      Please be reasonable about the scheme you and the majority are participating in and perpetuating. The business scheme part of the work you are helping others and yourself with, coincides with a massive corruption, theft, and slavery scheme to harm and keep the scheme going. Humanity continues to be very bad at raising children, it's not even a main issue being addressed, even though it's literally the fundamental core problem causing the majority of human caused problems. Please come to see the bigger picture and help a child or two or more, in ways you never thought about before.

      They are in it with either the truck stop owners or managers so they get a cut of the booting or towing fee if you pay it. As far as the glad hand lock if you remove the two bolts that hold the locking flange on problem solved. As far as the boot if it has a door that covers the locking mechanism just use a pry bar and pop that door open and many boots just use a allen head screw to tighten the actual locking mechanism. These rouge towing companies are just scamming drivers in conjunction with paying bribes to the stop managers in order to perpetuate their scams.

    I got one of those windshield boots about a year ago. I used a flat piece of metal to get up under it to break the suction. Once I got it off it started beeping really loud so I put it on the ground in front of the drive tires. After a couple of time pulling and backing over it the beeping stopped. I called the boot company told them where it was at. Never heard another word from them.

    I mentioned this in another video somewhere. I'm an OO. A couple of years ago I delivered direct to a walmart and when empty I pulled off to the back and parked where the dock manager told me was OK to for the night. I went in and did some shopping. When I came out I was booted. I went right back in to complain and they said they are not responsible. That the property owners they lease from don't want trucks parking on their property and have an independent tow company enforce it. They apparently had a running dispute about having them verifying legitimate parking of delivery vehicles. After being notified of the cost for them to come and remove it I waited till the morning so they wouldn't re boot me and cut it off. Also do a thorough walk around if you are booted in a shady manner. I've talked to a few this has happened to. I had an additional chain threaded through both inner duals,axle,and brake chambers on the rear axle of my trailer. Just walking around it wasn't noticed but I get down and check for damage and that was when I noticed it. If I had pulled forward it would have ripped both brake chambers off and most likely taken out airbags before locking up tires. It was good 5/16 transport grade that laced between the drum and wheel. I kept it and use it to this day on my tractor.

    • @MikeDCWeld
      @MikeDCWeld Год назад +5

      If they told you that you could park overnight knowing that the owners of the property don't allow parking and have an independent tow company doing enforcement on that, they are _definitely_ responsible. It's not the drivers' problem that they can't work out a way to provide parking for drivers who need it following a delivery while also preventing unauthorized parking.

    • @cohendmr
      @cohendmr Год назад +2

      @Michael Carnes unfortunately it tends to be disreputable tow companies that are the main problem. They are supposed to verify legitimate parking first but it profits them to just boot and scoot.

    Sadly, this abuse just doesn't only happen to truckers. There is a corrupt towing company in my city that is notorious for hauling peoples vehicles to their impound lot for completely illegitimate reasons. They charge the owners ridiculous fees that include: removing all fluids from them because they say that, gas, oil and antifreeze is a toxic hazzard to their storage facility. They then of course will charge the owners to reinstall all of these fluids when they come to pick the vehicle up. They wont even let customers drive their own cars out of the storage lot because they tell them its a liability issue, the owner must then pay an additional fee for an employee of this towing company to drive the car 100 feet from their impound lot to a public street. Crooks like this pull these criminal acts off every day and make insane amounts of money in the process. Something most definitely needs to be done to shut these criminal scalpers down and prosecute them accordingly

A-1 Towing has a bad reputation with being low down and dirty… this company trolls the parking there on a regular basis… they signed that contract in January and they pulled everything that was on the lord the day after it was signed… and had to release several trucks that already paid parking w/ monthly pass

      @pierredelecto7069 it's called predatory towing / force towing with a individual inside of vehicle that is so illegal. Even if you paid or not u still get booted In that truck stop, cuz I heard it only takes 5 min and they are there already, in this scenario the owner needs to notify tow company first that's standard law, but the dumbasses over there give the towing comp a free reign so they are part of it. I'll bet they hide their notification sign of pay parking somewhere where a driver can't see it.

    • @pierredelecto7069
      @pierredelecto7069 Год назад

      @@anthonysaradpon6191 the owner doesn't have to notify the tow company. Property owners can simply have a contract with tow operators to go patrol their lot. Our tow company does that for a university, apartment complexes, and a few other businesses. It varies by state but for Pennsylvania you just need a sign up that says you will be towed.
      If you are booting people that paid that's a huge problem, but in this video this guy admits he did NOT pay.
      It's not predatory towing to tow people who are parked illegally. It's just how the world works. As for towing a vehicle with people in it? That's just against DOT rules. Which is why they boot.

    I built this a year ago and it brought the needed attention. I've done this a few times over the last 10 years. When drivers can quickly access information needed and everyone reaches out to the correct people, This guy now has the TN FBI, Federal FBI and local cops on his ass. YEAH

    That's true!!! Last month I went to the XPO warehouse on Memphis and dropped the trailer and there's no truck stops near so I had to go to the Love's
    It's crazy in there. Parking always full, you are lucky if you find a spot. So I drove around I saw that truck stop and you know when you see something it doesn't feel secure so went back to Love's. Unfortunately I don't know but for 2 days in a row security was knocking up the driver's door, I think it was to check you were there. I don't think they allow to park and go home unless you get approval from mgmt. Be careful because I saw lot lizards and cops, oh and go slow because those potholes might break your rig 🤣 that entrance it's just insane! Be safe out there.

They hold your car HOSTAGE just so they can collect the FULL fees. I went the next day to pay, and they didn’t release it till 4 days later.

If fraud happens you will never get your money back unless the fraudster pays you back where banks will refund the money and go after the ass themselves. In other words with cashapp and zell you have to take legal action yourself which takes time, money and is hard to do because it is hard to prove you didn't just give the money to them for some other reason. Banks do the legwork themselves because they are legally obligated to do so.

    I use to be a tow truck driver and also assistance with repos. First of all if we doing a PI personal impound if we pysically see you we have to offer a drop or a fee where you can take the boot off usealy half of what it would be to come back out. Signs have to be visible in well lit I know in Nevada you have to have signs in multiple parts of the property. Don't get me wrong I've heard the stories. A veteran tow truck driver said they would go to apartments use a slim Jim take the hanging permits out of victims car take a picture with the old polaroids camera and then tow them for not having a permit visible sometimes in one night they tow 40 to 50 cars in one complex. Some tow truck companies are really scandalous

    2 weeks ago in Lafayette Indiana at the Meijer parking lot (where I and hundreds of others have parked for YEARS) got booted with a device called a barnacle on my windshield. The company, called Booted up, sent their goons to wake me up AFTER they booted me to tell me I'm not allowed to park there anymore. Cost me $1030 to get it off.
