The Y's series is one of da GOATs as far as action RPGs go. My absolute favorite action RPG of course is Nier Automata.

As always, what a great list!!! I played star ocean two for the first time with the remake and it was my game of the year last year. Such an absolute incredible game. Actually, every game you named on your list I have played and I really think this is a great list of games.

The only thing I don't like about the Graces f Remaster is the grade system at the beginning of the game and the option to retry a battle after you failed, that is cheating. I heard you can choose not to use the grade system, but that is intended to be a reward for how well you do. I'm not sure if you can turn off the battle retry option. It removes the consequences of being destroyed in a dungeon and losing 30 minutes of ranking up if you didn't save. Technically this means you can't lose, I didn't ask for this kind of streamlining, there better be an option to turn it off.

Congrats again on 400 subs! Reviews are hit and miss for plenty of content creators, that's why I avoid them myself. Also I recommend getting a gimbal for camera and phone stabilisation, I've been considering getting one for future outdoor filming as well! Great pickups too! 😎

Vita has a nice selection of great ones.. And access to alot of classics on the ps1 classic section.. Freedom wars is awesome reminds of me of god eater kinda. I wish it came to the switch.. And your right about the trails series you got to start at the beginning..

The critics at the time really got annoyed with Luke's character and may have never finished the game, I looked at an official critic at the time, I can't remember exactly which one it was, but it infuriated me since Tales of the Abyss is also my favourite game of all time, and it got shafted because some people couldn't stand to sit through a couple hours of character development.

Tales of the Abyss at 78 is crazy. It is such a great game.

I love the Vita so much! I haven't played mine in a while, but I'm going to get back into Cold Steel 1 & 2 soon. I might finally get around to beating Ys Origin first, though, especially with Oath in Felghana coming out next March! I've always been curious about Exist Archive. I'm going to have to pick it up sometime as it's fairly common for a Vita game so it's not super expensive.

I guess metacritic is mostly based on reviews from around the time the game released, quite interesting to see which games have aged well or not compared to what critics thought at the time

greetings here watching a past video jeje I love watching the Japanese versions of video games but I was speechless to know that in the United States you can find the American version of tales of the abyss!! damn 30 or 40 dollars maybe less?!! I want that!! In my case they only sell it online but at an exorbitant price from 125 to 153 (around 2500 to 3000 Mexican pesos) dollars and without counting its shipping!! Thank God at least I was able to get its beautiful and cheap Japanese version, I hope in the future to be able to get the American one, anyway excellent video and Japanese versions the ones you have those exclusive Tales of games AAA I loved seeing them here, I would like them to make a remake or remaster to be able to play them!!

I 100% agree with the backwards compatible complaint! For the price point, this sucker should be backwards compatible with PS1 - PS5. Get some Slots in there for the Vita and PSP too!

Great video! I'm a big Playstation fan but even I can't justify this crap. I've been thinking about it and there are three things that bothers me most about this Pro model. First up, although I do realize that the Pro model is optional, they are promising things (framerates of 60 fps in demanding games) that they already promised with the base PS5. And now they are acting like that awesome machine is underpowered. Secondly, what's up with the pricing in Europe? If I want the console with the drive; it's 920 euros which is more than 1000 USD. That's the reward for years of Playstation loyalty in Europe? And third, if this thing sells, what is gonna happen with PS6? No discdrive and 800 USD to buy it? Because the PS6 should be more powerful than the PS5 Pro in about three years right? It's crazy and I'm so happen I can stick with the my base PS5 which is ironically the best console for preservation

Once I saw the American prices, I knew Australia was screwed. It's like $1200 AUD, absolutely disgusting when it takes me months to save up for something like that. Loved the rant though.

My vote for most underrated PS2 game goes to Psi Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy. Metal Gear where you get psychic powers, and used them to endlessly screw with hapless guards. It had THE most fun telekinesis in any video game ever. 5 whole months before no one could stop talking about the gravity gun in Half Life 2.

This was a big surprise to seeing tales of graces f on nintendo direct, so happy the game is coming next year. This one was one of my favorite tales games and hoping other past tales will come to the recent consoles too😊
