I actually own one of the original body chan dolls and it's amazing. I really improved on drawing anatomy in perspective. It's super nice to first decide on the pose and then look at it from differnt angles. the original doll moves more realistic and it doesn't fall apart. I can only reccomend it (if you've got he money).
Miss Shelley May haha yeah in the U.S. we have those too, and the first time i used this kind of boogie board, everyone was like "boogie board this boogie board that" and I was like "whaaaaaaaaaat I don't see a pool toy" haha XD
4:14 Aaaaaaand that’s why you don’t buy bootlegs, kids 😂 The original Figmas aren’t supposed to do that lol. They’re around 30€,they’re not that expensive. If you’re interested, you should really check them out!
While the neck does look abnormally long on the posable doll I do think it might be because the doll is more "anime" style. Which if you really look closely at Japanese anime style the characters necks are often longer than we are used to. In fact in many Japanese animes if the character has a short neck or really small eyes it indicates that that particular character is either evil or devious.
Chloe Rose Art It is for anine style. I got one for myself to help me get better at anatomy. But be careful they fall apart really easily of you're not gentle
You did use the scissors wrong... imagine you have a really big piece of paper and you want to cut a straight line.. you can mark the point where you want to end up.. than you can check that the red line touches the mark and than you’ll get your straight line
I think the idea with the laser scissors is to make a mark on the other end of the paper so that you have a fixed point to aim for... probably still won’t work that well. :P
I think I've got it. Maybe you place a dot on the paper for where you want the cut to end, then just keep the laser focused on that dot while you cut along the beam. That still sounds potentially problematic.
HAHAHAH I didn't do it on purpose but noticed it immediately as I edited! And I put this video live to my Patrons on Patreon last night so they got early access ^_^
Not sure if someone else has already said this, but the first item you showed, the writing tablet, has a name brand called the "Boogie Board." We use ours as a sort of memo pad for notes/dates. They're sort of a little one trick pony, but still pretty neato.
I think the toy you were thinking of with that light pad was a MagnaDoodle! I used to love those things! The cord was always so short too Jeez. LOL That device looks like it would be fun to play with and you could always snap a picture with your phone to save it! As for that glove those also help cancel out your Palm when you're drawing on a phone/tablet! I need to get one of those! I also have an official Body-chan and she's far more sturdy than that. Easily posable and her neck doesn't look that whack! A small one like that is like 25~50 USD (last I checked) and they're pretty good for quick poses! And I'm always surprised by lefties who can't work right handed scissors! I'm a natural lefty but I've used my right hand for scissors and other tools as long as I can remember. 😅 I dislike most 'left handed' tools because they hurt to use. Back in my 90s school computer lab classes I used to lie that I was right handed so the teacher would stop putting me on the god awful giant teacher computer with a left handed mouse. *bleh* 😱
That’s the one! They were a lot of fun despite the short cord haha. I’m definitely going to look into the official ones! I like the idea of them a lot :) I don’t actually have any left-handed pair of scissors haha, I use right handed ones all the time they just stop feeling so comfortable if you’re cutting a lot 😅
I've been using a writing tablet for years and I love them. I was hysterical when you were so taken aback by what it was. I buy the Brand Boogie Board. You can even store your notes on your pc on some of their versions!
the point with the laser on the scissors is that you can mark the middle of the paper on both sides (like by measuring) and you don't need do draw a line. You just adjust the laser to the point and start cutting.
I think you just got a bootleg figurine from wish. I have the actual body chan and the neck proportion was actually fine. The figure also posed better and did not break as easily as yours. A lot of people say the neck is just long for an anime art style but no neck is seriously that long, even in anime. For a few dollars though, I guess the wish figure is fine since you get what you pay for, but I prefer the actual model since it helps with my drawing better. :)
Flamie definitely wasn’t real, knew buying it that it wasn’t the official one but I like trying the things they have there 😂 I’d like to try the more expensive ones one day
I have those figures, except mine are high quality, they aren't sold any more, and they are more realistic. They also come with more hand poses and props, though they aren't the proper ones you showed in you video. They are awesome and I have really improved my anatomy with them.
"I can't use this as it's for right handed people.. and I'm a lefty.. how rude!" *literally me my entire life* (I can do some things with my right, but not the major "handed" things like super neat writing or cutting..
I love how she said the glove is handy!😂😂😂 Also how she completely de-limbed the sculpture thing. "Engrave your dolls, your belongings, your boyfriend". It's funny how she tested the straight line scissors on a line quality paper.
Lol I've missed these so much, tbh most of the stuff from wish is either really good, terrible or 'Omg what the hell happened did I murder someone.' I'll just stick to browsing on amazon for six hou- half an hour. In other news, my art has improved so much since some of your tip videos! And I'm so proud of your growth and mine! Instagram has finally decided to work too :D
Thank you! Yeah it is, I'm either surprised at how good something is or not surprised if it's bad haha I'm SO glad to hear that!!! Congratulations on your progress :)
those laser scissors would actually be super helpful with sewing if they were on thread snips. it can be quite tricky determining which stitch needs cutting and an extra light source is exactly what most use to help. not it's intended design but still somewhat useful. love your videos.😊
My husband and I have that engraver, he bought it a few years ago before we got married. It works on soft metals as well. Useful if you do a lot of group activities like we do (ex: he's a DJ and we regularly play shows in the summer so it's helpful for not getting our gear stolen since it's got our names on it).
On the smudge glove/half glove: it's a good thing if it's a bit snug when you first get it. The most common type of material used for those gloves will stretch out a bit over time, but if it's too snug to be comfortable, you can soak it in water and then pull it around a glass or water bottle while it dries to loosen it up.
I bought one of those boards for a autistic student I worked with. He loved it for practicing his letters during work time and doodling during his free time! It is great for young children and students with special needs.
The "half a glove " u can use it when you draw with grafic pencils . U know that time when u draw something in pencil and then u get it all over your little finger? Well u can use that for preventing those situations
This video just popped up on my RUclips recommendations. First thing she opens up, a tablet thing that my nephew was playing with at the weekend and I couldn't figure out what it was. Weird, but Chloe Rose you have answered my questions. Thank you. xxx

Oh yay! I missed your Wish videos ^-^. I think if you were to use a ruler to make a straight line on the paper, or had an end mark, the scissors would be possibly more effective. Although then again, probably not lol. I thunbsed up because I liked the video, so you know at least one of them are legit :P ♡
paranoiaprincess I thought about that! But then I’m like what’s the point in the laser at all if you can just use a ruler? Oh well, fun to play with anyway haha. Thanks for the thumbs up!
I lovee lovee how you are really not negative like all the wish reviews that just start with like pissy additude expecting a high quality things. One thing I must say is that the glove thing is originally not for digital artist, Ik because I've seen it on ebay when it just started selling and I've been wanting to buy myself, but for sketch book smudges. The only con of it would be that your hands starts to get really sweaty quickly.
It is a knockoff, and that's one of the reasons all the limbs seemed elongated and kept falling apart. The real figures by Bandai are light years better, and worth the money for the quality.
This is very interesting because literally all of those things I have in my saved folder on wish, but never actually got around to buy them so now I have a new perspective, I guess half are still staying on this list :) Thank you for making this video

I'm an aspiring comic writer and illustrator, and I am just beginning to learn to draw. I have been writing for a long time, so I am used to being really good at what I do. Now that I am beginning a new journey, I sometimes get discouraged. I saw this video and knew it would be the perfect break from stressing! Thanks for the awesome content!
4:41 Chloe : *I'm not sure whose feet do that* *Me* : ...Stephanie Cordato (Lol idk if I spelled her name right ik theres a bunch of ways to spell Stephanie like I know a girl whose name was spelled Staefani of something idk)
yEEESSSS the first one it's like a magnet sketch!!! That's what you're talking about! I had several of them as a child! Also as far as the model goes the idea is amazing, the execution is not (which is typical of wish stuff). They're based off of Ball Jointed Dolls which have amazing flexibility and realistic movement and usually have different attachments like that. A very good idea for an artists model since the wooden ones don't.... Really move very well. And god forbid you need references for anything like actual hands. Or faces. Or feet.
oh man. i collect some of those normal figmas, and it is painful to see what the bootleggers did to those archetype ones. between the broken joints and everything else, it's so unsettling. but such is the joy of ripoff products! everything else was pretty fascinating though-- in the words of a weird video game character: 'my, earth is full of things.'
I LOVE the little Boogie Board thingy! I use it for AAC all the time in places where I can't use a device and where I don't have a notebook that's easy to carry with me for communicating. As long as lighting is good, it's very easy to jot a quick thing down on to tell people things real quick. I have mini ones that just fit in the pocket. I also used it heavily when I worked at the library behind the front desk. I had to jot down things like pages printed and whether it was black and white and how much the computer said the cost was because I couldn't ring them up until AFTER they got their stuff and after you click "print" literally all the info disappears..... Most people could remember it for some reason, but that was hard so I wrote it down on the Boogie Board as I went along in the transaction and erased everything after the transaction was over.
The 2 finger glove isn’t just for not sticking to the screen but also it stops the screen from registering when your hand touches the screen and won’t add marks to the artwork! Otherwise just like in regular drawing, you can accidentally run your hand across it and screw everything up! Hehe!
Chloe I love your videos. I love the variety your channel has. And your voice is nice and that is very important when watching. Also just wanted to let you know that your lighting for your new videos is very bright, nearly white washes you out.
For anyone curious, that bored is actually a cheap version if a Boogie Board and you can actually get a version of it from their website that is digital and saves you work!
Gloves are also mainly used because when you put down your hand in a normal screen it will transfer the energy and with draw in the place where your hand has rested.
i;ve had the same problem, but here lately, when i click on the NS bell, a pop up will appear and say something to the effect that you will be notified on SOME videos (so not all videos)
I think laser pointer is for situations when you already have a line and you need to see where you're cutting, like where does the blades go, maybe? Also that glove would be handy when you draw on paper, so your hand won't get black from pencil or charcoal
I have bought one of the figure drawing models from wish in the past. I made sure to order one that was labeled as the brand that normally does sell for 80 bucks on Amazon. It was still a lot cheaper and was really great quality. I can tell from the packaging you clearly got an off-brand version of the poser.
Is your first name Chloe and last name Rose? If it is then we have the same name! Middle name is probably different though, my middle name is Michelle. 😅
It's super easy to find bootleg Figma's. Bootlegs tend to have either incredibly tight joints that won't remove, or very weak flimsy joints, so that may have been the case for you.
The only practical purpose for the engraver would probably be for artists working with wood for signing their name or adding some texture... i dont do that but i still kind of want one now bc ur right it looks fun haha Nifty stuff u found!
Hey just wanted to say that you really should pan your camera down little bit because right now it looks like you are drowning in your video if that makes sense. If this image clarifies what I'm trying to say imgur.com/a/Dheqw
SilverrKitten I recently dropped my camera and now the lcd screen is upside down when I flip it so it’s quite tough getting my myself into frame when I’m upside down 😅 thanks for the feedback though! I will try to frame it better next time :)
Great stuff! Tablet is pretty nifty, it’s a modern version of an old toy I used to have as a kid to lol. Scissors were hilarious 😂. Your reactions...priceles. Thanks Chloe!
Awesome vid Chloe, I was literally shouting at my phone when you were talking about the drawing pad, the pen was like magnetic and when you drew the lines were like kinda fuzzy?? Definitely reminded me of when I was little
Woah, that glove thing looks super cool. Could be helpful if you're using paper as well so you don't smudge the graphite/charol, and you won't end up with a black hand afterwards.
YOU ARE LEFT HANDED TOO?! HOW DID I NOT REALIZE THIS AFTER WATCHING YOU FOR SO LONG? WHY ARE WE LITERALLY THE SAME

I think for the last one you were supposed to draw a line with a ruler first, and then make sure the Lazer is constantly lined up with it and cut.
To be fair. If you draw a line with a ruler you don't need a laser, you just cut along the line!
I think I've got it. Maybe you place a dot on the paper for where you want the cut to end, then just keep the laser focused on that dot while you cut along the beam. That still sounds potentially problematic.

Chloe : *I'm not sure whose feet do that*
*Me* : ...Stephanie Cordato (Lol idk if I spelled her name right ik theres a bunch of ways to spell Stephanie like I know a girl whose name was spelled Staefani of something idk)
yEEESSSS the first one it's like a magnet sketch!!!
Or faces. Or feet.
I got a wish ad in the middle of the video
Me too:
"It came it came it caame it came...
Whats it gonna be?"
😕
m m same
We have those tablets at work. We use dramatically fewer post it notes now. It’s really handy.
Saying stay to a figurine always works :)
oh man. i collect some of those normal figmas, and it is painful to see what the bootleggers did to those archetype ones. between the broken joints and everything else, it's so unsettling. but such is the joy of ripoff products! everything else was pretty fascinating though-- in the words of a weird video game character: 'my, earth is full of things.'
Yea that glove is really.... handy....
Lol everytime a part would come off the body and she gives that funny reaction, I start cracking up. Love this video.
5:07 draw me like one of your French girls
Most people could remember it for some reason, but that was hard so I wrote it down on the Boogie Board as I went along in the transaction and erased everything after the transaction was over.
the engraver sounds like a farting bee
The 2 finger glove isn’t just for not sticking to the screen but also it stops the screen from registering when your hand touches the screen and won’t add marks to the artwork! Otherwise just like in regular drawing, you can accidentally run your hand across it and screw everything up! Hehe!
idky she doesn't have a million subs
Tyler b probably because she's not a very skilled artist
misstimetosleep Uh.. have you seen her drawings? She’s a lot better than you’ll ever be tbh :/
Frosty Dawn loool okay clearly you know what you're talking about since you've never seen my work
misstimetosleep Maybe you should post some of it on RUclips since you have a channel, and you apparently painted the Mona Lisa.
Frosty Dawn haha you don't need to have painted the mona lisa in order to have an opinion on a technically poor 'artist'
Chloe I love your videos. I love the variety your channel has. And your voice is nice and that is very important when watching. Also just wanted to let you know that your lighting for your new videos is very bright, nearly white washes you out.
Chlore is my faaaav art youtuber
Miss. Anonymous aw thank you!
oml there was a typo in her name and its probably the only one of her comments she'll ever see wow-
That half glove is pretty good for sketch and charcoal artists (getting all that stuff on the hand)
Those hexagon drawing piece of crap were my life when I was little, and yea you are right the pen was to short.
Absolutely hysterical with the posable doll.
Holy crap you are beautiful! ❤️
Frizzy Sings aww 🙈 thank you
For anyone curious, that bored is actually a cheap version if a Boogie Board and you can actually get a version of it from their website that is digital and saves you work!
Me: You need to do everything she says
My friend: i dont like her channel but ok
She: - if you dont like me... Then like!-
My friend: .-.
Gloves are also mainly used because when you put down your hand in a normal screen it will transfer the energy and with draw in the place where your hand has rested.
Notification squad where are you? ;)
-TEA- right here!!
In space 🌌🌌🌌
IM HERE
HERE
*:p*
i;ve had the same problem, but here lately, when i click on the NS bell, a pop up will appear and say something to the effect that you will be notified on SOME videos (so not all videos)
Start engraving.. whatever.. your doors, your belongings, *YOUR BOYFRIEND*
I think laser pointer is for situations when you already have a line and you need to see where you're cutting, like where does the blades go, maybe?
Also that glove would be handy when you draw on paper, so your hand won't get black from pencil or charcoal
I genuinely got happy when you used air quotes about the "she" body form
Sam is trash why, i was confused?
Jazza wears a half a glove
Me too lol,it's good for not putting your grease on the screen of the tablet
A “smudge protector“ :)
I love that you actually reply to comments! U are the best!
Not first Comment!
hahahaha
Chloe Rose Art is that a evil laugh????
Great stuff! Tablet is pretty nifty, it’s a modern version of an old toy I used to have as a kid to lol. Scissors were hilarious 😂. Your reactions...priceles. Thanks Chloe!
Awesome vid Chloe, I was literally shouting at my phone when you were talking about the drawing pad, the pen was like magnetic and when you drew the lines were like kinda fuzzy?? Definitely reminded me of when I was little
Kerys Begg yessss that’s the one!!
The doll poser thing part was hilarious XDD
A whole world of hand related humour and you go for “it’s handy”
That engraver would be really great for doing dry point etching. Much easier than scratching at the plastic with a needle for hours.
Woah, that glove thing looks super cool. Could be helpful if you're using paper as well so you don't smudge the graphite/charol, and you won't end up with a black hand afterwards.
