I think one of the things that make Peter even more busted and why I always disable him when I want to go for a religious victory, is that the Lavra gives 2 great prophet points a turn for some reason.

gotta thank you man, you make my favourite civ 6 content by far. I appreciate only playing one game of a channel can be really tiring, but I really do appreciate having these Civ 6 videos still being uploaded

My favourite ever religious victory was with Peter - I had a LOT of Tundra, and I also had access to Ubsunur Hollow - by parking cities all around the wonder, I managed to get four Holy Sites with an average of +10 adjacency each (using Dance Of The Aurora and Work Ethic) which I then was able to use the Scripture (to double the adjacency) and extra faith from the buildings with Simultaneum, meant I had an unstoppable wave of belief!

Q: Russia is top 3 on which victory types? A: Yes.

Good video. Def think Menelik is underrated in this video though - his rock churches plus his +1 faith per improved resource give SO MUCH faith and the fact that he gets +15% science and Culture from his faith just allows him to advance so quickly without any focus on Campus or Theatre squares. Menelik really snowballs so much, My top 3 would be Menlik, Basil, and Peter.

He forgot the Khmer entirely which doesn't really surprise me.

Ah shoot, I actually did haha. I'm not sure I would say they're top 3, but definitely deserve an honorable meniton

It seems that somewhat of a good start is needed for them, but the Khmer are insane if left alone enough to grow and snowball. I'd put them Top 3 but I'm also not experienced .

My favorite civilization when I first got the game was Russia, and then a few months later Byzantium came out and I found my other favorite civilization. Seeing both Russia and Byzantium in the same Top 3 list brings a tear to my eye. I love it.
Also I'd just like to mention that although Mansa Musa has the best Pantheon setup, both Russia and Byzantium are the only two civs in the whole game to get a BASE of two Great Prophet points per holy site. Which gives them a huge head start in the "race to get a religion" phase of the game.
In addition to this, Russia and Byzantium can EASILY pivot to culture and domination, respectively. Mansa Musa is going to have a hard time pivoting to either of those types of victories - especially if Russa or Byzantium are in the same game.
And yes, if you're actually worried about getting a prophet, just grab Divine Spark as Byzantium.
Russia kinda wants/needs Dance of the Aurora, but has slightly better prophet nabbing due to Lavra building 50% faster.
SHOUTOUT to Japan, my 3rd favorite civ!

I would argue that Mansa Musa is actually one of the best all-round civs in the game. He generates so much gold that you can just buy whatever units, buildings and great people you want (with Reyna and Moksha as a governors you can buy districts too)

I think partially the strength of a civ might be boosted or reduced by the map type you're playing.

Why did you keep calling Mali "The Mali"? You added "The" pretty much every single time, but didn't say "The Russia" or "The Byzantium" Is that the official name of the country?
