    Out here doing the lord’s work. Great video! Definitely hitting your stride man. Although different physics than sport. The Major difference is the aero. As someone who loves tuning (Although a average tuner) I still really enjoy making a car fun to drive for me. Any videos on the aero would be awesome. Problem is there is so much to it. adding certain things to the car changes the aero max & min.

    Fantastic stuff as always mate! Very helpful. I had the misfortune of choosing Genesis for the Manufacturer's Cup. I suppose it is ok, but I'm new and not doing well with it compared to the BoP powerhouses, and one thing with the Gr4 $wD Genesis car is that I would really, really like to be able to adjust these things for it. This was very helpful.

    Thank you for the insight, I need to test how the different braking sensitivity affects the braking in a 4wd car. I'm struggling with the the Suzuka gr.1 menu race, the car is near impossible to trailbrake at higher speeds, like the first corner and the Spoon curve (I'm using the Mazda LM55 VGT because I got it from lottery ticket). It tends to snap into oversteer with both braking sensitivities at 30, and initial torque at 11-15 front and rear, almost impossible to recover and losing me a second to the leader at each corner

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  2 года назад +1

      Get the braking sensitivity raised up as high as it can go. That should help.
      But the VGT cars can behave a bit strange. Hopefully it’ll work.

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  2 года назад

      Also. Leader has to pit twice. They are really fast but lose in pits.

  • @ShanesAutos
    @ShanesAutos Год назад +1

    What would you recommend for the Lamborghini Murcielago? It understeers a lot, I don’t want it to drift either I just want it to get around corners cleaner with minimal understeer. This Lambo is a hefty car in real life to and certainly not the most nimble Lambo ever made.

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  Год назад +1

      as a start, I'd set the front diff to be all low numbers, tune the centre torque bias as you are driving to see what feels best.
      that would be the first step and then see how it feels

  • @SidBonkers51
    @SidBonkers51 2 года назад +1

    Thanks for the tips, i really wish there was a way to adjust the settings on the fly rather than have tp back out of a race, time trial etc for every tweak, it seems to take forever to tune a car properly.

    Can you examine a weird behaviour I noticed: Got a fully tuned Lamborghini Veneno on Special Stage Route X. When I put 50:50 torque it goes faster top speed in a straight line than on 5:95. The revs and speed change as you vary it along the straight. Seems weird, right?

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  2 года назад +1

      This sounds strange. Does the car have any hybrid/battery? Could be that. Those often drive the front wheels.

    • @6rimR3ap3r
      @6rimR3ap3r 2 года назад +1

      @@Doughtinator apparently the Veneno is just driven by the V12, no hybrid System.
      If it was faster with 5:95 could have been taller rear gearing like the Ford Focus RS has in real life.

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  2 года назад

      Yeah maybe it’s a split gearing front/rear. Very interesting though 👍🏻

    Amazing video mate! I've got a weird problem because my AWD will turn well on throttle but doesn't turn at all under breaking or even just coasting. Wondering if you have any advice because you seem to know tuning well?

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  2 года назад

      Thanks man. Defo reduce the Braking LSD settings on both front and rear. That should help.
      Even more change the centre torque bias to be more rearwards. That will help too but will change the way it drives on throttle too.
