Most of the samurai game in the last decade also have fantasy to it and rarely a normal non fantasy one

Once you have played GoT, you will find the combat in AC Shadow is somewhat missing. The deflect feel way too easy. The animation look gruesome and bloody but no elegant. However, the environment destruction looks great and the stealth combat look promising so yeah I will give it a go.
Nothing will beat Ghost of Tsushima in category samurai and i still wonder how this masterpiece couldn't win game of the year...
Because that year were The last of us 2 too, and is an amazing master peace

@@uranus256 not. I play videogames for 30 years.. and the last of us 2, is way way better videogame. The characters, the feelings that you feel when you play it, is another level. I like Got, very much. But, is an Assasins creed game, but better.

comparing just any game to ghost of tsushima is goofy in my opinion. its like trying to compare the kid in class who's trying to pass the test with flying colors, to the kid who's just trying to get a good enough grade. the comparison is just dumb. If you really wanna give ghost of tsushima competition you'll have to compare it to another kid in class who's trying to pass the test with flying colors, that kid would be red dead redemption 2
Assassin's Creed Shadow will undoubtedly be an open world just like Ghost of Tsushima and Red Dead Redemption 2, so the comparison remains entirely legitimate and the gameplay of Shadow will be the same at release remains 4 months before the game's release, it's too late to correct certain things "probably an update".
The thing is that Assassin's Creed Shadow offers, Ghost of Tsushima already offered it but better.
and if you want us to compare games from the same license there is Assassin's Creed Unity which came out 10 years ago now and from what we see it does better than Shadow and in all respects.

@@giannid.7794 I do agree that so far it doesnt seem to be in the same league as GOT, but saying it does everything worse just based on the trailers and 13 min video is silly. Even just judging on these, stealth is clearly way better and more intricate and advanced in shadows than in GOT and even unity. Parkour and platforming seems smoother and more fun as well than GOT. And mission design seems more open with multiple ways to get to the point instead of it being liniar. Sadly the yasuke gameplay looked very dissapointing tho, they clearly took inspiration from ghost of tsushima with their UI and combat system and some other details like the people bowing to you, but the yasuke combat looked really stiff and clunky. As for visuals, it's better fidelity wise, but presentation and general look still go the ghost of tsushima based on what we have so far, ac shadows looked a bit flat and lacked that strong atmosphere that even games in the same series had.

Yeah, the girl gameplay looked nice, stealth and parkour, but the yasuke part looked like a 2015 version of ghost of tsushima for ps4. Should be compared to the witcher 3 maybe

AC shadows is not about samurais but about assassins and Shinobis mainly.
@@primeminister1040i've played all of them and i still think Ghost is the best open world samurai game that beats all of them. But i think Sekiro is a close second although Sekiro is more of a supernatural shinobi game like Nioh.

So, Assassin’s Creed isn’t Assassin’s Creed anymore. Just a combat game with the AC logo on it. Which is why I stopped getting AC games after Syndicate. And judging by the gameplay, it’s a shittier and more rigid rip off of GoT.
It has two protagonistsone a samurai (for combat) and a female (shinobi) a ninja with stealth approch and a hidden blade

Got look fluid and natural while shadow look stiff and robotic,hell the movement during combat look worse than for honor and all the previous ac game before origin

@@Jaded-i7t yeah and we drink using our mouth,the game isn’t out but it official gameplay is, not even a beta but official gameplay and the game is slated to be released by November which is just 5 months away, we’re talking with what we currently have whether or not the final release be any different is a completely different story but for now it look bad and feel bad, just because the game isn’t out doesn’t mean we should just let bad gameplay reveal slide but hey if you want another halo infinite or battlefield 2042 then be my guest

No, the gameplay of Shadow will be exactly like that when the game is released, the game is generally finished, there are only 4 months left for the release, it's very little to correct the game 100% except if it is pushed back but I doubt it .
@@giannid.7794 I'm not saying the game won't look like what they showed but they are comparing an unfinished product with a finished product. Not the way to go. Wait until the game is fully out to make a comparison.
@@ac_nerd9794the benefit of the doubt would have been given if this wasn't Ubisoft, but me and many others are pretty sure that the game will be more or less the same like in this pre release trailer, but I'd be happy for them to prove me wrong but I doubt that'll happen
@@Mooster5414 Again, I'm not saying the game won't be similar of even a more polished version of what we saw, the video above is clearly showing a finished product and an unfinished unreleased product. If anything, the comparison is bias and uncalled for until the release of Shadows which I'm sure will be much better than so many act.

They tried their damndest to copy and ripoff Ghost of tsushima but a game that's more busy focusing on DEI crap could never be even half as good as the Masterpiece that is GoT. GoT 2 will be epic!

I would like to buy Ghost of Tsushima but the problem is that I don’t know if there are many supernatural elements like fantastic creatures or magic because I don’t really like fantasy games and I didn’t want to waste money on something I won’t play
It's good man not much or even don't even have fantasy stuff to it but there are mythic tales but it's not that fantasy also
The fantasy stuff is mainly in legends co-op mode and it's pretty fun as well

@@Fafnir2000I have actually not played many of the games of the franchise and I think I must have avoided by coincidence the ones with fantasy stuff, which I guess are mostly the recent ones
@@whitezombie10 assassins creed always had the theme of alien-like artifacts or more accurately: advanced artifacts from the old civilization. The thing is that early assassins creed introduces that stuff usually towards the very end or very minimally. Ghost of Tsushima doesn't really include all that unless you do side quest that dive into it. One of them was based of a demon that kills people, but you come to find out he's a very skilled murder and swordsman. Another side quest is a straight up supernatural mind trip where you fight a dude in a tengu mask. But again these are side stories. Assassins creed has more of these artifact stuff in the main game
Hey can somebody fill me in I’ve been playing Got and I got kinda bored with it I know it’s a samurai game but your using the same sword the whole game and while I was playing I was thinking like atleast in AC you get different weapons but idk maybe I’m tripping and the combat feel kinda the same for me playing AC Valhalla but idk somebody put me on game (give me some game on why got is that good)

Dont get why ghost of tsushima is being so glorified. Literally is the same flow and pace of combat of every single medieval sword game of the past ten years. Ac origins odyssey and Valhalla included. Atleast shadows seems like they are trying a new style.
