    This is so neat!! I'm still a bit new to crocheting. I'm on my 2nd try of this and it seems to be so much bigger than yours. This time around I really focused on it but it is still huge. I'm not crocheting tight, tight but not loose either. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. It looks good but it's not small looking like in the video. I'm on the 4th row of 1/2 double crochets.

    Great pattern! Do you know if tripling up the yarn like that makes you use more skeins on average? Also how do you deal with joining the working yarn from the end of one skein to the beginning of the other when it's tripled up? Can't wait to try this beanie out!

    • @LittlejohnsYarn
      @LittlejohnsYarn  5 лет назад +2

      Yes, you use more yarn, but the pattern works up quicker. Its a great hack when u don't have super bulky yarn. I just tie the new single strand to the working strands...then restart the yarn hack

    Love the worsted to bulky tip,thanks! So in this pattern when you reduce yarn from 3 strands back to 1 and leave the two extra, you weave those into hat at the end?

    • @LittlejohnsYarn
      @LittlejohnsYarn  6 лет назад

      Joanne, i'm sorry i'm slow to respond. I must have missed your comment. If you crochet overtop of your double strand you will not have to weave in your ends later.

      You will need to add an extra increasing row. The stitches will just be tighter. I hope that helps
