Awesome! I got a new ZR2 last week and I love it too. This ZR2 is high! My wife can’t even get in without the handle. And the bison is higher! Haha enjoy!
I have a regular ZR2 I do not think that the Bison is worth the money they should have added the camera for the rear view mirror like they offer in so many other vehicles
People are missing the point. Not everyone wants the size of a full size truck. Also, would you rather have the most amped up off road ready best looking midsize on the market or a mundane run of the mill full size? Same price.
I went with the Colorado ZR2 minus the Bison package. I put the 12 thousand bucks for the Bison package in my pocket, and still have a truck more than capable for anything I'll ever need. Awesome truck...love it.
Same here. My '23 ZR2 is just incredible. We've taken it on long highway trips (23mpg) where it rides great/quiet and advanced offroad where it inspires confidence. The 2.7I4T is a STUD. ZERO Issues.
@docholliday6285 Exactly. I kinda hate that they always test the Bison against other trucks, then cry about the pricetag. Not that 52K is cheap, but it's a bargain compared to a Raptor Ranger or a Tacoma Pro, and it competes well with both, and looks alot better IMHO.
I’m pretty sure if you really wanted the bison you could save the 12k as you did and make it look just as good with another 5k in wheels lol nice truck man enjoy.
@@Grayfox_908 kinda agree with you. All I would like added to my ZR2 is full plates underneath, bigger tires and those great shocks on all four corners instead of two.
For those who balk at a 4-popper, you're living in the past. I have a '23 ZR2 and the engine is a STUD. Designed from the start as a truck engine with diesel like design. This has as much HP and MORE torque than my two Suburbans (5.3, 5.7L). 23mpg highway. As a former mechanic I'm thrilled with the engine. I also understand change is difficult for some.
SOO expensive but this package is like 12k and gives you Wheels tires bumpers and the bump stops if you don't need that save the money and get the same truck essentially for thousands less
I have a 2024 ZR2 bison. Really love the truck. Wish they would have put a rear view mirror camera in because of the spare tire blocking the view. Maybe that will be an option later. Do wish to point out It will fit in a standard garage, But you do have to go to a smaller antenna on top for those who wish to know that.
Saving up for my ZR2 right now. Without the bison trim. But even on the regular ZR2 you can fit 35in tires stock. and if its to close for comfort you can do a 1-2in level and be golden. save the 12k and do whatever you like. regular ZR2 is the best bang for the buck as I see it rn. was thinking about getting a 24 TRD off-road but I think compared to this its just not fair lol The new TRD PRO should have been around the 54k mark I feel. Not 65k..
@@adrianw3985old facts like myself. Whi have saved up lots of money can afford to buy this nice of a truck in our middle age years. Think I am going to go ahead and buy the zr2 bison edition. Got my Bison yesterday, and I freaking love it .

Way to go Chevy! This may be my next truck.
Hello
The tires are not mud terrains. They are maximum traction. That's why they are not noisy
My 2020 zr2 bison with a v6 is way better. Interior also. I have headlight switches
I think Chevy & Ford are stepping up their game, while Toyota is dropping the ball, they should be able to pull market share away from Toyota.
Chevy has really stepped up their game, impressive truck. The midsized truck category has gotten really competitive.
What a cool truck! I can't wait to get mine.

Great looking truck… but the price! Yikes!
TRD Pro tacoma is the same price, and this is arguably more capable. I'd take the normal ZR2 and save myself $14k though, personally.
Will easily pay another 7 to 10 grand morw to own a new 2024 Tacoma trd pro or a 2024 ranger raptor trucks.

Very nice presentation 👍 with straightforward review.

One note on the MPG, I’m getting 19 city and hwy. maybe I’ll get 20 once it breaks in. This Colorado is a great driver too. Very impressive
Great Video
NOPE... Ford Ranger Raptor All day Long...
Is the spare tire removable to improve the view?

Pretty sure they put the tire in bed because a 35-inch tire would t fit underneath. Not for more bed space. That makes no sense.
He was never talking about it fitting underneath. It used to be in the middle of the bed. It was never “underneath”
@RobDTom, ahh, yes. Fair point. I do recall it being in the middle of the 2023 bison.
Love mine
Don’t know why they put that tire in the back Smh
It won't fit underneath
Get the ZR2, minus the Bison package. You put 12K in your pocket, and the spare goes underneath.
Bonito, mas ainda prefiro o ranger raptor
I think it’s mostly old farts complaining about price. Newsflash , prices only go in one direction.
Newsflash, old farts are the only ones that can afford these trucks.
Typical old fart annoying answer

Nope on the 4 cylinders

motor suck in the newer trucks. 2.7L... you'll work it to death off road. Just another city truck with a fancy suspension.
Too bad you also get really bad GM quality. Those aren’t selling at all.
The problem with the price is that you can actually get a full size truck
Good luck with that. Lol
