've received so many revelations after listening to all the jewels that he has dropped. I turn 31 in a couple weeks 10/27. I am in the process of reinventing myself - shifting careers from a news producer to actively pursing my passion as a dancer/actress full-time. Thank you!
I'm 44 and in the midst of a major life pivot. Today, for whatever reason, was the day a lot of doubts and fears started creeping in ... A long walk in the park and watching this video was much needed. Thanks for the great interview and turning my nerves back to excitement!
I watched this video 7 months ago. I quit my job in the medical industry and entered the cannabis industry. My life has changed so much. Thanks for doing this interview. I've even started a youtube channel that has been growing. He's speaking truth in this interview.
I liked what he says about having a 40hs week job and using it as a platform to learn and change. Then the importance of an exit plan using what you have learnt at the next phase of your life

This episode is so timely! I recently made the decision to close my practice of 10 years and make a career change. Some patients and friends are happy for me, others think I'm crazy to leave such an income (my son). At 54, I realize that life is short and I am bored with alternative medicine. I have accomplished everything I can image accomplishing and now it's time for a new challenge. I have overcome many obstacles, endured much hardship and had years of being broke while raising my son. I have goals and dreams to fulfill and working as I do doesn't give me the time freedom I desire. Thank you for this show and the re-inforcement that I'm doing what is right for ME! The next chapter for Sue is looking amazing, I can't wait for 8/31/18 to arrive so it can begin!
The timing and synchronicity of this video is unbelievable for me. I am speechless! I cannot get past the thought of how I am too old for ‘this’ or ‘that’. Completely stagnated and paralyzed with this thought. And now I hear this person say so many amazing things about exactly that.
Synchronization not so much as your phone hearing your conversations and keeping tabs on your searches on google and what type of posts you tend to like on social media.
It's all about your mindset are you striving to become a phenomenal person, are you always believing in yourself, are you always looking for reasons to get back up after being knocked down everytime?
You not only have to "make adjustments" to achieve your goals you must ALSO step out of your comfort zone. Trying to play it safe or seeking security are the two primary reasons why people choose to live in employment captivity. There is a mindset required to be an entrepreneur, there is a mindset that causes people to remain enslaved, and there is a mindset that allows people to remain in employee captivity.
I have many people to thank here.... At first Tom for hosting the show and RUSHION and also THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMENTS WHO SHARE THEIR WONDERFUL THINGS
He didn’t say it, but he reflects it. The inner city teaches you and blesses you with a mental toughness that propels you to go, do, and never give up on your goals.
These interviews just get better and better. This one really plumbs the depths. Rushion McDonald has a great story, and Tom really gets to the root of it in this interview. Fantastic. Thanks.
Thank you so much for the advice and encouragement. I am in the process of reinventing myself at 46 after having open-heart surgery. I am focused and my mindset is to overcome all fear and build on my confidence. Thank you again so much guys.
I really enjoyed this interview. I am over 40 and I have been really feeling down thinking about where I am vs where I want to be. Good news . . . it's not over yet. Anyway, great video.
Oye join the club. i turned 50 this past summer, left a job of 29 yrs started a new job that only worked out for about 6 weeks. lost all my security etc. i found a per diem job but trying to think of my next move.
Tom, you're a great interviewer. You listen keenly and ask great questions as a result. You don't sound like you have a list of questions in front of you. #Realtalk.
This was amazing. I’m half his age and I gained so much incite from him. They put so many expectations and limits on age. At 30, it’s not too late for me. I will watch these videos every morning for motivation, plan and execute by any means. Thanks 🖤🙏🏾💯
Hi, just wanted to share with love…30yrs is the same as 3yrs to a 90 yr old. I’m chronologically 62 but in all other ways including physical im 45 yrs young. It’s all relative, lol. If you do meditate…it will change your life for the better, your mind will start processing in a way that will bring you what you feel is missing now. Anyhoot, thank you very much for accepting my information. I wish you the best in all your endeavors! Peace be with you.
"So what's the impact that you wanna have on the world?" "I'm having it now." What a great response. First time I've heard somebody giving that answer to this question of yours, too.
I became a writer at age 61 in Bogotá, Colombia. It has been my way to overcome my reality as immigrant. It has been my way to protest elegantly and reach the World 🌍
I remember this guy. The reason many of you never heard of him because he is the guy who works behind the scenes. I want to do something similar. Very inspiring.
I was diagnosed w/ a rare blood disorder that had me down all year in recovery after 3week hospital stay. I moved back to my home state to be closer to family and I’m mid 30s. Its like a fresh start. Changed my perspective on life and reinventing myself is my goal. I liked how he spoke on when you don’t know what your doing yet make small goals. I have a goal to take a tv production class that I wanted to take 5yrs ago. Starts in June ❤ so many good 💎 here
Wow Tom, you continue to blow my mind away with these great guest and so much Info. Please continue, you have done so much for me and for my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Tom!
This was real talk! I loved this one! Another great interview! Chase your dreams be yourself, use your experience as an employee to be an entrepreneur. PLAN, PLAN, PLAN! Thank you, Tom!
exactly girl, even though we sometimes hate our jobs we have to sit tight and find a way to push through especially if its giving you any kind of experience that you can take with you once you leave. I like to think of it like this - "my job is my investor for my business". i work for them in exchange of them giving me money to fund my dream. just that small change in thought helps me make it through the day!
I just turned 27 and I am committed to living a life of purpose and impact. I was so used to being a “box checker” and doing what everybody expected of me since I was little. But this next decade of my life will be positively different. I will be moving forward from the inside and discover new and amazing things along the way. This is exciting!
This man exudes confidence. Don't forget the importance of that word. Believe in yourself. Great interview and nice to see someone that doesn't interrupt someone. Bravo.👍
Fantastic interview! His statement about keeping your goals short is key. Small successes allow you to see faster results and help to keep you motivated. Thanks so much Rushion!
Thanks so much Rushion, for your many inspiring lessons as I continue the journey to reinvent myself as an artist at 60 after a lifetime in the Corporate world. Thanks to you also Tom for so many incredible interviews ... they truly help to bring me back on point when the gremlins get louder. LOVE your work!
Tom, when you live in the inner city you see and experience a LOT of pain, hardship, hurt, disadvantages and disparities. Many in the inner city do not see the opportunities that may be possible through extremely HARD work, Courage and Faith because of so much negativity and disparities. But, when you are shown, see, or search for opportunities you may see that there is a possibility to move with your dream and work and fight for them. So, Living in the inner city is a daily FIGHT to survive in many cases, but when your mindset realizes that you want something and you believe in the possibility that you can have it FAITH moves in and then you must take that FIGHT that you have learned from living in the inner city and use it to fight for your deepest desires. As Rushion says Fear of stepping out of your box and challenging yourself is huge and very real. I'm in the process working on something and would love to tell you more about it FEAR but stepping out of the box here.
Thank u for sharing. Great interview, great message. I just turned 39 yrs old n felt it was too late to start a new venture in my career bc of all the changes n obstacles as well as being a single mom with not any support or a tribe, really. But I'm unhappy and I know I have so much potential n greatness within me to share to the world. And ultimately I need to prove to myself n my naysayers. I especially want to be able to help my family. I'm tired of living n fear of failure. I'm ready to breakthrough to the other side. I'm more than capable n deserving. I needed to hear this!
"If I wanted to be successful as a stand-up, I had to hit the road." Loved that line. So many people want success but are not willing to do what it takes.
Tom is one of the most respectful interviewers. I see so many of these influencers who have guests on their show but it's really just an excuse for the host to talk about everything they want to talk about. Tom does his research, leaves the interviewee with targetted questions related to the converstaion but also questions his viewers want to know, and honors the guests life and achievements by making sure he takes into account everything they have done . You're awesome Tom
Tom, I discovered your videos just yesterday, 10.4.20, and I can't stop listening and taking notes. Thank YOU!! I'm making a list and setting weekly/monthly goal checks for them. I'm excited and executing! I just turned 50 and I'm seeing this as an opportunity to grow into a new chapter in my life.
Great interview! Love what he says about how to find your voice. "If you keep it simple, you can find your voice. Also know that you operate off short-term goals. When you don't know where you're going in life, do not look 4 years down the line, do not look two years or a year. You look next week, next month. You keep your goals short and then when you accomplish those goals then you can start piling up little trophies or little moments to know you actually accomplishing something. You actually climbing the steps to success. Where people make the mistake in their goals, they put, not so insurmountable an goal, but a goal that doesn't allow them to qualify success quickly enough. So I always tell people shorten your goals, shorten your window, and that's how you find your voice."
Success is the recognition that you didn't do it alone. It's somebody who trusted you, somebody who believed in you, somebody who got your back, somebody who risked their reputation to endorse you. Success is generally a team sport.
I like and could relate to Rushion when he say it's the people who tells you who you are and how great you are because they see you and also his sucess is tied to those who admire and give him praise! I believe all of this it's about pushing yourself!
Coming from the inner city made him a fighter and so tough that he could find strength to walk over those that says he can't. Many forget that being impoverished and broke taught them what real friends are, how to survive the tough times and not sweat the small tough. Thank God he realized that this world is bigger and he could be apart of it; which is a great lesson for others Kings and Queens still in the inner cities. Blessings
What an AMAZING human being!!! The last part of his interview is the primary reason he is, and will continue to be a success!!! Mr. McDonald is a principled man with a generous, beautiful heart of gold. Although he desired success, he never sold his to the money. He's humble and brilliant at the same time and his blessings are well deserved! Finally, kudos to the host! What a thoughtful and excellent interview! I just subscribed and am sending this interview to my oldest son. He is working, while also building his own national and international business. I know this will be encouragement and mentorship for him as Mr. McDonald is exemplary in the way in which he dissiminates the wealth of knowledge he has and continues to obtain. Thank you to you both, God greatly bless you with many, many more successes!!! There is no higher calling than to love and help others....💜🙏🏼💜
Started reinventing my life in 2021/2022. Its the best decision i ever made in my life. Im 29, going on 30 and I look at life so much different. I thank God everyday for giving me the strength to make mental, emotional, spiritual and financial changes.
One thing I've learned is reinventing one's self is a process not a goal. Recently reinvented myself on the career front and loving it. But I'm definitely not done. My next goal is to start reinvent myself as a person. Timing 50 did create a sense of urgency that didn't exist in my 30s #ContinouosImprovement #NeverTooLate
I just watched this, unfortunately a year after it was presented. I've never heard of Rashion McDonald but what an inspiration!!! I'm 61 betwix & between & wondering what to do with my life. His principles on life are really on point.
This show never fails to amaze me and teach me a valuable piece of wisdom. Rushion message resonates very much with me: Security is a trap and Greatness is always out of your comfort zone.
He’s Very Inspirational And I Love he want to see other people win and willing to Share his Knowledge with others is a Blessing!God Bless You Mr. Rushion
Very inspiring interview with Mr. McDonald! I decided myself (a few months ago) to resign from my position at a larger Life-Science company, move away from the town I live in and start my own business, simply because: -The job is not stimulating anymore (only routine tasks) -The colleagues are mostly dull and filled with negativity. -It is located in a smaller town where people are not very sociable or positive overall (hard to build a new social circle). -There is no chance of me advancing and climbing up that corrupt corporate ladder. -On top if all this, it is poorly paid as well (a colleague of mine thought I made at least €300 more each month that what I currently do). -My drive, ambition and mindset of success, abundance and learning for life doesn't fit into that corporate structure at all (I have felt like a misfit from the start). Because, the corporate structure only rewards conformist and submissive people without a will or mind of their own. Those people tend to only become and stay average for the rest of their lives, just because their colleagues, friends, family and social conditioning in general. Hence, is there any reason in the world I should stay apart from the job security sentiment?? Heck no, and that's why I am resigning in a few weeks and in early May, I am finally leaving that workplace for good!!
"Set that plan in play" When you set your plan to do complete a project in 6 months and by the 5th month you get natural pressure from your past commitment and all this energy should be used towards your goal I think most people dont put their plan in play so they never feel the commitment, or deadline pressure
hoyeshi BG it sucks as far as what I spend on gas but like my job alot plus I make the commute productive by listening to motivational podcast and or learning something
Best decision I ever made was getting into sales. I sell cars and it's the best decision I ever made. It's made me so mentally strong and I can take my selling and negotiating skills into any industry.

I love how he tells us not to be average. I have been teaching for years_"Strive for perfection". I would get a lot of static back at me, Perfection? That's too hard? That is stressful, or whatever excuse. But really people, why would we ever strive for mediocrity? That just does not compute. A big DNC on that! Haha...let's all be our best selves and lift our communities and our world! Thanks my friend for sharing awesome content!
I have had three near death experiences which is why I live my life to the fullest! I chase my dreams unapologetically! I quitting my 9to5 next week to chase my dreams of working for myself full time! Im reinventing myself again at 54 years old!

I’m in school to earn my phd in psychology and also starting my own business (in the planning phase)😊
This video spoke to me and encouraged me even more to keep going and to keep striving towards greatness!!❤❤❤
Rushion McDonald? Never heard of him till now... but I'm going to follow him down the rabbit hole because he is THE TRUTH!
Me too and I'm from Houston Tx
" at this age you have life experience that a 20 yr old could never have" Amen

Just believe and keep on working. Persistence is usually the number 1 determinant of success or failure. Never give up. The person that says it can't be done is usually interrupted by the person doing it!
Those in generations before social media always had to believe in themselves. These 20 somethings and younger have something many before didn’t have with access to all of these amazing videos and access via the web to any and everyone they want to know. Just consider you’re from a much stronger brood. Trust that. 😉👊💯
I forgive the people that think 40s and up is washed up. Now watch as we prepare to clean your clock at whatever you said we can’t do.

You're right on the money.I think they call that process, burning the boats. It gets your brain completely focused on acquiring the objective

Me too! Never heard of him but so impressed 👌

When I close my eyes, I hear Steve. Thank you for everything. At 68, I'm just getting started. People, enjoy every day of your life!!!
Thank YOU!!
Your story is very inspiring!
I detailed mr McDonald's car years ago. It was already super clean 2 begin with. He paid me and tipped well. Salute
What kind of car was it?

At 54, I just KNEW I was too old to want to design games, or return to college. THANK YOU for showing me what I needed to know!!! THANK YOU!!!…. 😎🖤
My heart was ready to hear this time and I’m so very thankful!

Wow i loved it! I am 29 and trying to reinvent myself after 5 years of depression. Great inspiration!
Fear, fear, fear is actually what's currently eating into my soul at age 53. This was the best advice.

❤️📝... agreed! Keep going forward.. And you'll land right where you're supposed to be.
I too have been in constant struggle with that as well at 35.
Never give up.. Go go

"Do what people tell you can't do "............It's time to do it !
GREAT interview Tom
Yes
Exactly! If you can survive the inner city, you can survive anywhere!
Yes!!!
I would say the inner city forces you to survive by any means. You do what you have to do without even thinking about it.
These interviews just get better and better. This one really plumbs the depths. Rushion McDonald has a great story, and Tom really gets to the root of it in this interview. Fantastic. Thanks.

exactly girl, even though we sometimes hate our jobs we have to sit tight and find a way to push through especially if its giving you any kind of experience that you can take with you once you leave. I like to think of it like this - "my job is my investor for my business". i work for them in exchange of them giving me money to fund my dream. just that small change in thought helps me make it through the day!
I love that! thank you for, Sis! I'm definitely going to use that thought process!

I’ll be 60 this year and will finish writing my book and be in the best shape since my 20’s
Same here.
Tom, you and your team at Impact Theory are co-creating true change. This episode is massively impactful. Thank you. Keep jamming!
Wow he's the perfect example of Reinventing yourself. It's amazing how one can do that.
This is just what I need( at 56) to go back to practice after years of sickness& joblessness.
Linda M thanks for writing this one out!
Success is the recognition that you didn't do it alone. It's somebody who trusted you, somebody who believed in you, somebody who got your back, somebody who risked their reputation to endorse you. Success is generally a team sport.
APTTMH..Words of WISDOM!!!
Wooow never heard of Rushon before. It’s hard to believe all these achievements belong to one person! Happy to hear some words from him!

Blessings

He’s Very Inspirational And I Love he want to see other people win and willing to Share his Knowledge with others is a Blessing!God Bless You Mr. Rushion
Very inspiring interview with Mr. McDonald! I decided myself (a few months ago) to resign from my position at a larger Life-Science company, move away from the town I live in and start my own business, simply because:
-The job is not stimulating anymore (only routine tasks)
-The colleagues are mostly dull and filled with negativity.
I love this CHANNEL!!! Omg, thank you!!!

"Set that plan in play"
When you set your plan to do complete a project in 6 months and by the 5th month you get natural pressure from your past commitment and all this energy should be used towards your goal
I think most people dont put their plan in play so they never feel the commitment, or deadline pressure
