For anyone else making a decision between the two: in addition to the vibration safety alerts, the GMC also has HUD and both front seats are powered (including bolsters), unlike the ZR2. You lose the jounce dampers as standard though. Another tip, do not assume all AEV’s have underbody cams. A lot of dealers missed that, possibly thinking it was included in other packages. Only a few hundred more when optioned but unknown if it can be added afterwards with full functionality (like the washing feature).
Don’t forget, The Jounces are part of the Bison package for the Colorado, but not included in the AEV package on the Canyon. They are a $3800 CDN option on the canyon. That puts the comparable price between the two much higher for the canyon
The one thing I can't understand is the hard plastic on the dashboard and doors, if I'm going to pay over 60 grand for a car I expect at least soft plastic
FYI the wheels on both trucks are by AEV they aren't a different brand at all. Maybe you should do your homework on American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) before you do a video.

I went with the ZR2, no Bison package. Put the 15K in my pocket and the spare is where it belongs. Truck is a blast!

Finally I've been waiting for someone to do this comparison
Love the exterior of the ZR2 and the interior of the AT4X. Both are awesome trucks. The ZR2 Bison is my choice! 💯

How long do the cameras stay on when driving what speed do they turn off
Anyone complaining about the spare in the bed is not looking at these trucks for what they were intended to do.
To be fair, they really should have put in digital rear view mirrors.

"Already aggressive Colorado" never thought I'd ever hear that lol
what’s with all these inappropriate bot comments ?
GMC 👍😎
GMC Canyon AT4x vs. ZR2
My ZR2 (not Bison), Has driver assist and you can't use it. It is too wide, you fight the pinball effect.
Salta is ARV wheels
Why didn’t they put the spare tire on passenger side?
I believe when you do a proper shoulder check over you right shoulder, the tire would be in an even worse location on the passenger side.
@@okanaganoverlanding2912bingo nailed it
What you use to drive, bicycle ?
@@baye2266 no I use tricycle lol
No multimatic jounce on gmc.
Nice looking trucks with beds that are good for a set of golf clubs. Put some long beds on these trucks or call them hybrid SUV's.
I would just buy a full size truck
For another 20-30k!?
@@Visher huh? These trucks are 70k that is full size truck money
@@dnice362 Sure, if you get a base model full size. But you can't compare a top trim midsize to a bottom trim full size.
@@Visher sure you can, way more room, way more practical. I want the most for my money. For example what’s the starting msrp of a tremor 150?
At4 vs z71

Looks like a Maverick. Gay.

LMAO. So true!
It looks like a 2010 model

👌🥰👍
You should not be reviewing these trucks if you are complaining about the rear view due to the tire mount!
RANGER RAPTOR all day long for Value.... Period.
