I amazed that y'all took this old KW and brought it back to life. It's a beautiful machine and undoubtedly a hard working truck. Up in Turley OK there's an old cabover truck just sitting there. I have driven past it many times and thought... man someone should restore that old truck and get it out on the road again. No one has, and it's just sitting there. I hope someone will restore it. Keep em rolling!

The problem is its original black paint job. May it look like MotorMaster. Which was kind of fun because that's the exact type of truck MotorMaster turns into.

There was however a different character that transformed into this exact type of truck. The decepticon stuntcon leader Motormaster who turns into the main torso of Wenosaur

It looks so good! I have a question about extending the chassis length - is that just because you prefer the look? Or is there a practical advantage over the shorter chassis?

Oh wow I love it. I drove cab overs almost 50yrs. Ran east coast to west coast but they were double wide Pete's. I drove some like your remodel only older as I'm old now. Started in 1970 an retired now. Beautiful beautiful job. Oh I wanted to get in it an ride with you. The real truckers are just a memory in my opinion. Big R, roadway was the brunt of the jokes back then. They still could out drive these clowns today on their worst day. Your truck is fabulous.
In the 70's there was a K100 with a custom truck hauling bed. They pulled one of the first W900 double bunks (that had been set up for racing.) It was actually two single sleepers mated together. They ran around the state fair circuit. Beautiful trucks. I have a post card of the pair.
When I say that was an insane restoration and build 😮 just wow I mean very impressive work all the way around you guys blew my mind what an amazing job you all did

Sweet ride. Great video. In our line of work and that huge amount of rail space, I'd stretch those fuel tanks out a little further for range and sacrifice the liquid weight.

That is Some Pretty looking Truck. My Dad used to own a fleet back in the 70's and early 80's. He sold it all When my Brother died at 22. While driving for him. 1982. Brand New truck and had head Collision with another Semi in Maine.

The finished result gives me Optimus Prime vibes. That's the reason why I like the cabover so much.

Rides better...can also hang products over the front of the trailer instead of off the rear and avoid buying a permit for oversize loads
