My top ten would be Dancing with mr d, One hit to the body, Ruby Tuesday 19th nervous breakdown, Mixed emotions, Gimme shelter, Jumpin jack flash, start me up, you got me rocking, out of tears. Great list by the way, STONES ROCK!!
top 10 Can't Get No Satisfaction Sympathy for the Devil Paint It Black Gimme Shelter Brown Sugar Honky Tonk Women You Can't Always Get What You Want Wild Horses Angie & Start Me Up U can't go wrong with that.
My Top Stones Songs Not On This List: 1. Jumpin’ Jack Flash 2. Can’t You Hear Me Knocking? 3. She’s So Cold 4. Get Off of My Cloud 5. Ruby Tuesday 6. Mixed Emotions 7. Undercover of the Night 8. 19th Nervous Breakdown 9. Under My Thumb 10. Let’s Spend the Night Together
Well Brian created The Rolling Stones and was better off playing multiple instruments in different songs Mick Taylor was an absolute great guitar player but left bc he felt like an outsider of the group Ronnie Wood is a rough and cool guitar player and plays really well with Keith so it’s the hardest question in my opinion they’re all great
I don't have time to watch this yet but The Stones are a legend in the music industry, right up there with the Beetles, Michael Jackson and Elvis. It seems like a disservice to them to have a video on their legacy that's only 21 and a half minutes long.
A few Next Episodes I guess everyOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOne wants to see Led Zeppelin - The Story & the Songs Madonna - The Story & the Songs Beach Boys - The Story & the Songs Pink Floyd - The Story & the Songs U2 - The Story & the Songs Queen - The Story & the Songs Metallica - The Story & the Songs Iron Maiden - The Story & the Songs Radiohead - The Story & the Songs Def Leppard - The Story & the Songs Doors - The Story & the Songs AC/DC - The Story & the Songs The Police - The Story & the Songs ABBA - The Story & the Songs Bon Jovi - The Story & the Songs Nirvana - The Story & the Songs Van Halen - The Story & the Songs Oasis - The Story & the Songs Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Story & the Songs Green Day - The Story & the Songs Foo Fighters - The Story & the Songs Depeche Mode - The Story & the Songs Coldplay - The Story & the Songs Muse - The Story & the Songs Blink-182 - The Story & the Songs Linkin Park - The Story & the Songs

It should be noted that the songs Wild Horses, Brown Sugar and one other song on the Sticky Fingers album was recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio on Jackson Highway. Right down the road from Fame Studios where greats like Percy Sledge, Wilson Pickett and Etta James recorded their Number 1 hits.
Mick Jagger Keith Richards Brian Jones Bill Wyman Charlie Watts ---- Brian Dies Mick Taylor Replaces ----- Mick Jagger Keith Richards Mick Taylor Charlie Watts Bill Wyman ----- Mick Taylor Quits Ronnie Wood Replaces ----- Mick Jagger Keith Richards Ronnie Wood Charlie Watts Bill Wyman ----- Bill Wyman Quits Nobody Replaces If anyone is confused by there members lol
The totally definite list of the Stones’ Top Ten songs: 1. Let It Loose 2. Sympathy for the Devil 3. Gimme Shelter 4. Moonlight Mile 5. Beast of Burden 6. Tumbling Dice 7. Paint It Black 8. Time Waits For No One 9. Angie 10. As Tears Go By
Most of these are off popularity but there are some HOT Stones tracks that weren’t even honorable mentions, let alone on the list Get Off of My Cloud I’m Free Mother’s Little Helper Let’s Spend The Night Together Citadel No Expectations (brilliant slide guitar work by Jones) Stray Cat Blues Live With Me Midnight Rambler (Jagger and Keef’s best work IMO) Bitch Rocks Off Rip This Joint Casino Boogie Sweet Virginia Torn and Frayed Loving Cup Happy Turd on the Run Ventilator Blues All Down the Line Shine a Light Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker) Angie It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll (But I Like It) Some Girls Beast of Burden Shattered
Even though Ronnie Wood joined the band in 1975, it wasn't until Wyman's departure in 1993 that Woods became a financial partner. Bill Wyman married 18 yr old Mandy Smith in 1989, when Bill was 52. It ended in divorce in 1993. Bill started being involved with Mandy when she was 13.
Good Job. Hard though to reduce 50 years into the Ten Best. I'd have picked their 5 best C&W songs, 5 best Rock songs, 5 best Soul songs, 5 best Rhythm & Blues songs ......
Merry Clayton sang the awesome hook for the song Gimmie Shelter. The songs Brown Sugar and Wild Horses were recorded the same weekend at Muscle Shoals, and wasn't even supposed yo happen as the band did not have permit to record songs during their time in the States, as their permit stated no recordings, only touring.
Guys, come on. Exile, isn’t even that good. There’s about 7 at most good songs and the rest is unfocused, filler songs. I tried listening to it, I just can’t.
Once someone asked me why the Rolling Stones didn’t have a Hollywood walk of fame star, to which I told him that we don’t want tourists to step on our favourite band!
brian jones didnt leave the group the other members of the group kicked him out even though he was the leader and did a good amount of the work for them
I was like A Rock And A Hard Place, think it is very underrated as in every individual, including other musicians (horns/saxs) and back ground singers played a part.
The song (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction was written and recorded the first time, when Keith Richards woke up in the middle of the night, played and recorded the melody, then passed out again. He woke up the next morning having no memory of that even happening.
I love the Stones, but one has to wonder why their bass player (Darryl Jones) of over 20 years is never shown as a member.I believe he's on the cover of the Steel Wheels album with Mick, otherwise one rarely if ever sees him. Mick Taylor was in the band for only 5 years and he was considered a full member of the Stones and was seen all the time.BTW Darryl Jones is mentioned in this vid, and shown only once, hmmmm. I hope that my suspicion is wrong, but I really don't like what it looks like.
I saw Ronnie play in '75 and beyond. I've seen Mick in a club in the 70s. I'd take Mick every time. I also saw what was Ronnie's first sober show Stone's show, I believe. He was lost that night. That was a while ago. I wish him good health.
sympathy for the devil is one of the greatest lyrics EVER !
Carlos Oliveira yep

Beast Of Burden is the greatest Rock & Roll song ever written.

I was like A Rock And A Hard Place, think it is very underrated as in every individual, including other musicians (horns/saxs) and back ground singers played a part.
this is so full of errors. it is disgusting.
