I hate to play as black protagonist in japan for assassins creed, but ghost of tsushima is kind of boring, the music is not interesting, and maps is just kind of empty
I feel like they did, although poorly. perfect parrying slow-mo, stances (not fully sure though) and apparently even resolve mechanic were all applied into AC shadows. Stances are not the same as in For honor, since it's used only to decide which side to attack/block, and in GoT it's used to decide different kind of attacks (some stances stun more often, for example) and to fight different kind of enemies. Imo the combat presented in AC shadows is a lot more choppy compared to GoT, which is a lot more fluid. To be fair to AC shadows, the stealth seems to be better, using light and climbing much more efficiently.
If this is anything like the final product I really don't think ghost of tsushima has anything to worry about. Such janky combat, so much potential but as always Ubisoft cant deliver
I'd say inspired. It's not like Tsushima's combat is anything unique. And the ending filter is a great inspiration and improvement. My hopes for AC are low, but I hope that gameplay is fun. Dont expect the story to be any good though

Ghost has 4+1 stances that are based around killing different types of enemies. I dont know how smooth your brain has to be to think just by having stances Ghost copied FH.
