Today I purchased and tried the first 3 art supplies/products that Instagram recommended to me in sponsored ads/ posts! I have never bought anything through ads before, especially instagram. So I clicked the first three I saw and decided to purchase and try out what I was recommended!
I found a really cool art supply bucket holder, some crayola nail polish I used as paint, and an ART SNACKS box filled with awesome art supplies! I loved testing and purchasing this all. Let me know what your favorite thing is!

I keep getting ads for that bucket/art-supply-holder-thing!! I literally thought about getting it for no reason. So its hilarious to see it "in-person" in your video. I'm so sad you sat on it, cuz its actually really really cute. Although its WAY smaller than I pictured it.

I use nail polish in my artwork when I make artist trading cards (ATC'S) rather regularly. However I typically don't use them for finer details mostly for creating backgrounds or to make something "pop" a bit more.

At least your Instagram ads actually match what you're into. My ads are for movies and to stop smoking, even though I'm obviously an art account.
I thought instagram ads were based on search history or something, not entirely sure about that though!
AnEmberNamedKimari They are supposed to be, but my art account used to be my personal and they tend to show ads based on that and who is paying more for that ad to show up.
I had such a hard time finding it! I spent most of the time looking at furniture and clothing ads hahaha

Ive tried drawing with nail polish before and its rlly hard. I understand ur pain

I've never been an artist and most of the time my parents wouldn't bother getting me paints. I often ended up completing assignments in class in under 10 minutes. Anyway...so I have tried the nail polish art. Very glossy and royally messy would be the right description. Also stuck to the previous page in the note book..and had to be removed.

Chloe you make me laugh...and I've been down with bronchitis all week so I really appreciated this video. I was drinking coffee and did a spit take when you said "Caran D'Ache...I don't have anything of hers". At first I thought you were being serious but then I realized that you were just being silly. My dream is to own an entire set of Caran D'Ache Luminance pencils (sigh) but I will probably never EVER be able to afford this amazing brand. . .I can dream, can't I. Keep up the amazing work...love you!

If it’s any consolation, I looked up the bucket on amazon and two of the reviews said the water part broke very quickly anyway. Someone already said it, but the nail varnish blotchiness doesn’t show from a distance, only when you zoomed in.

I'm so glad you still show your art even when you think it didn't turn out well. The majority of artists on RUclips seem to only show their "perfect" pieces that turned out exactly how they wanted... And that's not a true representation of what an artist does and goes through. We all have those pieces that turn out like poo but that's part of being an artist. Anyways, I love you work and your videos. Please keep them coming! Also, can't wait to get my pins!!

I'm soooooo glad I found your channel! You're a great teacher and entertainer, I've learnt a lot and I've found the inspiration I had lost. I love art but it also stresses me out a lot (does anyone feel the same? Is it normal?) like a was about to run a mile. But I'm taking it easy!
On a side note, you can use the nail polish to paint on porcelain (cold one, or any material alike). I've done a few catrinas and cats with it and it works great! , although it's gonna smell for a few days. Anyway, keep up the good work! A big hug from Chile 🇨🇱 :)

Honestly, I think you did a marvellous job considering you were painting with nail polish! That's actually a pretty neat idea. I've got loads of nail polish that I don't use anymore and maybe I could try to art with them

Lol it's moments like this where I'm glad I get cheap-o supplies because I've bought retractable erasers from Krogers for YEARS and for a two pack or a pack with the eraser and a pencil and sharpener can be around 2-5 bucks lol Cheap rocks!

I actually made a painting with nail polish once for a company to do a promo (fortunately it was water-based polish), but yeah, it dries SO fast 😂 this was probably even worse than what I went through because the water based one doesn’t smell (and can be mixed with water!!!!)
