Tales of the Abyss at 78 is crazy. It is such a great game.
@@superbosssavage I was surprised by that
Yeah some of these are quite surprising I know that Rogue Galaxy gets a lot of criticism but seems to be scored decently on metacritic. Also noticed there's no FFX on this list 👀
@RPGStory haven't beaten it yet. I'm still working on it. It's a good game, though I'm surprised how much fun I've had with it so far
Great video man, and interesting concept as well. Love your PS2 JRPG collection, it's so good ❤
@@uppernimbus I got a decent selection of jrpgs, but I ended getting rid of alot in order get some games from other genres
I guess metacritic is mostly based on reviews from around the time the game released, quite interesting to see which games have aged well or not compared to what critics thought at the time
First: that shirt looks good on you!! 👌
Second: I loved the video, although, as you mention in the video and I share that opinion, it is important not to get carried away or believe what those types of platforms that share a score say, because it is quite subjective and sometimes, wrong. But this dynamic was quite interesting, seeing how much score Metacritic gives to your 21 favorite jrpgs (among those titles that I had no idea of the low score they had damn! Tales of the abyss hurt me 😫 ) and then your personal opinion!! good video!!
@hannamoonieYT thanks I honestly don't pay much attention to Metacritic, I only did this time for the video
@@mechaotakugamer x2 although it is interesting to know through these types of videos how screwed up the reviews can sometimes be or how fair they can be with certain titles, greetings!! ✌✌
The critics at the time really got annoyed with Luke's character and may have never finished the game, I looked at an official critic at the time, I can't remember exactly which one it was, but it infuriated me since Tales of the Abyss is also my favourite game of all time, and it got shafted because some people couldn't stand to sit through a couple hours of character development.
@@Franckatana and thays why I never truly care to follow anything that critics say about anything. Except for this video
