Great info. Is it possible to set the camera on 2 second remote without having to do it for each shot? Also can I change the time so I have more than a few seconds to take a picture before it shuts down to save power? Thanks bro
Thank Goodness for this. Geezus, this camera is so frustration. I am borrowing this camera, butI can't way to buy my own camera. I'm looking at a GH5 for video but I do want to take pictures once in a while.
Hi, nice video. Help me with a problem. I have this nikon d5100 camera, but the last video I made, I can't transfer it via cable, as usual. I don't know what the problem is ... , It only transfers my pictures. Tears don't transfer them.can you help me? Thanks.
Just in case people here do not know, there has been a group that fixed this. Nikon Hacker. You can turn the D5100 in to a feature filled camera with a true Manual exposure on Live view. That auto lock button did not stop the shutter speed from changing. The meta data on the pics showed it was still under the camera's control. After this experience, I have not trusted any DSLR with an auto E lock to actually have a true Manual setting, and all of them have one.
HELLP!!! My camera (nikon d5100) automatically shuts OFF while shooting a video. How do I set up where I can keep shooting without it turning itself off? Anyone?? Help??
I have got a Nikon D5100 and yet when I go into the menu my menu is completely different from what was shown here. It is pissing me right off. All I want to do is learn how to use my camera and what are the all-around best settings to use. Why does it have to be so fucken hard? It is pointless for me to watch any of these videos because I don't know what kind of Nikon D5100 I got but it isn't the same as the one used here.
Go Into your menu go to the pencil one which is custom settings the. Go to assign AE-L/AF,,-L BUTTON. Then go down to the third ine it says hold at the end.. click that. Now everytime u set your settings I. Manual mode click the button beside the i button. Push it and it will lock in settings. Make sure u do that everytime u change them..I hope I made sense , he shows it in this video at 3:16
