  • Recently Dan from Mac Tools stopped by the garage and demonstrated the full RBRT line that Mac Tools offers on their tool trucks or also available online. They have much more in the works as well, and we will be having Dan back to discuss those in the future.

    Do you own any of these sets? I honestly think this is a must have tool for anyone.

      Redemption Garage I’m a cnc operator and use the the torx rbrt daily. They work wonderfully for changing carbide inserts. I only wish they made a t-6, t7, and t-9. I haven’t stripped a screw yet and have gotten out many comprised screws, saving hours of man time.

      I wish I did. They're still a bit out of my pocket though. I dont have a truck to get an account on. I'm hopin that I can find a deal at a pawn shop or OfferUp at some point.

    Brian, great video for a couple of reasons. First, bringing in a rep that actually knows the product is much more awesome content than “let’s abuse this tool until it breaks” or a “feels good in the hand” unboxing. Second, taking the time and effort to adjust the levels on your video so the viewer doesn’t get their eardrums blown out by the hammering is GREATLY appreciated.

    Hello again Little Brother
    Great Video as always. As a Aircraft Mechanic I deal with a lot #2 Phillips screws, high torx and tri-wing screws. Of course these are all different styles of screws. Will Mac be offering those styles of bits? Again thank you

    Nice video I have to many hex and torx sockets but I don’t own any mid lengths so I might have to get mids just to complete my set and if I run into a rounded faster I’ll be good!

    I think these were “new” last year. These are not everyday sockets. These are special sockets when the head is stripped out. Please don’t use these instead of a regular hex or torx. They definitely work well except the ball hex. Those are garbage. The extractors look cool. I didn’t know about the triple square. Cool stuff

    • @RedemptionGarage
      @RedemptionGarage  4 года назад

      The extractors are new they were first introduced about 9 months ago. As far as everyday use the developer of the tool is claiming they are everyday tools and I see no reason why they couldn't be used as everyday tools but if you didnt want to then thats your prerogative

      No. They bite the head. No one should use turbo sockets for every bolt they remove.

      @@stevenfarley6909 The RBRT sockets are not "turbo sockets".. They are supposed to be used first so you do not strip out the fasteners. If you find a stripped out fastener RBRT also has extractors to use if the regular RBRT won't remove the stripped out fasener.
